A very large, traditional pub, not to be confused with its smaller neighbour with the same name in Willian. Really nicely appointed in dark wood, with log fires and lots of different seating areas. The restrooms were spotlessly clean too, which is sadly a rarity these days. Would have preferred more choices of real ales (only Doombar and Harvey’s were on offer on a Sunday lunchtime). Staff were really friendly and so was the pub cat, Reggie! Didn’t try the food as we’d had a big breakfast elsewhere, but would definitely have lunch next time.

This is our third visit to this pub. Sadly every time it hasn’t been great. This time the beef pie had liver in it, and the veg was all dried out and disgusting. Shame as I always hear good reviews about it

Visited today at around 11.30, first time since the referbishment. Had the Full English breakfast which was delicious, plentiful and for only £6.99 a bargain. Staff were amazing, friendly and attentive. Garden is fantastic, so peaceful at quieter times, lovely to sit in and have birdsong in the background. Will definitely become our pub of choice from now on. Thank you.

We visited here for a wedding party which lasted all afternoon until midnight. The staff were absolutely amazing and looked after us all and went above and beyond to make everyone happy. The food was lovely. Definitely a great choice of venue to celebrate an event or enjoy a quiet drink or meal.

Seriously great food, found the timings of food can be a little slow but I understood that the kitchen are still learning the menu to make it perfect. Fantastic customer service and I urge everyone to visit when they have the chance. Such lovely people and the garden is very nice for the summer sunshine! Will be going as often as I can! 5 stars all around.

Great place to eat if you're near Letchworth. Three wow courses for £14.99. Good size portions and well cooked. I had the Pea and Mint Tortellini, give it a try it was wonderful. Great outdoor space as well but it had just rained so we sat in doors, very comfortable.

Came in as a group of 4 all paying separately and the lady behind the bar didn't even sigh once about it. We all ordered some steaks and one fish dish. We all agreed these were some good steaks in unity. They did forget the salt I asked for which meant I had to ask a 2nd time.

Amazing breakfast! Last minute decision for a cooked breakfast with my partner yesterday, saw that the Three Horseshoes opened at 9am and served a breakfast until 11am so thought we would give it a go. First through the door at 9am and greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, plenty of it, very fairly priced. Quite possibly the best bacon I have ever eaten! Cannot fault food or staff, lovely. Will definitely be back!!

This is a 5 star pub. 11 of us visited for a family birthday. Pub has a great atmosphere. All staff are a absolute credit to this place. So so friendly, helpful, attentive. We really appreciate how great they treated us. Then the food. One of the best Roast dinners I have ever had! Amazing value for money. Perfectly cooked. And Lots of it. Most had the Roast and clean plates all round. 1 had the pie and that looked delicious. Puddings, out of this world. I only booked after reading reviews. You will not be disappointed if you visit! 1st time visit. Will definitely be back. Thank you very much a wonderful time x

Can honestly say we've just had one of the best roasts around. They squeezed us a table in last minute and so glad they did! The 2 lads behind the bar were very friendly. Crumble of the day which was rhubarb and plum was a definite winner in my daughter's eye. We will be back!

Very nice pub. Friendly, well priced, good food. One of the dishes had a missing item, but when a staff member was informed they fixed it without question or hesitation. Contender for my favourite pub in the local area.

I don’t understand all the positive reviews. The outdoor tables were filthy, flower beds full of cigarette butts and the manager blatantly ignoring smoking in the non-smoking area. We changed our minds about ordering food. It’s so disappointing as the building is beautiful and it could be amazing - it has so much potential but until changes are made we’d rather spend our money elsewhere.

Lovely pub inside and out! Friendly and approachable staff! Excellent food 😆 lots to choose from ranging from gluten free to vegan and vegetarian! Overall grate place to come and eat or just drink! Huge thank you to all the staff for making my visit special

Went there on a Friday evening for a birthday. Out of the group of 7, 1 meal was good. Starters were all bad especially the prawn cocktail and chicken skewer. The beef pie was dreadful and the hunters chicken inedible. Possibly the worst pub meal out I have experienced.

Went late for a Sunday roast, as it was about 3:30pm and it was very good and nicely priced. Probably at an earlier time when it all just comes out of the oven it will be even better… I was also pleasantly surprised about the amount of doggie products and facilities. Highly recommended! 👍🏼

We went for our staff Christmas do.. most of the staff were jolly and enthusiastic, the table was set lovely and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was ok. The potatoes and vegetables were all hard and the Yorkshire pudding was overcooked so I didn't finish the meal.

We had our Wedding Meal here on a Monday afternoon. The whole experience was perfect. We had 15 guests including children and a coeliac guest. Everyone was accommodated for. The table and chairs were set up beautifully for our arrival. Staff were fantastic and ensured our afternoon went smoothly. Food was brilliant, all guests complimented their meals, service and venue as being lovely and amazing. We highly recommend this pub for special celebrations and/or for a general meal which we have also been for on a Sunday with family. We cannot thank the staff and manager enough for making our wedding day so special. We will see you again soon. Thank You.

Lamb shoulder and cod loin both good, both thin on veggies as was lobster bisque. Lovely chips. Puds great. Service good but experience spoiled by being under a speaker blasting out music (?). Eventually turned down a bit after 3 requests. Quite quiet for Thursday lunchtime.

Very pleased with our Sunday lunch visit to the pub. Not been there for many years. Was given a warm welcome and greeted on arrival. Staff were worked off thier feet but still delivered service with a smile. Can highly recommend the Sunday roast, but you must have a big appetite. I was too full for dessert!!!

I have eaten here a few times and they really are dog friendly. They have dog blankets and people blankets, they have a range of dog treats and the staff gave our dog some treats. The food was excellent both times I have eaten here. A mistake was made on our last visit where we received 3 three cheese starters. The member of staff dealt with this really well. I would recommend this pub to dog owners and non dog owners alike Well Done staff at the Three Horseshoes.

We had a bad experience here. Staff very rude and not interested. Food lukewarm and four of us were sick afterwards. Girl didn’t know how to serve us or look at us when taking the order. Very disappointing. We had to ask three times for a drink. No lights on. My mom couldn’t see the menu or her meal. Wouldn’t go again

This is the place to go for a Sunday Roast! The food is tender, tasty and comes at a good price. You will love it. Make sure to book a seat. The place is popular!

Lovely little place and great we can bring our dog in too. Sharing platter is a great size as pictured. Food was tasty and great selection too!

It's a lovely place to eat and very friendly to dogs. I did wonder if it was a little over priced, but then I did have a steak so perhaps that's an unfair statement. All that being said, the food was all very tasty and served very quickly. I have absolutely no complaints and do recommend eating here.

Stunning venue, awesome staff, chilled area. Lovely for family as well. Definitely going back for Sunday roast.

Highly recommended. Lovely environment, excellent staff and service and food hot, well presented and extremely good value for money. The only negative and it’s a big negative, I wanted to leave a tip and the system didn’t allow that to happen. Owners please take note as I was unable to thank the staff in the time honoured fashion because I like an increasing percentage of the population don’t carry cash. This place is well worth a visit and the manager is to be congratulated in this regard Stephen & Dee - 9 January 2023

This is a great pub with a lovely outdoor seating area. The food is very good, I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was fantastic and my wife had the turkey roast dinner which she enjoyed. They have a nice selection of alcohol. There is plenty of parking too. The only issue was that it was far too hot in there which made most of us feel uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was excellent and I highly recommend it.

Called in for lunch, spacious well kept establishment. Had the chicken, bacon & avocado sandwich with fries or chips, there was so much filling it was a meal rather than a snack and was delicious and excellent value, OH had the steak sandwich which was just as filled. Staff were friendly and efficient and what's more it's dog friendly too!!! Large outdoor seating area for the warmer days. Will be going back as often as I can!! Can highly recommend.

Warm welcome from New landlords Steve & Amy, good to see old staff (Ang) still here and smiling, as well as new staff Katie and Daisy. All friendly, were attentive without being intrusive. Food was well presented and fresh. *hint* spread the chilli butter over all the chicken snizchel as soon as it arrives so you enjoy it over all of it. 😉

What a wonderful evening, we haven't been in since before the pandemic when the kitchen was Thai ( that was disappointing). Staff were lovely, the food was hot and well presented. We ordered the prawn and calamari duo and the southern fried chicken goujons to start, followed by monterey jack & honey glazed bacon burgers and we shared Eton mess for dessert. Will definitely be back and if I could give an extra star it would be thay they welcome dogs. Only remembered to take one picture 😊 sorry.

Went here on Saturday 21st for my Hen Party Dinner. The staff were all so lovely, the food was amazing and everyone was made to feel so welcome! Considering we were quite a big table, all the food came out on time and not one mistake with anyone’s meal! Cannot thank you enough for such a good evening!

We came here for a chilled afternoon and a bit of Sunday lunch. The food was outstanding! They serve both English and Thai dishes, which are cooked by Thai chef's. The service was brilliant, particularly our waitress Ruth. She greeted us upon arrival and was professional, and was just generally lovely. Highly recommending this pub.😊💯👍🏽

Lovely outside area. Managers / owners were not around. The food looked really nice but had no flavour at all so was quite disappointing. The bar man was not friendly and rather grumpy which is not what a person wants to experience when they go out.

Went here for a Friday dinner. Nothing but excellence, the service was quick, polite and extremely professional. The food was beautiful, I had the chicken wings and partner had the satay chicken which was perfectly cooked. I had a Thai curry which was also incredibly tasty and my partner had the steak which was perfectly cooked medium rare with a very generous portion of the best hand cut chips I have had in a pub. Gluten free options were available for my partner, which was great. The drinks were good and it was all very reasonably priced. We are looking forward to going back again soon.

Very warm and friendly greeting and the food was beautifully done. I had the hunters chicken. The coleslaw is home made sweet and creamy and the chips crunchy and fluffy inside. 😍
