Excellent interpretation center, essential approach to the history of the place. Recommended to visit before going to the ruins. And it's free!!!

The information is excellent. It's just that the handwriting on the signs (where they tell you absolutely everything) is very small and not so easy to read.

Interesting museum to learn about the history of this town, before passing through the ruins. Too bad they don't explain anything to you. They invite you to see all the photographs and read their comments Free Admission

In order to appreciate and become aware of what happened in Epecuén, it is essential to understand its history. That is why the museum provides invaluable information that is very useful to later explore the streets of the town that for many years remained covered by water. I highly recommend that before going to tour the ruins, you can stop by the museum and stop for a few minutes to observe, see and read everything that the town was like before that sad moment. In my personal experience, touring the museum allowed me not only to learn more about the place, but also to reflect and redefine what happened there.

I recommend visiting the Interpretation Center before going to the ruins. The tour can be self-guided, we were lucky enough to do it with Ayelén who cleared up all the doubts we had about the history of the place. The tour takes no more than an hour and provides tools to better understand the ruins.

It is advisable to go through the museum before seeing the ruins to see the photos of the place before the flood
