I was here for a Women’s retreat and this place is nothing short of amazing. I had been told about West Coast River Lodge and how beautiful it was but being here is a whole new appreciation for how accommodating it is for a large group. There was 25 women and we all had our own space to explore on our own as well as common rooms that we’d come together for workshops & team work The “cigar room” was by far my favourite closed in outdoor space with a real wood burning fireplace, accent lights, and cozy couches to relax and enjoy the sound of the river just steps away. (Where there’s salmon jumping often) The attention to detail is what truly makes this space incredibly special. The bedrooms, the bathrooms and each room had a warm feeling that leaves you wanting to return. The ample space on the deck accommodated all of us laying down for a sound bath under a full moon. I will 100% be coming back to West coast lodge for events. Marnie was extremely accommodating and answered all of our questions in prompt timing. Thank you so so much for the amazing time.

West Coast River Lodge is an absolutely beautiful getaway. You, your family, couples or groups will have an opportunity to experience whatever you are in the mood for. Whether it is relaxing by the pool or hot tub, maybe it is hiking to beautiful lookouts or taking in some of the best fishing in Canada. It's all here and all basically in your back yard. In all my travels I've never experienced so much that is to offer without having to travel miles and miles from where I'm staying. What makes this place 5 stars is the owners/operators, they are truly wonderful people. Highly recommend and will be back.

great place for a family vacation, around 7 bedrooms and each with a bathroom, fabulous location and overall an amazing experience, would 100% go again.

I stayed at West Coast River Lodge and it exceeded my expectations. The property is incredible, located right in the river. We watched salmon swimming upstream and fishermen trying to catch them. The accommodation was fantastic with the main lodge, swimming pool and hot tub and multiple out buildings. I highly recommend staying here for any large event!

A hidden gem in the heart of Vancouver Island, the environment of the West Coast River Lodge is the definition of peaceful and welcoming. We spent a week here with close friends and it felt like heaven on earth. The owner's of the lodge are wonderful and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We'll definitely be back!

What a place of beauty! Tucked away beside the River this home had everything we needed for a weekend away. A huge outdoor grill space, a wonderful pool and only minutes away from all the brewery’s you could ask for. Highly recommend it for any event, bachelorette weekend or a family reunion.

Incredible location. Can’t wait to be there again soon at the dualistic unity retreat! Need to see that bear next time and maybe find the key to that wine cellar 😉

We had the most amazing wedding at the Lodge! I can't rave enough about our hosts and how much they did to make our special day easy. Everyone loved the grounds with lots to do. We cant recommend staying here enough. Thank you so much M&S!

Incredible place to host the Dualistic Unity Retreat. The lodge created the coziest environment for our group to relax in and soak in the fresh nature and air. Love that all the bathrooms had handsoap available. The beds were extremely comfortable. There was so much firewood ready that all of our bonfire needs were satisfied greatly. We got great use out of the furnace in the gazebo and the chimney in the living room. The hot tub was amazing as well. The only thing I think could be improved is the sauna was not 100% insulated. It never got to sweat-drenching temperatures and my feet were always cooler than the rest of my body. This is only a seasonal problem however! I'm sure it'd be fine in the summer.

Awesome place! Great people, great pool - great everything! If you are looking for an vacation home oasis on the river surrounded by trees than look no further. For a family weekend away, a retreat, a wedding - you name it, this is the place! Can't wait to go back! <3

This place is great. Everyone always loves it - from the youngest kids in our family all the way to the grand parents. There's something for everyone. There is the pool, hot tub, and sauna. You're right on the river. It's quite and peaceful. The scenery is beautiful, and there's lots of wildlife. If you like to read, the lodge has tons of places to curl up with a good book - both inside and outside. The area has lots of activities within driving distance. We like to visit Long Beach near Tofino and the caves in Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park.

Gorgeous venue for a wedding. Had such an enjoyable time. Amazing view of the river with endless fish jumping. Stunning yard for a ceremony. Clean and heated pool, with a nice hot tub. Some of the rooms needed some TLC, and the towel situation for a large group was limited. Besides those two very minor points this is a nearly flawless place for a wedding, family reunion, or a company retreat.
