Fantastic place to explore, no entrance fee, it’s FREE. You can park your car at the parking around 200m away from this bridge and enjoy the way you get here
Beautiful place , amazing views , super calm and peaceful. Trials are easy and you can definitely check it out in a couple hours if you take your time , great place for photography around it . Would definitely come back
Really cool trestle bridge with fantastic canyon views. Definitely worth a visit if you're on Vancouver Island. I was there with a group of timber framers and they really enjoyed not only the timber framed pavilion, but also (of course) the trestle. Really nice evening outing on a hot summer day and great swimming in the river if you're able to make it down the slope.
This place is super chill and relaxing. It’s such a cool experience to check out this historic trestle and take in the view. It was not crowded during our visit, there’s plenty of parking, and the trestle is just a kilometer away from the parking lot. If you’re visiting on a rainy day, bring your raincoat and umbrella and enjoy the walk towards this amazing view. You won’t regret it!
One of our family favourite places for an easy and relaxing walk on holidays. Enjoy the magnificent views while walking. We love to bring our friends there, too whenever they visit Victoria. Showing them this amazing piece of engineering would definitely make their trips to Vancouver Island more memorable.
Take the time to visit this amazing structure. It's one of the best examples of a tressle in the area and is truly amazing to behold when you're standing next to or under it. No tickets needed, no tourist trap and very few people! Also good for a bike ride or walk along the trails.
An old railway line turned into a multi-use path takes you to the trestle bridge. It is an easy flat gravel path for walking or biking. A few geocaches to search for too! Porta potties are available.
Just Fantastic! Whether you're Hiking or Biking this is a must visit spot. Take the time to go down to the river to really appreciate how high this Trestle is! And the pools along the river are great for swimming in the summer.
