Good decent hotel in Vrindavan, there aren't many branded hotels here. The rooms are clean but the beds are lumpy due to daily use. Check in took a lot of time, otherwise the staff is courteous and helpful. Food quality is good. There is parking available inside the hotel boundary. But the hotel does require renovation beds & linen needs an upgrade they've been overused and it shows. It overall does hamper your stay and quality of sleep.

Overall decent hotel. Cleanliness needs to be improved. We had issues with room cleanliness. But they staff were eager to help us. (Of course tip goes a long way). Food is also decent. A lot of staff to attend to. Not walkable at all.

I wish we had zero star options here ... worst pathetic management at the reception who are absolutely good for nothing ..if you are thinking you will have a good relaxing check in then pls don't book this hotel. I strongly suggest you put in your money to book much better hotel and experience. Save your self from the harassment here . Their customer service is below average and staffs are very arrogant . After seeing the response from the Hotel ,I still wonder if they even understood the review. It's not about tariff / rooms / breakfast .... it's about the management and how they tackle the situation and their kindness in handling a situation.

Not a good experience because of irritating reception guy and cold hospitality. His behaviour was rude . He should greet guests with smile who are staying with them. While checking out also, a gentle lady was assisting . He spoke in between while he was attending some other guests which was not his job . We think hotel owners should get involved since they did huge investments and these kind of people bring losses in long run.

The room service is terrible. Don't at all. Expect no matter how cold outside it is you're gonna get hot water here to have a bath. Literally this is ridiculous. I recommend please find a better place if you're looking for good service and especially when it's so cold 7° outside, you expect hot water in your room to have a bath I literally had to call for a bucket and make hot water in the kettle and pour it in the bucket. A couple of times to have a bath. The worst experience ever

It was a nice pleasant stay overall. Good comfortable rooms with excellent breakfast. Good staff and room service. The only two things which brought the experience one point down were Firstly there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom which stinks in the night. Inspite of closing down the washroom door. The odour kept disturbing whole night. Secondly the AC was not compatible. If there was a ceiling fan in the room, it could spread cool air all around. Rest was all beautiful with great ambiance.

Rooms are ok. Air conditioner does not work half the time. Bathroom amenities are very poor, shower does not work properly, faucets are all rusted. Breakfast tastes ok but not much to choose from. Not worth the tariff at all.

This is an amazing Hotel but little offside from Varindavan but if you have your own vehicle then not an issue at all. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. In room dining food was not good and sent wrong items in the Order but everything you eat inside the restaurant is delicious. The ambience is also great at the gallery and Dining area.

Horrible experience, the whole property needs maintenance, bathroom and room are kept so dirty with spider web, the bed lower mattress doesn't have cover they liked so filth dirty, bathroom flush, mirror, washbasin corner was broken. We had asked for triple occupancy, the extra bed they placed was broken and they changed the bed and the second one was also broken, i didn't want to take a risk for the third damaged bed so i placed the mattress on the floor and slept. They called us for evening tea, saying it's complimentary and when we went there super excited for the tea, we were served with 30ml of tea and everything else chargeable even the cookies. So better order in your room. The dining area sitting upholstery is superbly dirty. The staff had one face, they don't respond to any thing.

We stayed in the hotel for two days . First there was no bathtub even though it was shown in the picture. The breakfast was mid . The prices were really high for room service and the food was not good . Overall not recommended

Strength of the property is senior staff particularly GM and the dining staff. Restaurant is well organized, kitchen staff is courteous and the buffet is exceptionally great and delicious. The rooms needs renovation. BUT the front desk staff needs lot of improvements . Local boys at the front desk are harmful for the portico. These guys doesn't know politeness and hotel protocol.

We did a walk in check in and while we did the formalities; they had our rooms ready with an extra bed. Our entire stay was comfortable and warm because of the staff. The travel desk guided us well, which made our trip comfortable and easy. I think the bathrooms need a little maintenance, otherwise what service and warmth!

Overall experience was good. Staff is polite. We checked out one hour late but were not charged extra. We booked one room with three bed. When we entered third bed was missing. Seems busy season and someone like us checked out late. However the extra bed when brought in was very very ordinary folding bed. It was unbalanced. Tilting to one side more.

The place is a bit on the expensive side, however it is indeed one of the best available options . Rooms are clean and services are above average. The location might not be ideal because it is a bit far from the main temples and the only options for travelling are e-rickshaws and autos that charge a lot even for small distances.

I recently made the unfortunate decision to book this hotel through Agoda, and let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Everything seemed tolerable until we reached the checkout process, which turned out to be a complete disaster. Brace yourself for the horror story I'm about to share. As my guests were preparing to leave, the cashier had the audacity to demand an additional payment of 1200 rupees. Can you believe it? Not only did they spring this surprise charge on us, but when I politely requested to handle the payment myself since I had made the booking for my guests, the staff responded with the utmost arrogance and refused my reasonable request. Instead, they insisted on collecting the payment directly from my guest, who was standing at the hotel reception. The level of rudeness and unprofessionalism displayed by the cashier was beyond belief. It's as if they took pride in being as obnoxious as possible. Is it too much to ask for a modicum of respect and understanding from the staff? Apparently so. I never expected to be treated like a nuisance for a simple request during a checkout process. To add insult to injury, when I escalated the issue to the manager, Mr. Mohit, hoping for a resolution, he proved to be just as inept and uncaring. Rather than addressing the matter promptly and efficiently, he insisted on subjecting us to unnecessary formalities, dragging out the process and wasting our valuable time. Clearly, customer satisfaction is the last thing on their minds. The entire ordeal left me utterly dismayed and disgusted. It is unfathomable that a hotel would employ such untrained and unsympathetic staff, who clearly have no concept of customer service. Their incompetence and lack of professionalism tainted what could have been a somewhat decent stay. I implore the management of this atrocious establishment to take immediate action. Invest in proper staff training and instill a sense of respect and empathy in your employees. Remember, guests are the lifeblood of your business, and such horrendous experiences can have lasting effects on your reputation. To sum it up, this hotel gets a solid 0/5 rating from me. The abysmal checkout experience, coupled with the rude and incompetent staff, has left an indelible mark on my memory. Save yourself the agony and stay far, far away from this dreadful place.

The location of the hotel is good. The rooms are clean, the gym is neat and clean. It's a pure veg hotel and the food is good. We can easily get eRickshaws outside the hotel. The only issue is they charge 4x or 5x. So be careful while you board them.

They have Professional team as staff. One of the best is their guest services. A quiet place and had good sleep Pros: Excellent guest service Spacious room Wash room has everything you need Quiet place Free High Tea session with story telling High class restaurant inside hotel (Tripti) Food was excellent. Have an option of buffet or Ala carte Cons: No fan in the room A/C controller not working Power goes off and on frequently Expensive ? The cons were not so much of a trouble. It's a great place to stay and highly recommended

Had a very pleasant stay with family at Nidhivan Sarovar Portico, Vrindavan. Comfortable and clean hotel. Amazing vegetarian breakfast - not to be missed! Great in-room dining options as well. The only issue we had was a smell in the water/washroom, but the friendly and helpful staff made up for it, and they provided bottled drinking water in the room so that was not an issue. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel is very neat & clean, staff is polite & welcoming, rooms are good, hotel is reasonably maintained, food is awesome: breakfast, lunch & dinner. Lots of varieties are offered. Distance is far from temples. Overall, I strongly recommend.

One of the best hotel options in Vrindavan in 3-4 start category at a peaceful location. Staff, services, food everything is nice. They have fitness centre, very good restaurant, saloon but no pool. Commute between hotel to key temples has to be managed on your own with few options like e-rickshaw, walk. No specific views from the hotel. They have a banquet and an open garden which can host a decent gathering whether for parties or business purposes.

The restaurant is too bad with no taste. We had buffet on a Sunday which is considered to be a special day for such cuisine and spread. Would recommend not to have food here for value of money they charge. Better to have food in local shops with great taste and fair pricing.

Hotel need some serious maintenance, it has drainage problems. We changed rooms but problem remained same. Sink has water leakages and hotel organised plumber and he fixed the issue but then on time of shower we realized water is bot draining properly. But sadly there were bad stink smell and cleaning issues which I felt I made a wrong decision. We asked for iron and staff gave us really bad condition one I would attached photos. They also didn’t have my booking when I arrived even though it was done on booking.com. Food was average. Hotel concierge parked my car on main road when I came back later in the evening even though there was empty parking spaces inside. Little things makes a difference. Never going back there again and never recommending to anyone.

Recommended!! In small cities like Vrindavan and mathura, these people are giving 5 star like services and hospitality. Their rooms were quite comfortable, nice and clean. We enjoyed our half board meals as well which was a buffet system for breakfast and dinner both. It’s a pure vegetarian hotel and the quality of food is also excellent. Lots of food options available for vegetarians. So, plan your next trip here for sure.
