Nice and different experience. Trekking with medium level of difficulty, 3 climbs and took ~3h to go, but worth it !

Beautiful place. View from the lake to glacier is amazing. You can walk on the glacier, but should be careful, because many holes there. Trail is medium-hard level. Better go, when is dry weather, because few times need to go by dirty places and at one of them cross the river

Moderate to difficult hiking, steep climp in the end. No special equipment required, just a good pair of boots

Amazing trek! We took our time with plenty of breaks, lunch and a photoshoot at the glacier which was just us, total roundtrip 7.5 hours. PERFECT easyto moderate hike! You do NOT pay to enter here and the trail has the best markers I have seen. You walk over many homemade bridges so is not accessible friendly, I would recommend walking poles for balance and when going through the muddy and wet parts (however plenty of wood to fine your perfect walking stick). We walked through many different landscapes I highly recommend if you live for nature.

What an amazing place! The hike takes about 3 hours each way and it is totally worth it! The scenery is beautiful along the way and the Laguna do los Témpanos near the glacier is a great spot for a break / snack. The hike is of moderate difficulty with quite a bit of elevation and a few muddy spots, so it would be a good idea to wear proper hiking shoes. Enjoy!

I took a bus from the city to a bus stop where the street begins (from there walk 1 hour, take a taxi or Hitchhike) the trail to the glacier took me 2 hours up. The glacier is a hat you see on the picture. Not soo special but the way is nice cause the trail is beautiful and goes at some points straight or a bit up. Recommend it.

Beautiful trek. 3 incline sections, probably will be muddy... I'd say medium difficulty. Absolute must visit.

Great place to visit...but study well the weather before going...with rain it may became dangerous due to the slippery mud...

After a short walk, you get to a lake and glacier you can actually touch.

No guide needed.. just follow the trail and make your way up.. not easy hike, and you need to rent the crampons from the city.. prices between 3,000/4,000 pesos (December 23)
