Warm and friendly staff, nice variation in topping options, and overall really exceptional pizza -- quality ingredients, executed and seasoned perfectly. We stayed a bit of a walk from the main area, but El Gaita was absolutely worth the trip. My highest recommendation.

We had a great pizza in this lovely little restaurant. The pizza is fresh and really delicious. The prices are really good. The restaurant is small and very popular. It is best to book or get there when they open to avoid waiting for a table. You can sit outside depending on the weather. The staff are lovely and friendly. They even helped us book a taxi at 2am on another day when ours to the bus station did not arrive. Lucky they were closing up and saved us. Easy to recommend for the custom service and the great food.

Delicious pizza here last night. The toppings are abundant and you can probably share 1 between 2. More of a toppings-fest than a typical pizza but in a good way. Can choose flavours half and half. Staff were very friendly and took my allergy seriously which was very much appreciated. Fried egg on every slice!

Lovely pizzas and great service! They are large so recommend to share one between two! Also do takeaway so great to pack for treks!

I came for the pizza but stayed for the classic rock music. The pizza was above average and fair priced. The staff was super friendly. Menu available in English.

Really delicious pizza. Excellent rich salsa, nice amount of cheese and a variety of toppings. Pizzas are very big so definitely one between two but they do offer a takeaway if you’ve some left over! Also it’s a small restaurant so having a reservation is recommended.

Very good pizza, service, and ambiance. In the top 5 of pizzas I’ve ever had and possibly #1. Got the arugula, pistachio, mortadella pizza and the crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings were phenomenal. They have an authentic ceramic pizza oven, cozy ambiance off the busy main street, good local beer selection (served it with an icy mug) and had a really good flan for dessert.

The best restaurant in El Calafate. We were stuck here for 3 weeks while our car was being fixed so we had the opportunity to go to nearly every restaurant in town and this was our favorite. The pizza is amazing - probably the best in South America, the people were very nice, there’s great beer, and it was super cute. Go here!

Off the main road, which makes it even better. The service was fantastic, the pizza was awesome, and the complimentary peanuts were a nice touch. Highly recommend!
