I recommend visiting it, it is located in the mouth and you can get tickets online. You have the option of having the tour guided where they explain each thing in detail and the work it belonged to or doing it alone.

One of the best attractions in Buenos Aires! Incredible sets, costumes & props from past opera productions at the Theatre Colon. Very impressive! Remember to take some ID for your credit card. Guided tours are not available in English but there are TV screens next to each opera set providing info in English. Fabulous photo opportunities so take your camera!

This is the only museum I have been to where you can touch items on display. Lots of fabulous costumes and set pieces. Our guided tour went for around 45 minutes in Spanish, but the descriptions were also in good English. You can buy tickets online or at the ticket desk. The space is not yet fully fitted out, but the bathrooms are modern and clean, and hopefully the gift shop will be very interesting. Worth the visit, and a short safe walk from the terminus of bus 29.

Absolutely amazing. Beautifully laid out in a massive space. Information and clips from where the set and costumes were used. Never been somewhere you can play with the set and touch it. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to explain things to us. The tours were in Spanish but one of the staff made a great effort to introduce the museum in English which was much appreciated. Massive recommendation. Thanks so much.

A welcome surprise as we had no idea this was the fabrication warehouse for Teatro Colón! Unfortunately they didn’t offer an English tour but they had all of the interesting facts in English via a QR code. During the 45 minute tour (which we signed up for on the spot) we were able to get up close and take pictures with all of the amazing scenery, costumes, and props from some of the popular shows. The facility was beautiful and the staff were friendly. So glad we went!

Great exhibition of the sets from the Teatro Colon with interesting facts in both English and Spanish via online or guided tours. Plus the Boca Barrio it is located at is very real

This is a great place to see how the stage is set up. The museum is smaller than appears on the photos, we spent less than 30 minutes.

Is a unique experience. They have props that were used in the best theaters in Teatro Colon and around the world. They have guided visits every 15 minutes, which is great! Most visits are in Spanish. Mask are still mandatory to use inside the place. You can take a lot of pictures with the props (guides always are mentioning which props you can use, touch, etc) Ticket price is: 600 argentinian pesos (around 3.5 dollars) for the no guided visits and 800 argentinian pesos (4.5 dollars) for guided ones. The only bad thing I can say about it is that they don't accept cash, only credit card. Which let's be honest ends up being a pain in the exchange for us tourists. If you're in LA BOCA neighborhood you need to go to Colon Fabrica.

The place was Teatro Colon's warehouse and it was converted into an exhibition hall. There are still salas that are in the process of being set up. But in general is a nice place to visit. It is right at La Boca, so you can go for a walk after you finish.

It's a nice interactive tour, you get to sit and touch the props. It's interesting to see all the work behind the scenes. It's not a workshop as the name suggests, it's a storage facility with some props on display.

Great place. Very interesting and beautiful to know and explore. It helps you size up all the art behind the Teatro Colón productions.
