We
found
this
place
looking
for
local
kid
friendly
trails
as
we
have
a
three,
almost
four
year
old.
We
came
out
to
lubber
run
trail
and
entered
at
the
parking
lot
above
the
ampitheater.
It's
a
beautiful
paved/graveled
trail
that
winds
over
and
around
a
wide
flowing
creek.
It's
beautiful,
small
child
friendly
and
just
big
enough
to
be
a
good
hike
where
you
feel
like
you
spent
a
good
time
hiking
without
wanting
it
to
be
over
the
last
little
while.
The
playground
is
accessible
by
a
series
of
stairs
and
boasts
a
sandpit,
slides,
a
rock
climbing
wall,
playhouses,
climbing
areas
and
a
basketball
and
tennis
courts.
It
has
a
community
center
with
an
indoor
track
and
various
other
amenities.
A
great
place
for
a
day
trip
although
not
much
shade
in
the
playground
areas
so
it
gets
very
hot
and
icky
in
the
summer.
During
the
spring
and
fall
it's
ideal.
It
is
kind
of
disability
friendly
as
it
does
have
a
wheelchair
accessible
ramp
outside
the
community
center
to
the
playground
but
to
get
from
the
community
center
to
the
trail
you
have
to
take
a
few
stairs
or
go
out
into
the
neighborhood
road
and
then
to
an
access
trail
to
get
back
onto
the
main
trail.
Very
pretty
though
and
a
good
"not
too
long,
not
too
short"
kind
of
family
trail.
There
are
full
restrooms
right
off
the
left
side
of
the
path
as
you
come
in
from
the
ampitheater
parking
lot
and
while
I
have
not
personally
been
inside
the
community
center
areas,
I
would
assume
they
have
restrooms
as
well.
