The hotel is really nice, with new and nicely decorated rooms and lovely views. A wonderful estate near to Florence. Some things need improvement: the wine tasting tour is not worth the price (19-27€), it was just a short view into the cellar and took around 10 minutes. The bar is only open until 11pm. The pathway to the pool is down the gravel road towards parking, this can definitely be optimized.

Eccellente food experience, a lot of creativity wothout giving up local style. Laterally magnificient location in a splendid 18th century villa with breathless view. There is a kind of museum with lots of photos and documents that show the history of the place. I loved it.

We just came for the wine tasting and lunch. Maxime replied promptly to my email enquiry right from the start and he brought us around for the guided tour and wine tasting. Maxime is knowledgeable and very welcoming. The price for the tour and wine tasting was very worth it. The wines here are superb! We will recommend Torre A Cona for a vineyard visit for anyone visiting the Tuscany area!

An extremely beautiful place, both in terms of nature and architecture. The rooms were very clean and with original décor. The breakfast was more than superb, extremely rich and delicious. I recommend their wines, which are at the highest level in terms of quality and taste. This was the best place our family has ever stayed. It was an unforgettable experience that we will.

Just OK. I had high hopes for this place and we spent a lot of money to be there on our honeymoon, but overall we were underwhelmed. When we arrived we went to the pool right away and the staff said they would send someone down to the pool to take our drink orders, we had to go up twice and ask them to send someone down and waited about an hour and a half. Finally, they came down but served this big group of partyers first. This was also frustrating since we have to the resort for some peace and quiet. Typically when we pay extra to stay at high end hotels we're made to feel welcome and special and that's not how we felt during our stay. It seems like they tier their guests and give special attention to larger groups, despite being on our honeymoon. We had booked a picnic on our check out day and it started at noon, but they still made us check out at 11, they told us the restaurant was open to wait there and have a coffee but it was closed from 11-12 so we had to wait around awkwardly. The staff didn't seem aligned at all as the restaurant was surprised we were sent there when reception knows they're closed. The picnic food was just ok, it was a weird assortment of foods and only a mini bottle of wine. It would have been better if they just focused on salads and sandwiches. The picnic area also wasn't great as the grass was not well kept. The dinner we had one our first night at the restaurant was good, but I still don't think we would stay here again as it was nothing special.

This place is just simply amazing! They just did everything right at this place. The views and the location are beautiful. You are staying in a historical wine estate with a rich history while all rooms and amenities have the newest materials. Everything was clean. The staff was friendly. And the breakfast was the best we have had in Italy. I had high expectations upon booking, but they managed to beat all of those.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. In the morning we saw black mold on the wall next to the bed where I was sleeping. I am pregnant and we’re both doctors so we know that this is a big health hazard. At checkout we informed the hotel staff as well as the manager and showed them the pictures. As compensation they offered us a bottle of wine, but again since I am pregnant we weren’t really happy about this. We suggested that taking last nights dinner off the bill would have been a nice gesture. However the manger refused and invited us for the consumption of the bar, which obviously wasn’t that much since again I am pregnant (1 bottle of water and a coke). Black mold in any hotel room is unacceptable and even worse considering the pregnancy as well as the price of the room.

Stayed for six nights. They have been able to keep all the charm of a centuries old estate and add modern amenities. The rooms and grounds are beautiful inside and out. The chef and kitchen prepare the most delicious meals. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. It’s also conveniently situated just outside of Florence, and we were able to day trip to many local towns. We are already talking about a return trip and would highly recommend Torre A Cona as a great place to stay.

Stay at this wine estate in Tuscany while visiting Florence! Every view is a postcard. Walk through vineyards and olive groves. The estate is hundreds of years old and exquisitely maintained. The staf are friendly and treat you with Italian charm and grace. The BEST place I have ever stayed. (Trying to correct Google maps. The back entrance (“Agriturismo Torre a Cona” east of the estate) that Google maps shows is impassable rocky and closed. We had to back up a half a mile. You must use the entrance shown on the Torre a Cona website through the main gate which will catch you by surprise coming down the hill from the west from Florence.)

One of the best locations I have ever stayed whislt in Italy. The staff are among the friendliest and best I have ever dealt with. Big thank you to Davide, Nick and the bar staff Samuele who made the best cocktails I have ever had and provided good vibes. You will not find a better bar man. Absolutely reccomend this place for the staff alone.
