Best Jewish Deli around…..just the best deli around actually! Great bagels and exceptional lox! You don’t always need the bagels though!!! Love everyone there, hard working line guys always!!!

Hands down one of the best in the Chicagoland area. We had the lox and bagel, pastrami and corned beef sandwiches. Terrific quality and customer-oriented nice service. Highly recommend!

Decently stocked NY bagel and deli shop. Latke fries were uniquely amazing. I must discount the rating pretty heavily because my pastrami sandwich was inedible. All the meat on it was just tough fat/grizzle as pictured. Seems if it wasn’t trimmed properly during preparation. Had to send all the meat into trash and just picked at the rye bread in the end. Definitely order something else if I return.

Bagels were great! Pastrami sandwich was not edible. Fatty, chewy, and gristly. Cup of potato salad was good, pickle too.

Original Bagel & Bialy is a BG institution. Without a doubt they hit every flavor of my ancestors palate and I’m sure a great deal of the community as well. Everyone knows a thick slather of shmear is the only way to get a bagel. Original Bagel & Bialy hits this compliance hard each and every time. The lox is amazing, and I prefer the belly lox. My folks love hot food and I always get a pickled tomato. The pickled tomatoes are green, crisp, and exquisite. It’s a relic of yesteryear with a deli vibe and community mindset. 10/10 on any day.

Great people here, and it’s a family run business! They get to know their customers and contribute back to the community. We enjoy getting bagels and sweets from them on a regular basis. And the low-fat tuna salad is the best around!!

After they MAKE you give your name, first and last, phone number and email… I couldn’t get a $5 bagel and cream cheese because I was told it’s a $10 minimum for a card. This place has mediocre bagels at best, over priced and it was just easier to leave. All the crying this place did for years about Covid hurting them… they make it so easy to be turned off! I’ve made the decision to never give this place my business again. And Lon…don’t tell me you were going to make an exception this one time!!! Stop being the worlds most petty man! Words out in your reviews and people are getting fed up. But you’ll never change. It’s been the SOS for 20 years. Hope your ridiculous $10 cc minimum was worth the loss!

They had the best Reuben sandwich I ever had. The staff was friendly and had my food in a reasonable time. I will come here again. Also I like their sweet and sour cabbage soup.

Just came for the first time and I love it! The Raisin Kugel was delicious and also loved the Latke fries and I was not disappointed. The owner came by the table and was very nice. I will definitely be coming back!

We are so lucky to have Original Bagel and Bialy in our neighborhood!! Not only are they our go-to for chicken soup and other comfort foods when my family is sick- but it is our first choice for catering for holidays and special occasions. Whenever our out of town family is visiting, we bring them here for a true deli experience! The owners are beyond generous to the community.. The staff is helpful, friendly and run things so efficiently!

I would give 100 stars. The employees greet you promptly and are very welcoming! I really enjoys Lex's quesadilla and their cinnamon raisin bagel. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu!!

My mom requested to come here for her birthday lunch. It did not disappoint! Fried matzo, French toast and more were devoured quickly. The BLT on challah is not to be missed. The staff were all very kind and patient with us while we tried to make decisions on what to have.
