First time visitor! With the rain today, I was highly thankful they had a drive thru. Love that the employee acknowledged that I was a first time guest and went through the menu. The portions are appropriate. I ordered one mild slider and fries ($10-11). None of the combos come with a beverage. My food looked amazing! It wasn't as hot (temperature) as i would have liked and the slider seasoning...kinda tasted like taco seasoning; but overall it's okay. I like the bun and coleslaw touch on the slider. Despite being a new restaurant, the Dave's sauce had a date on it of March 2022 and it's now May. I would recommend for a quick bite during a lunch break.

When I first pulled into the parking lot I was quickly impressed with the idea of the drive thru for a more convenient quick meal. Once inside the ambiance of this place is very pop art… laid back with friendly employees. The cashier knew right away it was my first time and he kindly offered to give me a run down of their menu and what it comes with. The menu is small but what they do offer on it is sooo good! I ordered the two sliders extra hot after asking about their REAPER and was explained you have to sign a WAIVER to order it… yikes! Lol… I might still try it one day anyhow! We also ordered plain tenders and another sliders with medium sauce. The sliders where pretty large but the tenders themselves were very big. The dry seasoning and the extra hot sauce I ordered on mine was amazing! For comparison purposes I typically order mango habanero sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings and I’d say the Extra Hot sauce at Dave’s is comparable as far as the level of heat. The fries had a seasoning of their own and it was good. The pickles were a perfect little side to the dish. I will definitely be returning and have recommended to family and friends!

Great service. The chicken was spicy but not overwhelming. Good flavor. Will likely return. (Got extra hot)

We went in on a Friday for lunch, upon arrival it seemed pretty clean and empty. As this was our first time we ordered #3 which was a slider and a tender a side of fries and upgraded to the Mac and cheese. We ordered mild and medium and they weren't much different (not spicy). Next time I'll try the next level! Cashier was very monotone and we were definitely surprised when he swung the iPad and it had tip percentages... we tipped and moved along. While waiting for our food we sat down at a table and though it appeared clean was super sticky...went to the next...sticky. Luckily, it's been unseasonably warm so we sat outside instead. Food was great! Stingy on the fries for sure though. I would definitely recommend trying it.

We were a bit concerned about the "Hot" part of Dave's Hot Chicken. The cashier told us we could or the chicken with no spice, lite mild, or mild. We tried the lite mild, and it was flavorful without stomach issues. I particularly enjoyed the chicken sandwich. We also tried the Tender Bites and Chicken Tenders. I've never been a big fan of crinkle-cut fries, but these were tasty. The restaurant has a drive-thru. I did not like the Togo orders come in Styrofoam.

With my first bite, I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and juicy the chicken tenders were. The size of the tenders were really big and quite filling. I was a bit disappointed with the random slices of white bread under the tenders, they were dry and stale. Fries were seasoned well. I think the best part was the dipping sauce- it added a whole different level of flavor. Overall, great place to experience deep fried chicken!

Probably the best quality chicken in the Chicago area. Accommodating all levels of spice tolerance despite a name that may be intimidating for some. Definitely worth a drive if necessary.

Ordered delivery here twice, and it’s my current favorite hot chicken in the city. The quality of the chicken is amazing, juicy and tender. The spice for the medium and hot levels have just the perfect amount of heat. Tenders are finger licking good. The mac and cheese is also on point.
