We were referred to North Shore Pain Management by my Mums PCP. It was the very start of Covid in March of 2020. At first we thought that no one there was able to help my Mum and was put off by the doctor. As time moved on and the doctor got to know my Mum, dealing with her pain, got to be more helpful and understanding of her situation. She is not free of pain, but it is a bit more manageable. As we got to know her doctor better, and he got to know her, there has been a more smooth of a relationship between her/me & her doctor. This has been her "umpteen" Pain Management Clinuc she has been to. I would recommend North Shore for folks that need care like my Mum!

I am new to NSPM and have already had two procedures hoping that I get relief from back pain. I will know in 6-8 weeks. I have the highest regard for Dr. Patel. From the first appt. I left with a feeling that this gentleman was going to do the best he could to help me. He delineated a sequential plan along with a goal of relieving 80% of pain for a good period of time. He is a great listener, gathers all information during and after the initial intake and explains all in detail. I also have been very impressed with the office staff. They are personable, well organized and pleasant. Even if the procedures don't work for me, I highly recommend trying this practice especially with Dr. Patel. I am so happy that I looked for different provider.

I needed a new pain clinic and happily discovered North Shore Pain Management. I am using their Woburn office which is very convenient for me. The staff made the intake process and records transfer painless and very shortly I had my first appointment and Dr Lomonaco and I were making a plan for the process ahead to deal with neck pain and headaches. Everything is going smoothly. The office runs well. The staff are caring and the care has been excellent.

After being hospitalized for a chronic illness, I began to suffer from “ atypical “ lower back pain. While in the hospital, they did very little to find out why. I was released and shortly after I began Pain Therapy at NSPM Center. I was referred to this Clinic by my then PCP. Everyone I spoke too spoke very, very highly of Dr. Patel and after my first visit, I now know why. I’ve been going to them for many years now for my pain treatment and I will never be able to explain how responsive and caring they were. They did tests and found out the reason for my pain and it’s been being treated FULLY since I first went there. I’ve had a few different Drs. / P.A’s treat me there and I have nothing but great things to say about each person. They are very caring, compassionate as well as friendly. Do not think for a moment they will give you what you ask for, as it should be. Follow their rules and treatment plan and over time you will recieve the help you need. Should you require pain treatment, I’d ALWAYS Highly recommend one of their Clinics. Dr Patel is warm, caring and committed to helping his patients live a better life with pain. I’ve only been seeing him and his support staff for 6 months, but I appreciate everyone’s kindness, helpfulness and compassion! It’s difficult working day after day dealing with patients in pain... they do it extremely well!! Thank you!

I laid on my floor for a few weeks in excruciating pain. I saw Dr. Patel for a consult, and he got me in the next day for a cortisone shot in my back. The pain subsided, and it took several days to feel much better. He gave me back (no pun intended!) my life. I can't recommend him enough!!!!!!

This was my 2nd visit to NSPM (Woburn). Dr. Patel was professional, kind and really listened to what I had to say. I received two injections and it was easy due to the minimal pain involved (1 out of 10). Special shoutout to the tech Sophia. She really put me at ease pre and post procedure.

I have a bad back to where doctors on first seeing me ask when was I in a car accident back. Needless to say there is ongoing pain. I have been to other doctors before who were good and understanding but Doctor Patel was very patient and took the time to help me really understand what was going on with my back, the options that were available to help me and also the ramifications of those options. I highly recommend Doctor Patel for anyone who is in chronic pain.

Dr Patel is the worst telling how he worked on Kevin Garnett in talking about other patients as he sticking the Cortizone shot into my back. Also, the front desk is horrible especially one of the older ladies I was 9 minutes late was told to come back I’ve never had that happen in my life horrible place if you wanna get better this is not the place !
