There’s only one word: Wow. From the minute I stepped into the place, I was amazed and enchanted. We went in on a recommendation by close friends, and it’s an understatement to say it exceeded my expectations. Run by amazing people who not only know how to come up with a great concept *and* execute it even better, but also how to make a real connection. Cocktails are amazing (saying as a former bartender) and come with a moment of reflection — which is quite valuable, let’s be honest with ourselves ;-) La Santoría is an experience you emerge in entirely. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Truly one of the best experiences I’ve had at a bar ever. Excellent cocktails but more importantly super knowledgeable staff who are thrilled to share the stories behind every drink. I hope they visit New York soon!

Amazing bar. Incredible all original drinks that you choose based on sensations rather than flavors. The atmosphere is totally unique and the people here are clearly very passionate about the concept. The music was gorgeous and rounded off a lovely evening. Can't recommend this place enough.

I really liked it, I really like the vibe of the place. It is arranged a bit chaotic, in a good way, but the whole atmosphere of the place is very calming and relaxing. The point and the story behind the drinks they offer and the way you should choose your drink is really different and I really liked it, and the drink I got at the end was really something I would have ordered otherwise and I really liked it. The staff is extremely kind and approachable. I definitely recommend.

This bar is a whole experience, the concept is so cool. You choose drinks based on feelings and ‘intuition’, the staff explains it very well. It stuck with me long after my trip to Madrid. The atmosphere is cosy and private, would definitely recommend.

Excellent stuff. You could tell that there was love and care put into everything, from the ambient to the decor and drinks. Bernardo was particularly warm and welcoming, and he was more than happy to walk us through the menu's concept and chat with us about the drinks and what made them particularly special. Probably my favourite bar in Madrid right now.

so happy I stumbled across this bar! the entrance is a bit hidden but it contributes to the whole vibe of this place! it’s super cosy and the service was 10/10. Very different from every other bar. If you’re in Madrid, it’s definitely a must visit.

The best bar we visited in Madrid! The man who served us and told us about the Mexican culture and idea of the "potions" was so nice and spoke great English! The cocktails were tasty and were around €10-14 each. The cocktails come with pendants which indicate how they will help you- the Lucky Strike cocktail was delicious.

Such a cute place. We waited no more than 15min to get in. The service was great as well as our drinks. Loved the decor, very unique. Would definitely go back!

A very exotic bar where you can enjoy many original cocktail. The atmosphere and concept is unique and the staff is very friendly. The prices are according to quality cocktails around 12-14€. You can get some random souvenirs which is also funny.

Amazing little hide out. They don’t sell cocktails, they sell potions! And they’re mighty strong but tasty! Managed to go through the whole menu and then crawl out the door. Tarrot reading to top it off for 5 euros. Certainly a must go!

I can't praise this bar enough to be honest. The place is a hidden gem! The cocktails are delicious (I asked for a non-alcoholic version, and it was amazing), and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The decoration is so unique, I guarantee you'll spend the first few minutes scanning the room, speechless. It's a guaranteed crowd pleaser, a great conversation starter, and a sure place for a special date or just a great night out of tasty drinks. Highly recommended :D

Really cool and unique bar! Worth stopping in while you’re in Madrid. Our server took time to explain the concept to us, and the drinks and small bites to eat were delicious. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay long but it was a nice stop. Great area as well (cute shops nearby). Good for couples or small groups. Reservations probably recommended because it’s a small spot.

Perfect place for a date! Very dark, cozy and unique. It’s ALL about the drinks here. It’s a cool concept. Their drinks are “potions” where you pick a drink depending on what you need/want more or in life: like “inner peace”, “thrive in love” etc. I will definitely go back!! 🍹and oh, you won’t see the door from outside, it’s hidden.

By far one of the best places we've been for drinks anywhere in the world, let alone Madrid. You want a decent gin & tonic or martini, go to the closest bar you can find and grab one. But if you one of the most unique, one of a kind cocktails...GO TO La Santoria!! Of all the top cocktail bars in Madrid, this one had the most incredible drinks, created by the most passionate and caring owners. Every drink has its own story, history and it's own personality; not to mention an amazing charm to take away with each drink to remember your amazing experiance.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had, as far as a bar is concerned. You can see in the details that everything was thought out and there is a lot of love in that place. Mariano was amazing explaining everything about the bar, drinks and also his personal experiences from his travels. I highly recommend it if you want to go somewhere with personality and live a different experience.

One of my favorite bars in Madrid! The drinks were phenomenal, the hosts/servers were very accommodating, and the theme was really cool. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

WOW! This place is special and so unique. From walking in to leaving we were blown away to be honest. I loved the story/purpose behind the theme and the special touches, explanations of the drinks etc it made it all more of an experience than just going to a 'regular bar'! The cocktails were amazing, the decor was so cool, I loved the lighting and well everything! When back in Madrid i'm going back for sure :))

What an amazing experience. These guys are passionate and incredibly good at what they do from their unique take on cocktails to their snack menu, bothe the corn and tofu were amazing we recorded. Listen to what they say and follow their instructions when it comes to choosing a cocktail because that will enhance your experience. I hate whisky that night I drank it. What a night thanks so much will definitely return on my next Madrid visit.

The best, coolest bar we’ve ever been to! The bar is hidden and disguised as something else from the outside, you ring a bell and one of the lovely owners comes out to greet/seat you. The way the bar is decorated and designed has you looking around mesmerised the whole time you’re in there. I’m not actually a big fan of the taste of alcohol, but the 3 I had were genuinely the nicest tasting cocktails I’ve ever had, especially the one with banana in! The 2 owners are so lovely and chatty and explain the story behind their bar, and their little dog Mandarina is adorable and so friendly. This is a must visit bar and an unmissable experience!! :)

Great cocktails, friendly service, impressive decoration and fun/engaging storytelling. We ordered some food with the drinks and it was a really good surprise! The hummus and the tofu skewer were incredibly delicious (none of us were vegan or vegetarian but we all love them). Would definitely recommend it!
