Excellent Adventure Day Hike is Vargas Island. You could even Camp on the Desolate Island if you Wanted. Bring Long Pants and Bug Spray, Boots Might be Helpful as Well. We had a Super Fun Day and Were also Greeted by Two Whales who were Eating and Playing around in the Waters off the Beach. Highly Recommend Tofino Water Taxi to Drop you Off.

Once in a lifetime hike for 2 humans + a greyhound. "Unkept trail" is a bit of an understatement. More like someone made a trail 50 years ago and never tended to it again. Leaves for quite the adventure. Walk through different kinds of scenery. Flat. VERY wet and flooded in April, but we made it to the other side of the island and back, you will too. You'll have to do a lot of weaving around mud, branches, balancing on wooden "planks" etc. Wear long pants to protect your legs from spikey greenery. Deserted beach on the other side - bring lunch and enjoy the peace quiet.

Took Ocean Oufitters and spent the day adventuring around this island in a boat. Seen lots of sea life

Awesome Park! We were in Ahous Bay, what an amazing spot. Shallow COLD water perfect for some skimboarding. Highly recommend it if you're thinking of exploring this area. The beach is hard packed sand which holds the weight of a C172 with ease.

Watched a whole bunch of otters. In a boat, so they were hard to make out but with binoculars, we could see a bunch with babies on their belly.

Rugged, untouched and a very unique environment on this flat boggy island with amazing beaches on all sides.
