Can’t say enough positive things about Dr Wijay and her staff. Professional and compassionate care. Glad to have her expertise.

I cannot get over how wrong so many of the reviews have been about Doctor Wijay. She has been kind, caring and a compassionate professional with me. She’s a busy surgeon but if she takes you on as a patient of hers she will take care of you. If you want to be “coddled” go somewhere else, if you want a professional surgeon, you’ve found one. I will say though that initially I was taken aback because I thought she was rude, she really isn’t, she’s highly intelligent and quite brilliant.

Dr. Wijayanayagam performed 2 breast surgeries on me and is very professional and courteous. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for her knowledge about breast cancer.

Dr Wijayanayagam performed gall bladder surgery on me a few years ago. I found her to be very professional and helpful. I was quite nervous prior to talking through the procedure with her. I recently looked her up as I am now a candidate for knee surgery and was hoping she might be doing those as well, when I came upon a negative review, complaining about her receptionist. Well I can't speak to that but she was a great surgeon for me.

Receptionist is lacking communication skills, had me change my in-person appointment to a virtual appointment just to be told that I wasn't allowed to make it to my virtual appointment and then wait 3 weeks just to come in just to be told that I could die on the operating table meanwhile I'm almost dying already(could've told me that over the phone, just help me already doc!!) I'm visiting the Urgent Care every week for the last 2 years. Unfortunately if you do not have cancer you do not take presidence at this Clinic as per doctor WeeJay. So if you're suffering from gallbladder issues like me find a different doctor because I've been waiting 3 months for surgery and still have not had surgery after waiting years to finally see a surgeon. TRUST is a huge issue at this clinic so I recommend a different doctor. Does not care that I have 5 young children and they depend on me daily to feed and care for them. Try do that for years with stabbing in your upper stomach and puking bile and blood.

The receptionist here is giving medical advice. And making for a terrible atmosphere with her hostile in impatient mannerisms. When you tell her you have new information and concerns, and you want to speak with the doctor - she refuses and provides her own advice. When you have tests coming up and you did not properly prepare for the tests - as explicitly described as important in the written test prep material from the doctor - she tells you "go ahead and do the test anyway". When you insist that you would rather talk with the doctor - she hangs up on you. She is extremely rude, self entitled and hostile. You leave messages and even 24 hours later she says she has been too busy to listen to her messages. Sick people are coming here to be met by this grumpy impolite and just mean person. As well... people are being refused contact with their doctor and given advice from a uneducated clerk instead. I am lodging a complaint with the college of physcisians and surgeons.
