Omg. The best, is the best. Super friendly service, from Alex, Kasia, Stella, and even the bar back Will. Had an amazing time. Food has good selection, great music selection, great drinks. Great service and atmosphere. I highly recommend the crab cake bites with garlic aioli sauce so delicious I didn't get to take picture before they were all gone lol.

We recently hosted an event in their private room and we were very pleased with how smoothly everything went! I had excellent communication with the owner throughout the entire planing process and he was very accommodating. Just an overall great experience. The staff was also friendly. The food was good. Loved it! Very cute place, amazing creative food, we had the nest pizza and the highlander pizza. The kitchen was open late with the full menu. Usually bars don't serve food past 10 pm. We ordered at 11 pm. The cocktails were all very good too. I came with three other girls and we surprised each other with random drinks off the feature drink menu, and everyone loved what they got! We also asked the girl at the bar to bring us shots, of something random, and she made us creamy pistachio shots which were totally delicious. There are also three TV's playing sports and we were asked if there was anything we would like to watch, which was very thoughtful of them. The music was perfect for the crowd which was mostly young adults in their 20s- 30s. I will make this my regular hang out now haha. We sat inside, but there is outdoor seating and a larger room in back with a dancefloor, so you can host parties here as well.

Had my first ever client appreciation event here. I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect being that it was my first. Jay and has staff could not have delivered better service. The event was packed out ( very grateful ) and it went very smoothly thanks to amazing bartenders Jay had working and if wasn’t for Jay and his crew in the kitchen we would of ran out of food in the first hour but they worked their butts off and it made me look good. Venue is very nice . If your considering having any event here. STOP considering and lock in your time and date. You will not be disappointed

Our wait staff was awesome! The door was amazing! And the atmosphere was so cool. Our family had a great time! I can imagine this place will be great for a bachelorette party or bachelorette party or some sort of small gathering.

Great location for food and drinks. Great variety of beer, wine, and liquor/cocktails (quality mixers too). Food menu is diverse offering a variety of pub fare like appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, but also salads, tacos, pasta, and pierogis. I had cheese curds & mini burgers and both were excellent - the mini burgers were as well prepared as a full burger would have been. I look forward to trying more of the menu in the future. The staff was also top notch - friendly and attentive.

Pretty cool place. We were there for a private party, between 7-11pm, and the service was good, the buffet was perfect.

We had a private party for my daughter’s graduation/birthday and it was fabulous. The food was on point and Kasha was very friendly and took care of everyone’s drinks. You have the option to cater their food (which was easier and convenient for me) however you can bring your own. The room is spacious and does not need a lot of decor because of the rustic look the ambiance is a perfect setting for any event. You can plug in a phone/iPad and play your own music. A lot of guest were inquiring about the private room because they loved it so much. I will definitely use this location again and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Let me start by saying my server was amazing Stella knows exactly how to prepare a drink. I’m often disappointed when I order a gimlet. She was on spot. I was impressed. She didn’t miss a beat when it came to taking our order as well. The service alone is enough for me to return. Great job.

Jay and everyone at The Nest made my husbands 30th birthday a hit! From the start, Jay was very communicative and honest. He helped us secure the party room less than a month before our anticipated date, he offered suggestions on how to order the perfect amount of food, and he showed us how the room has been decorated in the past so we could get ideas for our event. As for food, the wings, pasta, and pizza were a hit! As for drinks, the prices are extremely reasonable, the drinks are tasty, and our bartenders were generous. The private room is gorgeous with a private bar, a dance floor, plenty of seating, a designated place for food, and fun, colorful lighting. The staff handled everything so we could socialize and dance. At the end, once our decorations were packed up, The Nest handled the rest - all we had to do was go home and fall asleep! I plan on hosting future events here and I would recommend it to anyone!

Place is great and the food is very good. I recommend the southwest chicken wrap with Buffalo. The bartenders are super friendly and they know their stuff.

Jay and his team are fantastic! This is absolutely one of the nicest bars in the neighborhood, and deserves recognition. We have had our company party here since they opened, and we have not changed venues as it is the best place to book your party!

Had a party here for my uncles 50th and it was amazing. Great atmosphere and the owner is truly a diamond in the rough. Such a nice environment to host a party in their party room. I would definitely host another and most parties here.

Went to a private party here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a party space. We had really decent food and stiff, affordable drinks. The area was set up with a nice size dance floor, bar seating, lounge area, and some tables for eating. The location was in a safe area and street parking was available.

Our very first time and was so nice. Food was delicious and service great. The manager even came to say hi to us. Overall a great experience! Definitely a spot to come back again!

**** update**** The interaction described below occurred on 10/14/22, since posting this, my refund appeared in my account on 11/30. So they resolved it. I can still say they have some of the best salads in Chicago. ***** I have ordered and recommended them countless times. They made an error on an order and I was told I would be receiving a refund. Was in contact with them a couple times post order, they never rectified it. I know mistakes happen but if you say you’re going to refund somebody, do it. I can spend my money elsewhere and so I will.

My son requested to have a small gathering for his birthday this year. He chose this place because he always wanted to try it. They were very accommodating for our group of 7. Food options, quality, and presentation were great. Thank you, and see you guys again soon.

The food was okay. Onions ring were good. Fries were obviously frozen and then cooked (not fresh cut). Wings were average. Love the vibe. Laid-back, cute string lights. The crowd is not rowdy. Perfect place to just chill, have some drinks, and watch the game

My sister and I live walking distance from the bar and always wanted to check it out! So we decided to swing by last night, and let me tell you...its so cute, clean and very welcoming! It's the perfect neighborhood bar/eatery place to go for any occasion! The bartenders (forgot their names) so sorry I couldn't remember her name that served us, but she was so kind, personable and definitely made my sister and I comfortable! Also if you like unique cocktails try the smokey pineapple drink! It's out of this world! We will be definitely coming back! Thank you for such a great experience!

Awesome vibes here with BOMB wings … great sandwiches and solid pizza! Kitchen closes at 11:30pm so make sure you make it in time.. it’s worth it. Great spot to try local beers as well

Great neighborhood bar serving a variety of American and ethnic delights for everyone's palette. Tasty Vegetarian options at a good price point. Enjoyable drink options with parkway outdoor seating as well as interestingly designed and lit event space for small to medium events.

I rented the back room for my birthday party in July and everything was AMAZING! The food (especially the penne pasta) was fantastic. My guests wouldn’t stop eating (sorry kitchen). Our bartender was lovely too and J the manager was very accommodating. Their room is decorated nicely, truly a great party space and I was able to have a photo booth. Overall, I would definitely recommend The Nest Bar & Eatery. Thank you all for making my birthday party such a memorable evening!

This is the very First time I been do this place, and the i ordered 2 orders of Perogies and the taste was very bland ; the pizza taste like frozen pizza .thy bartenders were very rude. I do not recommend this at all.

Walked in, pretty good amt of ppl but there were a couple tables empty. No one greeted us, after a minute of standing looking dumb, we walked up to the bartender and asked if we just sit down or… she said yea. We sat down and after 10min, no one tended to us at all. Literally wasted our time. Never again, this was the worse service ever.

Recently had my husbands 50th birthday party in their private party room. Staff was great, Izabella was our bartender and was amazing! Jay the owner is a delight to work with.
