What a great little park! I had an errand nearby and my little girl deserved some playtime. This park has plenty of swings for adults and for kids. There’s a huge sand pit and three different play structures. Not to mention a basketball court! It also has a covered area with plenty of picnic tables. My daughter particularly love the swing and sandbox. There’s lots of good climbing for older kiddos, too! I will mention that the parking is quite limited. I was lucky to find one of the probably only five street parking spots.

Love going here. It's usually pretty quiet, there's basketball and tennis courts, and places for the kids to play. Plenty of shade too! Only downside is there's limited parking in the area if you're driving from in town , be prepared to walk a bit. Still love this park

My 6 years old twins enjoyed very much playing at the Lyon village park. The structures were fun for all ages kids, and the sprayer park is amazing for the hot summer days! Just one complaint—- a public bathroom for the families will be greatly appreciated!

This is a good local park for kids. They have 4 diaper swings and (I think) 4 regular swings. They also have slides of different heights along with other activity items for kids. There are basketball hoops and tennis courts to one side that is a big plus for a local park. The big draw for this park is the water park area - plenty of sprinklers and water jets that the kids love. Make sure to bring swim clothes/ diapers and towels coz you know the kids will get wet during the summer months!

Nice park with a couple of playgrounds for the kids, a spray ground that works in the summer, swings, and basketball and tennis courts. It would be just great if it had more grass patches, but all in all is a good option to bring your family and have fun

Lots to do for little kids (under 6) splash park is great, wish it would be open more often. Decent fence to protect kids from street, but could be better. Basketball and tennis courts are good, but busy.

9/10 the play equipment was toasty because of the hot day, but I recommend the spinning wheel and the very comfortable seat under one of the play structures any day!

👍👍 Living in NOVA for over 20 years, this remains my favorite place to drive. The "Second Overlook" part was just Googles selected location. I love the entire drive - even through rush hour traffic (and that's saying a LOT). As you drive down the parkway, you are surrounded by luscious green trees a...
