Do not stay at this hotel, probably one of the worst hotels I’ve seen in my life. Such a shame, since the other Petit Palace (Icon) hotels are so great. It doesn’t even feel like a hotel, its more like an old looking motel that smells like cigarettes. We were checking in and two men came in and stole our bags (in front of the front desk person), absolutely no security in the lobby and no security training for the single employee in the front desk. Terrible experience.

Service is great. Front Desk will have your taxi ready when you ask them. Rooms are very small.

This is a 2 star at best. The hotel is tired and worn down like the rooms. You don't even get a tea/coffee in the room. I went down to the reception area for a tea and they said I would need to buy breakfast because it was after 7am. We only ended up in this dive because there were no other options available. €690 for 2 nights.

Definitelly not 4 stars. The good: Staff at checkin and breakfast are very nice and atentive. Breakfast meal was nice. Good location. The not so good: Said good morning to the person doing the housekeeping at least on two different days didn't get a reply back. Housekeeping didn't replace/supply toilet paper on two different days. How hard is it to make sure there are two rolls? Housekeeping also decided to barge into the room at 8AM and at 9AM only to find us sleeping, and wake us up. Next day we put the don't disturb paper up bit this was also a first for a 4 star hotel. The bathroom didn't have a bath or shower, just a curtain in the corner and a hole to let the water out so all bathroom floor was wet by the time the four of us had showered. Add loose floor tiles to that. The breakfast room is in the basement, it has no windows and can become very noisy when busy due to this. I must say I expected better, if I weren't on vacation I would have left on the first toilet paper "outage". Yes I could have asked for more toilet paper, but I refuse to do so at a so called 4 star hotel.

The staff at the hotel were excellent. They were pleasant, helpful, patient. The breakfast area was very nice, and the food selection was excellent and was of high quality and taste. The condition of the hotel itself left something to be desired. Coming from the United States, I would rate this at no more than a 3-star Hotel. The accommodations were in bad need of updating. The Reception Area needed to be updated. The hallway carpets were in poor condition. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable. The bathrooms lacked privacy, being enclosed by glass. For a family traveling with children, this was quite awkward. Additionally, the bathroom Had A peculiar odor. The location of the hotel was excellent. The surrounding restaurants were terrific. The location is safe. I think that this hotel has great potential, but needs some attention.

October 2021 Would not recommend unfortunately. I had a good discount when booking, but at full price the quality/price would have been terrible. Location: great location - if you are looking to stay in the city center this location is great (sometimes a bit noisy at night if you open the window due to bar/club downstairs) Staff: did not have much interaction but everyone was nice during check-in check-out Rooms / bathrooms: here is were the problem comes. Unfortunately serious renovation is needed. You could notice a lot of the furniture was old and in serious need of replacement (same goes for common areas). Gutter smell coming from bathroom (especially noticeable when entering the hall of the hotel). Reading some reviews I see this tends to be a common topic - the hotel responded to one of them saying they were planning to do renovations. That was 4 years ago… Unless you get good discount I would go for other options unfortunately (there are many in the area)

Standard hotel - Can't see why it's 4 star. Halls were quite tacky although room itself was clean. I paid over €400 for 3 nights for a relatively small room which is expensive. you can hear people talk outside, not sound proof rooms. No kettle to make hot drinks. Only plus for was the Very good breakfast. I'm sure we could have found a better hotel for less money.

I stayed in this hotel in the past and I booked it again for a trip in October. Unfortunately, I could not make it and the hotel did not want to make any commercial gesture like allowing a stay at another date EVEN THOUGH they had the wrong date of cancellation and thought that the booking was cancellable. The hotel was not fully booked and rooms of that type were still available, so there is no Los of earnings ...Such bad faith... and poor commercial service! Enough hotels nearby to avoid them from now on

One of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had at this good value 4 star hotel with lovely, helpful staff. Good sized rooms with great modern design. The only negative is the single beds in twin rooms are narrow - my friend fell out of bed. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice and pleasant stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast, excellent location. Just two things: 1. they didn't renew shampoo and shower gel and 2. The chair was not at all comfortable for working in the room.

Good hotel located in a nice neighborhood 20 minutes walk from the city center. Friendly staff. Spacious and clean rooms but some of them could need a renovation. Wide breakfast assortment with fresh smoothies and fruit. International and continental breakfast available.

We arrived around 11pm and the receptionist Lucia made us very welcome and suggested places for dinner if we required food. The rooms were clean and had all we required. The location is excellent and close enough to walk to the main attractions/sights. I would like to give a special thanks to Lucia who each day she saw us asked our 6 year old son about his day and what he liked about Madrid. She made him feel very special and gave him a small gift of a piggy bank on our day of departure for him to save up for his next trip to Madrid, she is a real asset to the hotel.

Very very lovely staff, big rooms and clean. Bed is comfy, bathroom is also big and lots of bath supplies. Also in the posh shopping area. Nice restaurants and club near by within minutes walking distance.

My stay at this hotel was great! The service room is good, the cleanliness of the amenities as well as the rooms are also good. The staff members are very helpful in the guest requests. The location of the hotel is great, in a good and safe neighbourhood. I recommend this hotel.

Fine hotel, easy check-in where Coffee available, but no cups. Had to ask. No normal tea bags. Had to ask. No milk capsules. Room had a kettle but no cups, coffee, tea, milk or spoons. Comfortable bed, and very quiet. No bar. Pleasant buffet breakfast. Will use again as the location next to call Serrano was great.
