Calm little lake with some restaurants, picnic benches and a small building with the history of the park. I wouldn't recommend if you are in Madrid for a short trip but if you have nothing else to do and want some quiet time in nature with some ducks and other birds then it's only some metro stops away from the centre.

We went here for the day thinking that we would only spend one or two hours here but in the end we spent over give hours here. We went in the weekdays so it wasn't very busy which was great because we didn't have to wait for people to move out the way to take a picture.y favourite part of the day was the dolphin show which was very impressive ( i posted a video of it ) and it well out did my expectations of what I thought they would do. For the people who think that keeping g dolphins in captivity is bad you or wrong in this case as their enclosure was nice and big it was also clean. All of they looked happy and well looked after. The giant Panda was also great to see as not many zoos have them because they are endangered which is a shame they all had lots of bamboo to eat and water to drink in total there were three pandas you could see. Overall very enjoyable day.

Expansive forest close to Plaza de Espana, which can be easily accessed via the Lago tube station. It has numerous trails for walking and cycling. Best visited in the afternoon, when the direction of the setting sun can make for some amazing photographs. I Only wish it was less crowded on weekends...but otherwise, it’s a fantastic park for exercise and nature lovers.

The park is easily accessible by metro and is a great place to do sports, chill and enjoy nature. Even though the park is more less in the city it feels like another world outside the city. The Park is a little more wild than you would expect from other city parks, but the wildness makes the park seem more natural.

A great place to spend time with your family or friends. This park is huge, perfect for cycling, running, or any other sport activity. There are some tables available to have a mini-picnic. There’s a beautiful lake, you can rent a small boat, as soon as I remember it’s about 8€ per hour. It has so much to offer, so better to go in the morning, to be able to do as many things as possible.

Lovely place to take a stroll in the shade , bars and restaurants to sit and have a drink and watch the world go by. Ice cream vendor selling cold drinks, the area is expensive though so be prepared to pay extra

We walked in the area at night and saw a dude with a baseball bat, I felt so safe and welcomed here

Quasi desert landscape on the outskirts of Madrid. Accessible by subway. It feels so remote despite being so close to the city. Take the cable car (téléférico) to get there. But take the subway back.

Great place to get a trail run in for a visitor to Madrid. There is over 100kms of tracks and paths available to either walk, run or ride with some nice views of the city. The park is only a few metro rises from the city centre.

The greatest part, since the park is so huge, it’s never overcrowded. You can easily find a private spot and picnic.

Casa de Campo is miracle for me. Close to center of Madrid you have great park with everything, what you need. Calm places full of nature or crowded places with Parque de attractions, Zoo or aquarium. I love this place and next time in Madrid, I will definitely visit it again.

Beautiful park, one of the less crowded in Madrid. Would definitely suggest for a solo walk or run, a picnic or just exploring. Easily accessible by metro at the “Lago” station.

Casa de Campo is huge and wild so it’s hard to really review, however it is full of activities such as the amusement park, playgrounds, and a lake to paddle boat. It’s a nice park to spend the afternoon.

Great park . Good nature trails including a funfair , hiking trails, cyclists haven , easy to get to on the underground from the main city side of Madrid, there is a camping site and in May was very quiet, but hot enough . They do have a large swimming pool complex now adjacent to the underground station . But I had no time to try it .pics look good though

A great park almost in the city center. An amusement park a zoo and aquarium are located there as well. Great for walk, picnic or bicycle ride...

A wonderful part to hike, run, or bike ride for hours. I hiked to casa de Campo I was impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the park. I couldn't believe I was in the middle of Madrid. If you have the time, go get a street bike and take a tour. Or go pack a picnic basket and go for a leisurely walk, picnic, and nap in the park.

  • 4/5 Shelby W. 3 years ago on Google
Massive outdoor space with lots of nature and places to exercise and do sport! 4* because there is really no grass or soft greenery to sit on anywhere (just a bed of pine needles, dirt, or rocks as the floor) which doesn't make it an ideal place to go and have a picnic or sit around with friends.

A big huge park, nice for running or bikers. A big slice of Green in Madrid with a small lake as well but lack personality, it is more like a labirinth than a park. And if you think you can park there easily, remember, just go there with public transport, a taxi at best.

We came on Thursday during the day, everything was closed, there were barely any other people, amenities looked abandoned. Not sure if this place is "alive" on weekends or it was due to covid. Anyway, it can be nice escape from city rush and you can see some views of the city.

Looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Madrid, I stumbled upon Casa de Campo - and what a find it was! The vast expanse of greenery was perfect for my bike ride, and the serene atmosphere was a welcome change from the city's noise. With numerous trails to explore and picturesque spots to rest, this park is a must-visit for any nature lover. I can't wait to return to Casa de Campo to experience more of its natural beauty.

It's clearly rundown at some attractions are in need of renovations. Main advantage is it's less crowded than Park Warner. The waiting times are low during a weekday. You can repeat each attraction multiple times. The fast pass is not really necessary on a weekday. Went on a Monday in July.

Beautiful! Although it rained and after the sun appeared, I had lot of fun. It costs €8 to take de boat (oct/2023) and there wasn't line (no waiting) so I rather take the boat in this park than in the "Retiro Park" (too many people).
