It’s the worst place I have ever been to. Besides the fact that the food is bad, we had the worst service. They DON’T speak English and they expect us to understand them. When we tried to google translate in order to help the waiter, he started making fun of how we talked and shouting in Spanish curse words (which are well known around the world…). He left and he only came back to our table to shout to us again and this time about laughing and talking. He mimicked our laughs and called us “put@s” while we were trying to understand Spanish. I don’t understand how people like this still work in shops!

The worst decision you can make is go to maestro churrero. I won’t talk about the food which was awful but i will refer to the even worse service. First of all, the cafeteria is located in the centre of madrid but not even one waiter speaks English. However, they expected us to understand spanish and when we didn’t they got mad and started shouting at us. We were five teen girls and the waiter called us “put@s” just because we couldn’t understand him. We tried to help him by giving him google translate but he refused to receive help and after he started speaking spanish faster. He even started looking aggressively at us. Him being fired is the only thing he deserves.

So so so so cute. Would go back again. Wayyyy better than the churros I got in San Miguel market and like half the price. I got the churro bites and it was great. If I had properly looked at all they had, I would have ordered something more exciting. Actually adorable options with "tapas" €1 versions of their specialty churros as well!!! Adorable!!! If course I want a tiny pikachurro???????? The staff were super friendly, amazing service. Overall, better than the places with high prices and long waits.

First of all it’s the worst service I have ever experienced. The waiter spoke only Spanish and he wasn’t willing to help us although I tried to translate what he was saying. Then, he started yelling at us for not understanding Spanish and he also started cursing us in Spanish. I will never go there again and I suggest you not to go there too.

While I typically avoid writing negative reviews, I feel compelled to share my experience with these churros. One might assume that churros can't be that bad, but unfortunately, this particular batch was disappointingly tasteless. It left me with the impression that the churros had been fried in aged oil. To add to the letdown, the chocolate dipping sauce was surprisingly thin and watery, rather than the expected rich thickness. Given my experience, I wouldn't recommend trying the churros here, although they do offer other dessert options. In my opinion, I've enjoyed far superior churros in Australia in comparison to what was served here.

The appearance of the cafe looked really nice and decided to try. I took a chocolate cake and the price was magnificent. I said it better be incredible. Well NO! It was HORRIBLE. It was so old and dry, it was tasteless. I really regret buying it. I just took one bite and.... just no. It was so so disgusting. I am sorry but this is a bad way of presenting your company. Old and dry food. Well it was my first and last time there. Don't know the taste of the other food but if they allow that to happen.... I guess they don't really care.

The line wasn’t too bad but it was worth it, there’s so many options in the heart of Madrid but for a quick sweet stop, this was the place to go. If you can’t speak Spanish, just point at the numbers on the menu, otherwise there’s always another staff member who can help you. The hot chocolate drink is a must especially during winter.

I ordered the classic churros with rich, velvety chocolate, and they were nothing short of incredible. The churros were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just as I had heard they should be. The quality of the chocolate was outstanding, and it truly captured the essence of this Spanish delight. If you're looking to savor churros in Madrid, this is the place to be. I'm already planning return visit for more ot those delectable churros.

Churros con chocolates is life. We came here for the hype, and wasn’t disappointed. Would highly recommend.

I just tried my very first chocolate and churros and surprisingly I have to say that I really truly enjoyed them. Thanks to the recommendation of a the friendly staff Christian. I will definitely be back.

My friends and I had this wonderful churros experience at Maestro Churrero. Their churros taste very good and their hot chocolate was so tasty that you can also have it as a dip for the churros plus very nice and accomodating staff especially the asian lady named Grace. Fay (Geneva, Switzerland)

Very dissapointing experience. We went there because it's a very iconic churreria in Madrid and the service was terrible. The staff is slow and careless. We order decaf coffee and the waiter gave us a caffeinated one. He answered his phone in the middle of giving us our order. Not going back and I do not recommed going there either.

This churro shop is just amazing, the service was excellent the people super kind and smiling and the churros were super tasteful I’m from Greece I’ve tried churros a few times I’m not gonna lie and say I’m an expert but those churros were the best

Came here 3 days in a row for churros con chokolate when we were in Madrid. Churros and poras were always made fresh and they taste divine. And they are also affordable, €2.40 for 4pcs. On top of that, they also have different kinds of dipped churros. One of the best churros I've had in my life.

Miguel was great! Sit outside and order because the ambience is very nice. Ordering inside is a little chaotic. I was happy to have a gluten free churro

Stopped off for churros on the way back to our hotel. We sat outside and were served by Miguel who was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great and the heaters made it feel cosy even on a cool November evening. Churros were some of the best we’ve had in Madrid, would definitely recommend!

They have greats service, Grace was very nice and helpful! Great chocolate! You pay a little extra for the terrace but it is so cosy with fur and the heater in the winter!

I had a really good experience here. I asked the lady if she spoke English and she said no so I used Google translate to order and I received exactly what I wanted. She did try her best to chat in English which i really appreciated. I had the churro bites and a hot chocolate. The churros were fresh, hot and delicious, as was the hot chocolate.

nice churros but nothing special and dosent worth the bad service and rude staff. If you seating there to eat the prices are almost 20% more for the service although you dont get any service, the staff are very rude and unplesent and ignoring many of the costumers.

Really great Porras, consistently well made, hot and crispy. Great value for money. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff are very efficient. Highly recommended.

I was a disappointed. I grabbed a couple chocolate covered churros from the deli case. I was not impressed. They tasted stale. I ate one and gave another to a homeless guy sitting across the street. I hope he enjoyed it more than I did.

I love the Hot Chocolate from this place, it is not dark dark chocolate, it is more like brown and creamy. Very well located, the place is always packed of people, the staff is nice, cordial and quick. Love this place 😍

So go all anything you eat here will be good and has a gluten free option too.
