I wanted to go for a while and I ended up getting the urge. It is located in the Versalle neighborhood, very quiet. The movie Waiting for the Carriage that was filmed in that house seems to me to be part of our Argentine culture so it is worth going through.

Being in front of the house where the emblematic movie Waiting for the Carriage took place is exciting. The façade is very well maintained. Remember that it is private property. On the way back, in Arregui, is Norita's (for sale)😱. For coachbuilders, a journey impossible not to take. 👍

If you are near the Versalles neighborhood in the city of Buenos Aires, you cannot miss visiting these two houses that were part of one of the most emblematic films of national cinema: Waiting for the Carriage. One of them is the main one, where almost the entire movie was filmed and the other, which is around the corner, is "Aunt Nora's" house. A must-see in Buenos Aires that cannot be missed because it is part of the history of Argentine cinema.

I couldn't enter since no one was at the door. The house and the neighborhood are not as similar as in the movie. Time changed the neighborhood.

Dream fulfilled! I visited the house where the Argentine film GRAN PELÍCULA was filmed with El Genio Antonio Gasalla, China Zorrilla, Betiana Blum, etc.

Please never ever demolish the house, make it a bar with the furniture from the house, who wouldn't even want to have a coffee with 3 sugar in Elvira's living room.

Since I live nearby, I passed by many times, but I had never taken photos, haha. [Coming back from Easy and Carrefour.] 📍Versailles neighborhood 🇦🇷.

I just went to work that day, but I was very impressed by how close and easy it is to get there. It is a dream to be able to be in the place where a historical film was filmed.

The house always remains closed, you can only see it from the outside.

The house is intact, you are asked to take photos and videos, there is a group of "carroceros" who make visits and tell us about the film, production, scenes and costumes. Unfortunately, the house is not inhabited by the owners and they never allowed an internal tour, but there was no shortage of laughter and curious facts when taking the tour.
