I can’t say enough wonderful things about Gold Creations. My grandparents and parents always swore by them but, until recently, I didn’t have a reason to need a jeweler. Then, I got a beautiful engagement ring and wanted a wedding band to match the band style. I asked a few jewelers in Utah (where I live) if it was possible and everyone told me no. When I came home to Illinois, this was my first stop and they said it would be no problem. They listened to what I wanted, took my engagement ring and called me back the very next day to review the mold they created and make sure I liked the fit and style. Less than a week later, I have my stunning engagement ring and wedding band beautifully forged together in just the style I had asked for. Highly recommend; thank you so very much!

George is extremely accommodating! He's done several pieces for me in the past, and most recently he took care of my wife and I during our anniversary! Definitely recommend over the big brand stores! This place is a rip off and they have ruined my $800 watch. I simply went in to get the back cover of my watch pressed in, " the old rude lady was so cheap and a fraud that she charged me $15 just to press in the cover that took less than 10 seconds. After she did that, the main hands of my watch stopped moving right then and there, because she pressed it too hard. when I asked what happened to it. she blatantly lied and blamed it on the watch and I that the watch wasn't working before I handed it over to her. A blatant lie to my face and she made up any possible lie she could at the time but the fact is that my watcy was now broken after paying her $15 to simply close the cover. I will not suggest anyone going to this place. I always wondered why the place was always empty and rarely a customer is seen in their store. Now I know why it is this way. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Gold Creations in Woodfield Mall is the BEST place to replace your watch battery, take in jewelry that needs repair, and even purchase any piece of jewelry. Their prices are great and reasonable!! Seriously!! The owner and assistant who does the repairs are the nicest, kindest people who I've ever seen run a business. There's NO need for anyone to look any further. You will not be disappointed! I'm so happy that I discovered Gold Creations in Woodfield Mall. They are right next to Macy's, upper level!! Amazing experience each time!!!!!!!

I've been coming to this jeweler since I was probably 10ish years old with my mom. I have purchased several pieces over the years and always take my jewelry here to get repaired or cleaned. I wouldn't take my jewelry any place else. Prices are very reasonable and they do excellent work. The owner is almost always there and looks like he hasn't aged a day in 30 years. I don't know what I would do if this shop closed or the owner retired. I'd be devastated. Stop by there one day, they're located right outside of Macy's dept store on the 2nd floor, you won't be disappointed.

Shady business practices, was judged the moment I entered the shop wearing my work attire. Do yourself a favor, shop with a REAL jeweler. One that will take the time to show you merchandise and explain the differences in quality relative to price. These folks have the “hurry up and buy” mentality. I took my money elsewhere.

I went to the store to adjust the links on my watch. It wasn’t done correctly the first time. I told about this but the man who added the links didn’t listen to me. He was stubborn and arrogant. I paid 18 dollars and came back home not happy. I decided to come back one day later because my watch didn’t fit well and asked about removing one link. Well, it was removed they way I didn’t want. Nice lady wanted to help me to do this my way but very rude man said to her: " No". I felt helpless. They didn't care what I really wanted. They charged me again. Finally I went to another place and the watch was done the way I wanted and correctly. Very unpleasant experience. In addition one of the links was deeply scratched the first time which I didn’t even mention to them because I am sure that the man wouldn’t agree that he did it. It was the brand new Bulova watch. I would not recommend.

We stopped at Gold Creations for a watch battery. While there, I was also able to purchase a catch for my neck chain. The manager on duty was very knowledgeable and was able to answer questions I had about some other pieces. The pricing was reasonable, I definitely recommend.

PLEASE COME HERE! If I had to recommend a business, this would be it. My boyfriend bought me a cute ring after my high school graduation, and I ended up deshapping it and breaking it in half. We took it to Jared to get a repair estimate, and the jeweler told us it would be $100+ (this was before I broke it completely in half, so it probably would have been more). Then one day while at Woodfield with my mom, she suggested asking the guy at Gold Creations how much a repair would be. He said $45. We picked it up tonight, and I could not be happier with the final results. It is back to its original, round shape, it is totally fixed and you cannot see where it was previously broken. The ring was also ready within a few days of dropping it off. This experience was so positive for me, that if I ever need to buy/repair jewelry, I’ll make the drive to come back out to Woodfield so I can bring my business to Gold Creations. great place to buy/sell/watch battery repairs! They do a great job of suiting the customer's needs and not their own. I went in there to buy a wedding band with my fiance, I tried on a handful of wedding bands, but the owner suggested the cheaper wedding band of them all because it fit my personality. I really appreciated that he did that instead of wanting me to buy the more expensive one. The owner really cares about his customers, he values the customers and gives expert recommendations! Highly recommend checking this place for wedding bands, jewelers, watch battery repairs! Great service and great price!

I had a friendly and genuine experience with George and an employee, they were able to educate me on what I was buying, and even demonstrated to me that I was getting my moneys worth on a piece created by them. Upon my own research, I found that they indeed have some of the best prices around! Definitely won’t get a better deal on high quality jewelry from another shop in Wood field Mall. Furthermore, their layaway option is extremely reasonable and laid back, how long you are given depends on the piece you are purchasing, although if you are truly in the market for buying gold and diamonds, they allow more than enough time.

I went to this store twice now and everytime I was helped quickly and with care by George. They have a great selection of watches and the prices are not exuberant. I will definitely be back again.
