Upon walking in, it has like an old school sweets/candy look. I was greeted and given a brief introduction about the shop. There was a large variety of candy to choose from, whether it's for yourself or a gift to someone. Prices depend on what you're getting. Service was fantastic, both of the employees were very helpful and informative. I bought pumpkin cheesecake from Compartes and a collaboration chocolate from Mayana and Candycopia. I have yet to try either but I liked the unique selection from smaller companies.

As soon as you walk in this bright colorful candy shop you smile. Family owned,Candycopia feature hundreds of gummies, nostalgic favorites and a collection of handmade candies from small batch candymakers around the country. We were greeted by a friendly staff who offered suggestions and even gave us a few samples to try..I loved the Swedish Fish jelly beans! So good I had to buy a bag to take home. We tried a flight of small batch caramels..yes a flight of candy! The Sea Salt Caramel was my favorite. Soft buttery flavor . Next was the Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel . The cocoa and sea salt make a perfect combination. Last was the Cider Lemon Caramel.I was hesitant at first but the mixture of honey and lemon cider from Weis Cider House reminded me of a Lemon Shandy. All 3 were excellent. I finished with Manhattan Truffle which was smooth dark chocolate with cherries. Fantastic! If you want to relive your childhood memories at this local candy shop and be treated to excellent chocolates and caramels, this is the place to visit next time you are in downtown Oak Park.

Today, I had the fantastic opportunity to go to Candycopia. As I walked in, I noticed all the color candies on display. They had hard candy, candy from your childhood, retro candy, British candy, Easter candy, bon bons, truffles, caramel, and ice cream. What a fantastic place! Everyone was so nice! Caramel: Sea salt caramel: rich and buttery. Chocolate sea salt caramel: rich, chocolate-y Cinnamon caramel: rich, brown-buttery, honey, hint of cinnamon. This one was one of my favorite. Truffel: Goat cheese and walnut: chocolate truffle that was a tangy from the Goat cheese, and nutty from the walnuts. Also, grabbed a small chocolate Easter Bunny.

Such a great store and experience. I took my three young children and we spent over a half hour exploring all the candy options. I also worked with Candycopia on some sweet corporate gifts, and they were a crowd pleaser!

We walked in just before they closed. It had a nostalgic feel to it. The owner was very kind and even offered samples. They have tons of candy! Definitely worth a shot to stop by if you're in the area!

Are you in search of a one-of-a-kind and delightful birthday party experience? Look no further than Candycopia! They took care of everything, resulting in a fantastic time for all. The kids enjoyed an exciting scavenger hunt, played a thrilling game of hide and seek, indulged in creating their own delicious ice cream sundaes, and even left with adorable tins filled with candy as souvenirs.

Our non-profit rented the Candycopia Candy Cart for our Open House and it was the highlight of the entire event! From start to finish, working with Patrick and his team was a fantastic experience and our guests were raving. The store is an amazing sensory experience and the variety of candy is simply astonishing. Everything from sea salt chocolate caramels to sour prosecco gummy bears to gummy sharks, they have it all. Go check it out and if you're having an event, get the Candy Cart, you will not be disappointed!
