Delicious Beef ale pie with mashed potatoes and gravy. Great menu and very friendly service. Playground was a plus for the kids!

Loved this so much always clean glass, plenty menu choice and nicely cooked hot meals. Would like to see bit more pudding choice but we're fill from dinner. Staff were fairly quick and friendly too.

Newly moved to the area and decided to go for lunch today with my partner. Overall underwhelmed by the service. We were shown to our table but was then asked to move with our drinks to accommodate a party. Waited 35 mins for our main. When the food arrived no one came to check on us. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks when empty glasses were taken, which we definitely would have ordered. No one came to collect the empty plates, we would have ordered a dessert if asked. I wouldn't say the staff were too busy, plenty of spare tables. Ended up going to the bar to pay the bill. When we left the woman behind the bar loudly asked her colleague if we had paid. Felt like she assumed we didn't, which isn't the kind of people we are at all. No apology given, whatever. Nice clean interior and good menu but I hope this feedback helps the owners. Didn't feel welcome and wouldn't recommend.

We had a lovely meal here tonight with friends. 😍 Food was delicious and service was amazing. Will be back when we are back over.

*PERFECT Every Time* - The food here is good! I tried the Hunters Chicken (toastie) today and damn it was GOOD! (see the picture). - We've never had to wait too long. - You get treated with plenty of respect here, no joke. - The staff are lovely and NOT boring! They're all smiley and happy, which i feel makes a comfortable pub! GOOD JOB Marie, Abbey, Kaigen and Jude! This pub/restaurant also has a NICE BIG garden which is brilliant in the summer! There's plenty of tables and plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. The kids can also play on the climbing frame, swings, slide etc so they won't get bored. Yup yup yup, i love this place.

I adore this pub. It’s always been a favourite (mainly because of the food!). The staff are great and loyal. They’re always smiling and ready to serve. I highly recommend this pub! And I highly recommend their food!

Nice pub! Outside doesn't look too welcoming but inside it's a treat! Bit more expensive than your average Green King pub but the food is good quality (albeit portion sizes are a bit small for the price) Will deffo return

We had a wake today and they catered for 50 plus sitting down. Amazing food and hospitality and friendly staff. Option of garden for outside seating. Very pleasant. Thank you for making our day complete.

Visited yesterday afternoon. Relatively quiet, but difficult to get a drink. Had a sharing platter which was really nice, but after standing at the bar for over 5 minutes with no staff again, we decided to go elsewhere.

I am a picky eater, asked if I could have a mix of items. They checked with kitchen and no problem. Thankfully my friend isn't and he had fish and chips. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great atmosphere, staff were great and the time spent chatting with them was brilliant, great sense of humour. Thank you Corrine, Toy boy Dan and Chantelle. He enjoyed the wee cake as well. X We will be back.

We had a lovely lunch here last Saturday, me my brother and our Mum who was celebrating her birthday, the first since our Dad died. The weather was foul so with not much else to do we turn up on spec and so pleased we did. The food was excellent and served with a smile. Thank you for a lovely birthday lunch 😀

Nice staff, good food, but a table right near the bar had some people who were loudly using the f word, despite children around, with no intervention from pub staff. Not impressed

Really nice pub, great atmosphere and very friendly staff, but a little understaffed for a busy Friday night! Delicious food as well.

It's not very warm, my Mum was very cold and ate for dinner with her coat on. Some meals on the menu were unavailable but what we ordered was lively and very tasty. Good value.

The staff didn't want a tip, but asked us to add a comment on here. The staff are very nice, the food is very nice, ( they didn't have the mushroom pie ) that was a shame. Please go there the menu is very good.

Appalling service! Arrived and order was taken. Drinks arrived in a matter of minutes. After nearly an hour of waiting for our food and seeing the lady who took our order deliver food to tables seated after us I asked where our food was to be told that she had forgotten to put it through to the kitchen and it would be a further 20-25 minutes. She made eye contact several times while taking new customers orders and did not even think “ where is their food”. We also over head the table seated 20 minutes after us being told “roast beef” had finished which is what I ordered so I’m unsure how I’d even have gotten my food if I’d waited a further 25 minutes. Disgraceful and I will never return. Their place wasn’t even busy so there is no excuse. No warranted apology!!!

loud music, kids running the place with no training or clue, basic manners/etiquette poor, bar staff slow (cba to order another drink and wait) not upto usual greene king standard. Salad didnt have all ingredients on menu.

This rating is only based on my last visit. Pre ordered and paid for food and on arrival was told there was no pate starter which I pre paid for. Ordered drinks and food. Drinks never came so I had to re order after a 20 minute wait. Tried the Christmas menu pulled turkey burger. After 40 minutes it arrived and dripped. Don't know if it was grease or butter from the butter chicken burger but the bun was soggy. Overhead another group ordering and the waitress stating they had no mash, no steaks and no prawn cocktail. I must have had the last prawn cocktail but the lemon slice was at the bottom of the bowl and the prawns had their tails on. I ripped them off and quietly hoped the waitress or the chef would notice, but nothing. I used the bathroom and the toilet was broken and there is mold on the walls. I went to pay but my table had no bill due to a waitress error. I stated my order and was then over changed without noticing probably because I just wanted to leave. I want to say that maybe this place is under new management and they are finding their feet. I hope this is the case as I had a very bad experience here.

Absolutely rude lady as soon as she saw 4 Indians walking in. Rude, abrupt, attitude, no smile, no thanks after taking our money, rude and unpleasant face. Just didn't want to serve us. Appalling service in this day and age. Used to be regular customers spending over £100 per week. We walked out after one drink and went elsewhere. Pubs lose. Everyone I know will know about this place

My partner and I went for a meal on the first Friday in December. It was very busy with a couple of large table bookings. The staff were coped well under pressure. The service and food wqs excellent. Special thanks to Lindi who was in charge and was a true professional.

Just popped into here with my partner and toddler for some food on our way into london! The lady and gent who was working was so accommodating and lovely! Food was absolutely beautiful and reasonably priced! Wish this place wasn’t so far away from home because I’d love to go back regularly just for the atmosphere and the staff! Considering even popping in on the way back!🥰

Had an absolutely amazing birthday dinner here. The food was lovely and the staff were amazing. Corrine, who served us, was welcoming and smiley and a real asset to this place. Everyone else was also just as wonderful.

Me and my friend booked a table at the Yorkshire Grey a few days ago after not being there for quite a few years. I'd already looked at the menu online and was impressed with the choice. We had a friendly welcome when we arrived and was shown to our table. Corrine came over to take our order, she was so friendly and chatty, took our order and returned later with our meals which we really enjoyed. Lovely place to go for lunch, thank you Corrine and your colleague (sorry I can't remember your name :( ) we will be back soon . Highly recommend

We visited this establishment this afternoon as a party of 4 without a reservation. The place was empty on arrival apart from 2 people at a large table so there was ample seating to accommodate us. Despite this we were given a tiny table in the extension next to put style windows. You would of expected the heating to have been on being the 2nd half of November but no the radiator next to us was freezing. After the waitress ( redhead) took our order halfway through she rolled her eyes at a member of our party as if she was inconvenienced that we wanted food. After the food arrived we hardly managed to fit it all on the tiny table & they were hanging off the edge. We had no room for drinks because it was so cramped. Also the chips were not cooked whatsoever & some of the order was wrong although after calling out the chips were replaced with some that were cooked. After finishing the meal we decided against having desert because one of our party was obviously shivering so we went to pay the bill £102.03p one of our party complained to the rude waitress about the being given a tiny table when there was parties of 3-4 given tables triple the size of ours & there was still some tables that were still empty & much larger. The rude waitress put on a bizarre voice in response & bluntly said you should of asked to move! I felt disgusted & as if I was being discriminated against. If I could give no stars I would & will not be returning after such an awful experience!

Great Pub but sadly doesn't get given the time of day because of bad past owners. New people are lovely, everything is well priced and tastes good

Went to the Yorkshire grey with my friend as haven’t been for ages. The pub is nicely furnished and clean. Staff are lovely and friendly and happily chatted to us. The food was cooked well and really well priced- lots of offers on throughout the week. We went on Thursday which is also the pub quizz night. Will definitely come again.

Had Sunday lunch here and wow the food was cooked to perfection. Presentation perfect . Was with my friend who is a qualified chef. And we both commented on how good the food was. The service was polite but a little slow it was the only let down. Considering that at the time the restaurant was not full. In the end we had to get up and find staff in order to pay our bill. However would definitely return for the amazing food thank you .

It was my sons 18th birthday and we come from Birmingham but have family in Biggleswade been to u b4 for a meal so wanted to come back food was really nice and it was hot, Daniel who served us and done everything when he was on his own was really good would come back again.

First time rhat we have visited here. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The food was great well presented and cooked well. We will definately return.

Passed through and needed a quick dinner and saw this pub and pulled in. The service was impeccable food arrived incredibly quick and was cooked to an extremely high standard. If I’m passing through again this will be my place of choice for a quick dinner.

I've got the say, myself and my wife really enjoyed this place last night. The environment is really nice, we dealt with three staff members who were all very lovely and professional. Considering that we came here to eat, we were very satisfied with the choices and quality of the food. Overall the service was a great experience. I'd highly recommend anyone to stop by. We certainly look forward to coming back.

First time visiting this lovely pub.I had the breakfast brunch which was delicious and so filling.My daughter had chicken and ham pie chips and veg.Also delicious. The staff were lovely and friendly. Will definitely be returning

Not good. For a start our booking was not put in book. 3 starters run out of, missed 1 meal off our order, £2.25 for dressed mixed salad that was pile of lettuce, 1 tomato and 1 piece of cucumber. Waited for an hour for our dinner. No coffee available.

Been here a couple of times now been lovely the food was lovely the service was great friendly polite helpful and welcoming and the drinks were kept topped up as requested. Hands down my go to suggestion for any one looking for food or drink in town. 10/10 highly recommend!!

The food was to die for, my lamb shank fell off the bone the vegetables topped off with a rich mint gravy had me wanting more.... We also had halloumi which my partner adored cooked in a light batter to perfection..... The staff were warm and welcoming and special praise goes to the Chef Jay who cooked us this fabulous meal.... We will definitely be coming back.....

Nice beer and a nice beer garden. Roasts looked appealing, but I didn't get a chance to try one.
