Clean fun park for kids. 2 fun slides, sand area, walking trail, modern play structures, and clean indoor rec area for bathrooms, indoor track etc.

The highlight of this park is hands down the two big yellow slides! All the kids love them - even my little one year old loves them and my 3 year old can’t get enough. The climbing wall to the side is fun as well, but there are also steps if you or your kid(s) would rather. If you have younger kids that like to have you help come expecting a workout :) There’s also a really nice sand pit - we always bring our own sand toys to maximize the fun. As with many parks, I feel there could be more swings, especially here where it can get really busy on a weekend. Lots of fun play features here - a seesaw, small slide and playground for the littles, a sitting spin toy, and some wooden climbing structures for older kids. If there’s anything lacking, I’d actually saw they could use a bit more for older kids, but I have young kids so it’s great for us! It’s a must visit to try out the slides! Nearby are some nice wooded trails to enjoy. Plenty of street parking available.

My son and I absolutely love this park! It’s got a nice trail with a little creek, and it has an amazing playground! The slide ride was even fun for myself, and few other dads also seemed to enjoy it! 😂 Also, my son loved spending his time in the sandbox with his trucks and shovels. We went both this past Saturday and Sunday, and my son wanted to go again as soon as he got back from the daycare today! 😆

Great park! Lots of unique spots for kids and adults. Our favorite was the yellow slides, but also seesaw, sand area, rope climbing things, and our activities. Also basketball courts, grass fields, ample benches. Street and garage parking. Also, across from an elementary school with even more play ground equipment. Short walk to the trail.

This is such a great park with something for everyone! Plenty of benches, a couple picnic tables, and small amounts of shade. Lots of areas for picnics near the playgrounds, clean bathroom, etc.

Great new recreation center being put in here. Should be finished soon, hopefully people will be able to congregate again soon. Beautiful timber construction with great views. I like the grass park above the parking garage that is totally hidden from the neighborhood.

Great park for the space it has. Cool trail that winds by the water (some of the bridges flood after a rain) has an amphitheater for weekend shows. Great park for runs or dog/nature walks close by to busy ballston.

I love this place so much. It's surprisingly peaceful for being relatively close to DC and houses. My favorite trail is the part on the west side of the stream from rt 50 which is unpaved. I've had a lot of great dog walks there too! Listening to the stream is always very relaxing

We found this place looking for local kid friendly trails as we have a three, almost four year old. We came out to lubber run trail and entered at the parking lot above the ampitheater. It's a beautiful paved/graveled trail that winds over and around a wide flowing creek. It's beautiful, small child friendly and just big enough to be a good hike where you feel like you spent a good time hiking without wanting it to be over the last little while. The playground is accessible by a series of stairs and boasts a sandpit, slides, a rock climbing wall, playhouses, climbing areas and a basketball and tennis courts. It has a community center with an indoor track and various other amenities. A great place for a day trip although not much shade in the playground areas so it gets very hot and icky in the summer. During the spring and fall it's ideal. It is kind of disability friendly as it does have a wheelchair accessible ramp outside the community center to the playground but to get from the community center to the trail you have to take a few stairs or go out into the neighborhood road and then to an access trail to get back onto the main trail. Very pretty though and a good "not too long, not too short" kind of family trail. There are full restrooms right off the left side of the path as you come in from the ampitheater parking lot and while I have not personally been inside the community center areas, I would assume they have restrooms as well.

Great new facility at Lubber Run. Grew up going to this place as a boy. Lots has changed in the past 40 years, the new Amphetheater is first class. Basketball and pickleball courts are new and fabulous illumination. The whole facility is integrated to the park and walking trails.

We were disappointed in this playground and will likely not return. There are no big trees so the space feels clinical and too exposed. There are many much better playgrounds in Arlington surrounded by trees. The walking path is very nice, especially now with the fall colors. I also really liked the design of the community center from the outside.

Nice little playground. Great climbing structure for older kids. Nice little kid structure. They have the latest synthetic padding down to keep kids safe when they are being kids. The is parking inside as well.

Great park with lots of different things to do, from a giant sand play area, to two big slides and a shallow rock climbing wall, to some tiny log cabin type playground style buildings, and a huge log and net freeplay area. Great range of play for small to older kids.

Great playground with a tot area and plenty for kids 5-12. Usually busy with lots of other kids to play with in the evenings. A huge cool slide area. Nice walking path around for dogs.

A++ playground! Sand pit, climbing structures, smaller baby accessible play area, rubberized grounds, and these two huge slides with a rock wall. There is NO shade though so come with sunscreen, sun hats, and water. Pop over to the trails to get some shade and respite from the sun. There's streams and rocks a plenty for children who love rock throwing. Restroom available!

Great pickleball courts. 2 sections, one with ~4 courts and one with 6, varying levels of competition and accommodating parking! Pleasant, would recommend

Very nice park and a beautiful walking trail. So peaceful with the sound of the stream in-between the walking trails
