One of my favorite places on earth. The park, and this entire part of the world is great. Been coming here since about 1980 and I will never stop. Absolutely stunning scenery. Laid back lifestyle.

Awesome beach, very fine sand and not too crazy with the crowds for the last week of August. Outdoor wash areas you get the sand off before getting back into your car. Remember to buy your national park pass.

Stayed at airbnb, fantastic wave and beach watching. Treated our selves to the pluvio resturant in uculet. (Expensive but one of the best resturants in canada) Park facilities were clean and stocked ( campsites closed) drive thru no 4 highway had construction delays so check bc highways for latest rd reports.

Don't forget to get your park pass for parking. This beach is so lovely. We only spent 4 hours but we could have spent the whole day.

Awesome Beach, long sandy beach. Also always windy so if you're a kite person be sure to bring your kite. Lots of surfers. Pay parking, $15 for a family for 12 hrs. New washroom bldgs, only cold water but the bldgs are heated.

Over 10KM of sand and waves, Long Beach is one of the longest beaches around, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to walk! I expected more logs and rocks, instead the beach was sandy - although unlike in more tropical climates this is wet sand packed tightly to the ground. Very windy but such a gorgeous beach!

This place offers a captivating blend of rugged beauty and serene coastline. The expansive sandy shores, backed by lush forests, create a picturesque setting. The crashing waves attract surf enthusiasts, while the stunning sunsets make it ideal for a leisurely stroll. Nature lovers will appreciate the diverse marine life and birdwatching opportunities. However, be prepared for variable weather conditions. Overall, Long Beach is a must-visit for those seeking a tranquil escape in the midst of nature's wonders.

Long, wide, and beautiful beach! The sand is very fine and solid to walk on. Serene and tranquil…. Even the waves are quiet. Gorgeous sunset!

The Pacific has never looked so beautiful! This is one of the nicest beaches I've ever seen. Worth a stop for sure!

The temporary closure of Highway 4 significantly impacted, for example, Port Alberni, Tofino, and Ucluelet residents. CTV News Vancouver Island and other media have reported that the Cameron Bluffs Fire in the eastern part of Port Alberni has caused the closure of Highway 4. The Cameron Bluffs Fire will likely pose challenges and tragedies to residents, visitors, families, friends, and firefighters in the affected areas. It is a stark reminder of the often devastating impact of fire. Please be cautious when extinguishing flames and never leave campfires unattended, even after restrictions are lifted. Though fire incidents are negative aspects of life, they can allow regrowth and visiting parks can significantly improve your mood and help you connect with positive emotions. It can also assist in coping with challenging days and reconnecting with supportive individuals. The stunningly beautiful old-growth forests in Cathedral Grove are a testament to this.

Huge sandy beach! It stays shallow for a while making it a great place to play in the waves as you can stand when the current is strong. The waves were pretty decent when we were there, but it's cold of course! They had change rooms, bathrooms and a nice outdoor rinse off shower (at the north end of the parking lot). Also there are lots of surfers to watch!

😐 This facility once had a very good exhibition. Restaurant with beach and sunset views used to be top class, high rated. Unfortunately, since management transferred to First Nations, essentially abandoned.

👍👍 Great hike 10 mins from Tofino. We took the Tofino Water taxi over and back. As someone who does not do well on boats it was a quick ride over with only 1 or 2 bumps along the way. The cedar planks are awesome but very uneven. So make sure to wear good shoes! We took our time and tried to take in...
