There’s
rain
in
the
forecast.
What
do
you
do?
BOOK
the
“Night
Bike
Tour”
with
Dario
for
a
truly
unique
experience!
This
was
the
first
time
both
of
us
rode
bikes
in
the
rain
at
night
in
BA.
And
trust
me,
going
for
it
was
way
better
than
sitting
home
watching
Netflix
and
eating
take
out.
Dario
was
prompt
and
prepared
with
well
maintained
bikes,
that
were
easy
to
ride,
equipped
with
lights
and
helmets.
(Tip:
Plan
to
take
a
lot
of
photos
with
your
phone
and
put
a
GoPro
on
your
handlebars
or
helmet).
It
only
rained
about
15-20
minutes
total
during
the
3
hours.
The
wet
streets
were
still
safe
to
navigate.
Mostly
flat
terrain
the
entire
way.
The
city,
and
its
landmarks,
took
on
a
completely
different
vibe
and
look
under
the
city
lights,
covered
in
water.
I
had
the
most
amazing
lentil
based
veggie
burger
at
the
24
hr
food
trucks.
And
Dario
knew
exactly
where
to
warm
up
/
dry
off
at
nearby
HVAC
fans,
while
sheltering
from
the
down
pour.
His
passion
for
biking
and
his
knowledge
of
the
history
of
BA,
its
architecture,
politics,
and
religion
is
unparalleled.
He
truly
provided
a
crash
course,
‘master
class’
level
experience,
that
left
me
more
in
love
with
the
city
than
I
was
and
with
an
unquenchable
desire
to
return
to
Argentina
asap!

Esta
fue
la
primera
vez
que
ambos
montamos
bicicletas
bajo
la
lluvia
por
la
noche
en
BA.
Y
créeme,
ir
a
por
ello
fue
mucho
mejor
que
sentarse
en
casa
viendo
Netflix
y
comer
comida
para
llevar.
Darío
fue
rápido
y
preparado
con
bicicletas
bien
mantenidas,
que
eran
fáciles
de
conducir,
equipadas
con
luces
y
cascos.
(Consejo:
planea
tomar
muchas
fotos
con
tu
teléfono
y
poner
una
GoPro
en
tu
manillar
o
casco).
Solo
llovió
unos
15-20
minutos
en
total
durante
las
3
horas.
Las
calles
mojadas
todavía
eran
seguras
para
navegar.
Terreno
mayormente
plano
todo
el
camino.
La
ciudad,
y
sus
puntos
de
referencia,
adquirieron
un
ambiente
completamente
diferente
y
se
ven
bajo
las
luces
de
la
ciudad,
cubiertos
de
agua.
Tuve
la
hamburguesa
vegetariana
a
base
de
lentejas
más
increíble
en
los
camiones
de
comida
las
24
horas.
Y
Darío
sabía
exactamente
dónde
calentarse
/
secarse
en
los
ventiladores
HVAC
cercanos,
mientras
se
refugiaba
del
vertido
descendente.
Su
pasión
por
el
ciclismo
y
su
conocimiento
de
la
historia
de
BA,
su
arquitectura,
política
y
religión
no
tiene
paralelo.
¡Realmente
proporcionó
un
curso
intensivo,
una
experiencia
de
nivel
de
'clase
magistral',
que
me
dejó
más
enamorado
de
la
ciudad
de
lo
que
estaba
y
con
un
deseo
insaciable
de
regresar
a
Argentina
lo
antes
posible!
