Well curated and organized, clean, a lot to see, and comfortably air conditioned. The only thing I found is that every staff member I interacted with seemed unhappy with life. The upstairs cafe needs some love, as we decided not to have a coffee because there was trash on almost all the tables, and the staff was dismissive and just conversing amongst themselves. Either way, just come for the art.

This was an interesting Art Museum with different exhibits. The entrance fee was inexpensive and worth the quick visit. We enjoyed the coffee/dessert & service in the cafe and the view of the park was nice.

Nice museum although it sounds and looks more promising from the outside than what it really has to offer on the inside. I was a bit disappointed with the audio guide. I'm sure the artists have clearly thought more about the design of their art than what is reproduced on the small signs and the short audio tracks. This makes it one of those museums that you walk through relatively quickly without feeling a real wow effect. The building is beautiful and it has a little inside store (with expensive prices). People working there were very nice to me, except in the store. But I think that woman was just on a bad day.

There’s 3 floors of some really cool art. We took around 40 minutes to see it all. You have to pay, but it’s worth it.

The collection is well put together and nicely grouped in themes, sadly the 2nd floor was closed Feb 27 2023 for unknown reasons (likely because we can hardly speak or read Spanish). Also good lunch in the restaurant with Gluten free options (sin TACC)

3.5 stars. It's okay to good. Really only 2 floors with mostly contemporary and post modern art. I think the museum name is misleading. It sounds like the whole history of Latin American Art. It's definitely not that. Modern, postmodern and contemporary art only 900 pesos for a ticket

MALBA this is a lovely museum that is in a beautiful section of Recoleta and easy to digest in a morning or afternoon. The collection is quite interesting with some excellent works by Argentine and other Latin American artists. There is a nice café on the second floor with a spacious outdoor terrace and a small restaurant downstairs, more like a cafeteria, also with outdoor seating at street level. We had a great visit. This museum is highly recommended.

My favorite museum I visited in Buenos Aires. It has a lot of interesting and famous art. Definitely worth a visit. It also has a cafe downstairs with empanadas! 😄

Wow! You must visit this gorgeous museum of out-of-the-ordinary modern art. The collections here are amazing. Some very thought-provoking work can be found within these walls. I especially liked the round mirror suspended by a noose.

Honestly, I was slightly disappointed with this museum. Yes, there's representation of amazing Latin artists but i feel like the overall experience is lackluster. Some of the modern and contemporary art is beautiful and sometimes groundbreaking by seeing artists using mediums in very creative ways but it still left much to be desired. Art is subjective but some artistic art pieces are just complete nonsense. The exhibit is only on 2 floors by the way. I think it's lackluster because there just isn't enough to see. The Frida Kahlo display room is tiny but u can see an original painting by Frida and learn more about her life. This was obviously a highlight for me. It's just a decent museum for me, nothing truly special or captivating which is sad when you look at the overall rating of this museum.

Tickets are half price on Wednesdays, but expect it to be crowded. There was an enormous line for the Frida Kahlo exhibit. Avoid the lunch rush at the cafe!

With a very interesting variety of artists from all over LATAM, this museum is small, but worth the visit. Makes is very easy to fully walk through it.

If you like modern art this is great. It even had an interactive exhibit. Not usually my type of art but ended up enjoying it

We visited on a Wednesday because the tickets are half price. It was well worth it, with lots of cool art. On the top floor has fun and different art including a movie set.

I'm in love with the museum and exhibitions. Well organized permanent exhibition of Latinoamericano art from 20th century. Although I was expecting bigger exhibition containing Fridas Kahlo art. The temporary exhibition included works of Cecilia Vicuna and I was impressed. Architecture of the building is also interesting.

If you are an art enthusiast, I think it's worth a visit. However for me, I do not really understand the modern art that were displayed there, so we did not stay there for long and just looked through the artworks. Entrant fee was quite cheap, ARS3000 per pax, for my family of four, we paid ARS12000. One great thing is that you need to store your bags before entering, which I think is very convenient.

A beautiful place with lots of amazing art. I loved the nipple ball. Be prepared for lots of other people to be here if you go on a Saturday. Sadly I didn't get to see the Frida Kahlo exhibition as the queue was very long. Would recommend it if you are in the area.

A trip to Buenos Aires is incomplete without visiting MALBA. Their exhibitions are great, one is even dedicated to Frida Kahlo.

Wonderful place. Cecilia Vecuña's "Sonar de Agua" made me especially emotional. I love her work in general, both social, artistic and political.
