Nice little tour. Guide was super nice with the kids and added some explanations for them. In total tour takes around 1 hour. Parking directly in from of the main entrance. The guide is coming to the gate at the booked hour and let's you in. So don't be too early as you ga e to wait until you can go in but also don't be late as the gate will be closed after the booked group is inside.

The castle is very well preserved and this makes it very authentic. I could easily picture people living there, which contrasts with the museum vibe that I got from other castles I visited. The architectural details are fascinating, every corner has its own relief scenes or heraldic. The tour was 1h long, more than enough to visit the castle, stop and take pictures. There's a wine tasting available at the end, in the cellar, I skipped it though since I was driving. Speaking of driving, parking is a bit tight, I'd suggest leaving the car a couple of streets away and just walk the last bit.

Game of Thrones Episode 6 in season 6 was filmed here which is a testament to the feeling of grandeur and magnificence this place emanates. I highly recommend a visit with the great staff they have there. Super friendly and knowledgeable. They even knew details about the many details I asked them about. Incredible place. Incredible people.

Make sure to buy tickets in advance. This was a beautiful castle, with very knowledgeable tour guides taking you round, translating between Spanish and English, as well as being able to use audioguides with lots of different language options giving lots of information about each section of the castle.

We were guided by Marixel wich is an excellent guide. She's friendly, calm and has a lot of knowledge about the place and the region. The castle itself is very beautiful, well maintained and grand. The Game of Thrones fans will be pleased as every filming location is tto be viewed on the tour wich takes about an hour. Come early in the day, as you will be in a smaller group and you will be able to take better pictures.

Spectacular castle, Gloria gave us a wonderful tour which included unique information about the castle. She spoke very good English, and was very knowledgeable on all the historical aspects of the castle. The Game of Thrones series was filmed (Season 6) on site, which was and awesome highlight for our visit. We will comeback in the future, as this castle has the appearance (look and feel) of a true medieval fortress. Thanks Gloria for being such a great tour guide. -Efren

Book before visiting. Well kept and presented castle with interesting modern twists inside. Loved the vegetation around it and within the courtyard, it is being well taken care of. The tour guides are friendly and keep a good pace for the tour. The castle has a non-rectilinear plan layout, which makes it rather interesting, especially how the courtyard works with the open stair and loggia. The guides meet the next group at the metal gate which is on the access road, there is parking further up this road about 5mins walk.

Beautiful castle just outside Barcelona, well worth the visit. Our very friendly guide, Joy, guided us through the castle and added some interesting facts to our english audio guide. Bookings are best done beforehand online. After booking you can find directions for parking in the link. Some people think 12€ is too pricy, but they have no goverment funding. It is well worth it to preserve this beautiful building, just like one of the owners wanted to preserve the arch at the entrance, that is originally from Barcelona. The castle was used in season 6 of Game of Thrones.

Very beautiful castle which is worth seeing (even though the entrance fee is a bit higher - 12€ in 2022). All the location are well preserved and you can see the furniture and facilities from a very close. We were lucky that there were only 2 of us in the group! We have received an audio device which have provided some basic information in every room and location and there was also a guide acompanying us through the tour. Nice lady has answered us all the additional questions.

No free entrance even to a territory of a park. Everyone have to book an excursion previously. Time wasted. I recommend you to book the visit online. Or even world few days per week.

Fantastic the guides were absolutely lovely 😍 4 stars because I wanted to see more. Being privately owned it is only a small section to visit. Definitely go have a look!

Wish I could give zero stars. Went on a Thursday at 12.30 for the 13.00 tour and the gate was closed. There was another person waiting to get in but it was deserted. Closed. Even though according to the official website it was supposed to be open. The website stated there was a tour at 13.00.Are you serious? What a waste of time. Website needs to be updated and times of opening need to be clear. You can't treat visitors this way. Drove for more than an hour for nothing. Shame on you.

Nice place. Tour was way too rushed. Enjoyed it but wished we had more time

Very nice. A shame some parts were closed due to a filming crew ( on a Saturday! Come on!) will have to go back

Una visita interesante. Para mi gusto caro, pero desde luego me ha gustado la visita. The guide talks mostly in Spanish, mixing Catalan sometimes. If you want to visit the castle and want the explanation in your language please ask before visiting.
