Expensive and not good food. And then I was charged for an item I didn’t order and was made to pay. If you are able- run in any direction away from Dixie. It was a third more than it should be.

Do not go here, they try to call you in for a seat if you look like you are looking for something and then serve you the worst food! The meat was too hard to eat, everything not seasoned and blant! And the waiters have a bad attitude. Do not recommend and sad for the great city - I never had this experience in any other place in Madrid!

Ok so I got done. 15.5 euro for fried egg, Bacon, a coffee and a orange juice. Bill was delivered verbally in Spanish with no receipt. I notice desanyos special (egg, bacon and a coffee) was supposed to be 5.25 and orange juice was supposed to be 3.5 euro from sign on wall. So looks like charged double. Be warned.

Normal place to eat something normal and fast. Not expecting the finest cuisine, the staff was nice enough and we had a delicious ensalada rusa. We did pay with credit card without problems.

The coffee is terrible and the cost is unbelievable we paid 6 euros for it without drinking it.

Absolutely 💯 love this place. Compared to another, nearby Cafe, Dixie Bar's food is way better, bigger portions, and less expensive. The atmosphere 👌.

The staff charged us twice saying the payment didn’t go through the first time. After showing my transactions they backed down and refunded one payment. Be very careful!

We ate here since we were so hungry and didn't really took the time to see the reviews. Oh boy I will never eat somewhere without looking. The food is too pricy and the taste flavourless. Don't recommend it... And yeah the no card thing is bothersome as well..

Service was nice but ordered the paella with meat, it came with two small pieces of steak and one chicken wing . Also a ton of seafood bits in the dish (like claws and shells) which is very alarming considering there is suppose to be no seafood in the dish. Definitely don't come here if you have an allergy. Taste of the food was ok but apparently the potato salad is good. Edit: just took another bite and bits of sponge was in the dish...

Poor quality food and small for the price. Service was disrespectful and unprofessional (tone and responses used towards us were very rude). Really disappointed in general. I definitely do not recommend this place and would strongly encourage anyone to avoid it.

Very bad food. Paella was not how Paella is made, (im from Valencia, it tasted nothing like paella) calamari was like rubber, Bravas were not how Bravas should be. A small mixed plate of meats and cheese cost €25. Very expensive place.

Food wasnt bad, the service was ok, though it took a while. The atmosphere was bad we sat on the side where every other table was smoking. Old ladies smoking and playing cards. Definitely a local hangout. We had 3 small plates two cokes for 42 euro. Had the octopus (good but small), the patatas (just ok( and the choriso (way too greasy)

Miserable waiters, awful coffee, orange juice from concentrate. Seating area reeks of urine. Attempted to charge €14 for two orange juices and two coffees. AVOID.

No point to take a drink there, over price, rude service, no hello, no good bye, we went with a baby sleeping, 2 times the waiter hit the stroller without any excuses, run from this place

I have no words - they have 2 different menus (with different prices) for an initial order and a final price/bill. See the attached photos. I thought that there was a mistake in the calculation, but they are just frauds.

😠 It’s rare to be spoken to so rudely in a city as wonderful as Madrid. We were a party of 8 that the lady refused to seat until everyone was present. 5 of us were already there and 3 yet to arrive. She claimed that it was impossible to seat us all together despite the terrace being almost empty as yo...
