No contactless and the cash machine outside is £1.50 to use. Not getting more than 1 star until they can move into using contactless especially during covid... Food was good though!

Poor food chips dry and hard. Pies been left under heat lamp to long that the dried inside and baked lid . Never anything ready and only takes cash . Overall a very poor shop and will look else where

If you want the worst chips in town then this place wins the award by a long shot. Can't believe they justify it by saying the public like the chips over cooked.

If zero stars was an option that's what they'd get my food was delivered 30 mins early while I was still at work so I had to reheat it. I ordered won tons but there must of been a mix up as charcoal was delivered (must be some sort of Chinese delicacy. Not to my liking) I then rang the shop but as soon as I complained the lady on the phone suddenly got a bout of amnesia n forgot all her English lessons. Never again

The noodles and chicken balls was always yummy !! The salty pepper squid was not freshly cooked , must have been repeatedly fried and tasted like overnight left over. Which is a big disappointment when all the other dishes was super yummy. And they only accept cash hopefully they can move to contactless sooner!

Delicious Chinese food, everything well cooked and very tasty. Reminiscent of food previously enjoyed in Hong Kong!

Ordered a Chinese meal for delivery and it arrived piping hot and delicious. The chips and chicken sweet and sour pieces were very crispy and so tasty and perfect for dipping. I liked that the sweet n sour chicken were large pieces of proper chicken breast. I really like the combination of foods on the menu, great choice. Chow Mein with with fish and chips? No problem! The food took an hour to arrive but it was Saturday night, probably their busiest night. I would certainly order from here again.

Our favourite Chinese and were big fans, connoisseurs even! Great menu selection, meat and seafood in mixed rice/chow mein is decent quality, ordered many times over the years and never disappoints!

This has become our regular. Lovely food. So tasty. Would highly recommend. We are vegetarian and they cater for us and give us peace of mind the food is pure veg. Great staff as well as cleanliness.

Terrible chowmein, looks and tasted like tin of Heinz spaghetti, and they've put prices up 30% since last ordered,

crispy duck which isn’t crispy. fried rice that isn’t fried. Chicken fried rice with two small pieces of bleached chicken. spring rolls with nothing inside them, vegetable fried rice with no evidence of vegetables. this really isn’t good enough. this could be so much better if the chef read the menu.

The overall rating really should be higher and is not reflective of the food at all. This is the best Chinese takeaway in Hitchin and their prices are not as ridiculous as some of the others! Staff are friendly, portions are decent and everything is consistent - not too salty or greasy. We had sweet and sour chicken HK style, chicken curry, salt and pepper deep fried king prawns and special fried hofan. The hofan noodles are not the proper wide hofan noodles, they use the thin flat rice noodles instead, but it still tasted good! This is now our new local!
