Best pizza in the area!! We’ve tried probably 5-6 spots over the last few months and there’s a couple good spots, but Penguinos is the tops. Delicious breadsticks too. Perfectly crispy crust, good sauce, well seasoned cheese, nothing bland. Tasty pizza through and through!!

Hands down the best thin crust in the Northwest burbs. Pizza was fully loaded with delicious pepperoni slices. The sauce complimented the crust in a great way. Crust so amazing that you could literally eat the edges with ranch or something. I mentioned the book Pizza City USA to the owner and he actually pulled out a copy of the book. Cool, friendly guy who took care of us. Highly recommend this pizza joint if anywhere near the area. We drove 17 miles one way from Chicago to try Penguino's and we both agreed it was worth the drive.

Absolutely delicious pizza. Been hooked on it ever since I tried it and has become my go to pizza spot. The owner is friendly and always fun having a quick chat with him. Don’t usually write reviews for any place I go to but felt like I should since this pizza place is a gem.

Penguino's is the type of neighborhood pizza parlor you always dreamed of having in the suburbs. The thin crust is perfection; with a tasty, high quality sauce and the best sausage I've ever had! I even held off using my habanero honey till the end. The owner is a great guy and I highly recommend this place!

BEST PIZZA PLACE EVER!!!! Seriously, I’ve been on the lookout for perfect tasting thin crust pizza, and Penguinos absolutely has it!! I have gotten it for many events and feedback is always positive from anyone who tries it. Perfect combination of sauce and cheese, very fresh, and the crust is not overwhelming. Not to mention, owner is the nicest - gave me a free coke “just because” on one of my visits. If you’re in the area and you want pizza, this place is a MUST!!

Can you say hidden gem?!? We normally order from a bigger named pizza place in the same area but after tonight my husband and I both decided this was going to be our go to for pizza nights. The dough was nice and crispy and the sauce had a delicious tang to it. It was hot, fresh and super cheesy. Do yourself a favor and order the breadsticks!!! To top it off the staff was beyond friendly and welcoming when I picked up our order. Can’t wait to order again.

We ordered for the first time and wasn't disappointed! We ordered a deep dish, pepperoni, green pepper, and onion. Their crust is perfect, great tasting sauce and good amount of cheese. Definitely will order again. They didn't have fries so they threw in an order of bread sticks which were really good as well!

We had the pleasure of eating a Penguino’s pizza. I’ve never reviewed a pizza place before but I had to because it was exceptional in every way. Our 14" thin crust was crispy all the way through, even to the middle. It was like an expensive cracker you would buy at some trendy bodega. The sauce tasted home-made—not too spicy, not too sweet, just right! The sausage was good quality, not greasy, with no bone bits or gristle like other places, and didn’t have that rancid fat taste. Because it wasn’t greasy, I didn’t need to blot a layer of grease off of it, with a paper towel. The best part was the cheese! How long has it been since we’ve had cheese on a pizza that didn't taste like it was made of dried coffee creamer? One by one the pizza places we ordered from for years turned to this junk, cheap, dry, pre-grated cheese. Not Penguino’s! The cheese on this pizza stretched like vintage commercials, and was soft, melty, rich excellent cheese! WOW! The vegetables were cut so thinly, they were fully cooked, yet retained all their flavor. It was so good I felt compelled to call back and compliment the chef, something I have *never* done before. Add reasonably priced to all this QUALITY with the pleasant owner actually answering the phone when I called back and you’ll understand why I had to review Penguino's.

My favorite local thin crust pizza place! The quality is consistently great and the owner is very nice. I have ordered take out only, and it has been timely as well.

Been coming here since i was little and it never disappoints. There are tons of spots around but Penguino's is definitely the best. Would recommend if you are around and looking for some great pizza!

Did I just find my long lost family?! This place is everything you've ever wanted, and everything you didn't know you needed. Penguino's is family. The absolute nicest owner who will greet you by name as soon as you share it with him. He truly cares about his customers like they are his family. I felt like I was supposed to give him a hug when I left. We ordered the 14" thin crust bbq chicken pizza and bread sticks. This pizza was perfect. I'm not ashamed to admit we ate the whole thing, not because we regularly eat a lot, but because the thin crust allows you to enjoy the flavors and topping combinations without getting full on crust. And it was delicious! I know, then why did we order the bread sticks!? Well, they were highly recommended by other reviewers and who doesn't love a good bread sticks. Am I right? Well, these did not disappoint. They were light and very flavorful. Just the right amount of butter and seasoning. They paired perfectly with the marinara dipping sauce. Listen, go to Penguino's and get a specialty pizza and the bread sticks. Absolutely delicious!

Owner is super Sweet, just like his special pizza sauce. All homemade with the freshest ingredients. I have yet to try the thin crust but if youre looking for The BEST DEEP DISH PIZZA you every tried.. this is the place to visit. The dough is like chewing into a fluffy cloud and the whole thing feels so light yet filling. I swear just writing this out make my mouth water. Of course I had to try a place with a near perfect rating. Owner was really nice. Ordered thin crust. I really appreciated that the toppings were placed and not thrown onto the pizza. Pizza was very good but not the best I’ve had. The crust was just too dry for me, especially the outer pieces. Definitely worth trying though and deciding for yourself.
