Absolutely love the food in this place, every time I eat here it’s like the last time, consistently delicious. Great atmosphere, great staff and a great owner. It’s on the corner of Pratt street and it’s hidden gem honestly. The salad is fresh the chicken is amazing and whenever I want to eat Greek food this is where I head. The precious time I had the fish and that was equally as nice. Check this place out and let me know what you think.

The BEST Greek food, good portions, reasonable price and lovely team. We were too excited to eat so didn’t take many photos, but please give this place a try when you’re in Camden (or nearby!). Non-touristy, tasty, and the staff really takes good care of you. Definitely will bring all my guests here.

We took a quick look at the places to eat, and this is high on the list and highly rated. We called and soon they had a table. The restaurant was very busy, but we sat down quickly, our waiter was lovely, recommended wine and beer to us, it was delicious. We spent a wonderful night enjoying delicious food and the atmosphere was very nice. The staff is also great, we will come back immediately.

Brilliant service by the restaurant owners. The portions of food is generous and the ambience reminds us of a simple Greek taverna without much fuss about. Their emphasis is on the excellence of the food, and they genuinely value and consider the feedback provided. Andreas took care of us brilliantly on all the occasions we were here. Definitely we would return back for their brilliant homemade food and I highly recommend them for a meal.

A good place for lunch, lots of space to accommodate many people inside and a few tables outside. The food was well prepared and delicious. Service needs to be improved though, they have brought starters and mains together without asking. Also brought a glass of alcohol after a meal without asking if I want it or not. A few members of staff came to ask the same questions about the order, seems they are not talking to each other at all. If you could improve the service it will be a great place.

A nice Greek dining experience but the tuna steak and salmon filet were both over-cooked. Service was friendly. Dishes were tasty and a great value for the money (ordered the Fish Mezedes). The leg of lamb smelled and looked really good so may have to try that next time. Book a table to ensure seating.

What a fantastic restaurant, the service is friendly & attentive which generates a fantastic atmosphere in the dinning room & the is food is top notch. We plumped for the fish mezzo which started with an array of tasty dips & bread followed by Fresh white bait, calamari & Halloumi & then the main event Fresh sea bass, Salmon, Tuna steak, plump prawns & more calamari all cooked perfectly & served with a wonderful Greek salad. Probably the best value meal ever in the UK

Wonderful evening. I highly recommend the sharing platter if you're unsure what you fancy off the extensive menu. Everything is fresh, delicious and well presented - especially the meats that were cooked to perfection. But the best thing about Andy's is the staff who are very friendly and attentive, and made us feel very welcome.

Been here twice and always the best service! The food was really good. the glass of wine they chose for me is absolutely perfect. Spend around 19£ for the set menu, it turns out that so many signature food is included and I couldn’t finish all of them and have to pack some home 😂

Have been here many times so let's review. Delicious, attentive, affordable, full of life and character - very friendly and accommodating (especially as no booking for one of those visits). The food is really something else; from the incredibly fresh dips to the specialty dishes, bread and salad, every time we've been spoiled with quality, freshness and deliciousness. The place oozes with passion and you can see this through the staff who are keen on making the experience all the more better. Andy himself is no exception. The attention to detail when it comes to serving, the portions of the foods, the set menus, the wine pairing and even delivery is excellent; packaged super well and so so fresh every time. Very nice tasty food, good prices for portion size in comparison to similar restaurants.. although we had booked in advance and availability of seats inside the main room, we were placed in the extension next door where it was cold and empty so there was basically zero atmosphere but despite the absence of customers with the exception of one table out of 11 when I asked for another table to be placed next to ours due to the amount of plates we asked for the waiter was reluctant and said only if you allow me to take it if a customer comes in and wants it! I said absolutely after rolling my eyes... Hence the 2 stars for service and atmosphere.. I would still recommend it for the tasty food if you can bare the other stuff ...

Good food, good prices and great atmosphere! We’ve ordered the tasting menus, both the meat and the fish ones, which is good if you want to try more dishes and good for sharing if you’re a big group. The staff is responsive and accommodating and the atmosphere the manager creates is welcoming and cheerful, we really loved it! The service slowed down a bit in the end but it’s okay as they were very busy and we had no rush.

Great place! Food was really good, most tender meat I had I think. One starter and a main was almost too much for me. The service was extraordinary, however if you're not a fan of the staff checking in on you quite often you might find them visiting you a bit too much. With that said, I didn't feel disturbed at all, they have a nice way to check in. Great experience, I'll come back next time I want the best Greek food in town!

By chance today I went here with a friend. We had really good food and a table in the shade outside. The staff were very kind, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was honestly a lot better than many of the slightly tired Greek tavernas you can find in England, really fresh and authentic and made with quality ingredients. We had drinks to start, a bottle of wine, three starters (too much, but all good), a pork souvlaki, a mixed grill (with different souvlaki, a lamb chop, loukanika, pastourma, sheftalia) and chips (fresh, in olive oil) and salad, a bottle of wine, coffee and it was eighty quid including a tip. Good value for money. Good food. I’ll be back

Good honest food cooked to perfection! It was a search and the 5-star review that got me really curious to walk from St Pancras to the restaurant. Restaurant isn’t big but it’s very cosy! The minute I walked in I could tell that everyone at this family run restaurant works so hard! Menu was extensive and classic Greek dishes! Service was extremely friendly and timely. After ordering I said to the staff - I came here because of the 5-star review and let’s see if the food lives up to it! Oh man! I was not disappointed. Garlic prawn, salt pepper calamari and the grilled meat platter were all super super good! The flavour and the way they cooked it was just perfect. Even the chicken breast was so moist!! Wine serving size super generous and best of all very very good value for what they serve! Recommend to everyone and anyone who loves good, honest food done to perfection !

Just stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. We didn’t have a booking on a friday evening but the waiters went out of their way to give us a very cozy space inside. Food was really good. Good portions and great taste. In the end we ordered desert and i ordered a frappe (which is not on the menu) and they made it without hesitation. Had a little chat with all the waiters afterwards. Good lads. They gave a little shot and desert on the house which was very attentive. All in all great price/value. We left with a full stomach and a smile on our face. Definitely coming back!

Great food, huge portions too, we couldn't eat it all!!! We had the meat set menu, Beef Stifado and they made me Sheftalia too for a starter. We were not in the main restaurant sadly, I think this would be better so try and get a table in there. Would definitely return and highly recommend it. 👌

For an authentic Greek/cypriot meal, cannot recommend Andy’s Greek Taverna more. The food was abundant and delicious and the service was quick and friendly. We ordered the meze which came with a ton of different platters and meat, which we devoured. We even saved room for dessert, which I highly recommend you do.

We had my husband’s birthday here and we loved everything, from the delicious food, to amazing service and very reasonable bill at the end! Thanks Sabbir and the Greek brother (might be the owner, I forgot to ask his name) for taking care of our table wonderfully. The set menus (of fish and meat) are so delicious and filling, we loved each mezze and especially the lamb shank. Their unique birthday candle was also the star of the evening! 😄 We will absolutely come back again.

The best Greek place I’ve been to in London. The food is exquisite, everything that I’ve tried was amazing. I especially recommend trying their dips. Also, the atmosphere reminds me of an authentic Greek tavern with friendliest stuff and lots of happy relaxed customers.

Coming to this restaurant was a great experience for my family. Not only was the food delicious but the service was 10/10 as well. All the servers were incredibly welcoming and attentive to every request. The portions for the kleftiko and the moussaka were large and the price is very reasonable. Great traditional Greek food at really good prices. Big menu with set and meze options. Friendly staff, food came quickly but we were never rushed and for 2 people we enjoyed a 3 course meal with wine and coffee for just £60. Decor is a little old now, but if anything reminded us of actually being back in Greece! Highly recommend, would be great for groups.

It was a wonderful experience to be treated so well by the members of the staff. All the staff members who served our table were super friendly yet not intrusive. The food was just wonderful. We even felt safe in the popular restaurant on a bank holiday Monday amid the pandemic as all staff were wearing either a visor or a face mask. That allowed us to have fun and enjoy our night out.

A really cosy, friendly restaurant. The food was authentic and amazing. The meze was more than enough and the food didn’t seem to stop arriving. Anything that wasn’t liked was substituted for something else. This restaurant brought me back to my childhood with its delicious food that I thought only my grandmother can make. We have been there with my partner almost every week and let me advise you - if you go there you must be hungry: the portions are so big or at least for my standards. I try to pick my favourite meal but honestly I like it all, maybe Kleftiko is my top and my grandmother would have agreed too.

So, so much food! Each round was better than the one before, and couldn’t believe how much food we got for the price. Plus dessert and shots on the house. Great experience!!

Authentic greek food

I visited the restaurant by the end of the previous week. Unfortunately, despite the good food, the service was terrible. What I considered to be the staff was very polite and helpful yet the manager or owner was extremely rude to them. As a client, I felt exposed and uncomfortable in the presence of that unprofessional approach on behalf of the owner/manager towards the staff. I can only imagine what happens behind the scenes. Therefore, I wouldn’t suggest it.

Had lunch here on sunday with some friends as I'm leaving london and I wanted to have a good and relaxing last meal with my loved ones. food and service just GREAT!!!! We had the seafood menu for approximately £20 each, including 7 cold starters (Tirokafteri and taramasalada to die for!) 3 hot starters (fried squid delicious) and after that a mix grilled fish including salmon, tuna,swordfish,king prawns and sea bream(whole)... shame that we couldn't eat everything as we were stuffed!! We had retzina to drink and after that a bottle of ouzo. At the end of the meal, the owner offered us a sweet traditional greek liqueur... my friend bought a bottle to take home as it was just great! We will come back for sure! We felt at home and staff was looking after us without being invasive, and we stayed from 3pm until 8pm!!!! Thank you for the great experience!!!!!

Camden's best kept secret. We live locally and come here regularly, never disappoints. Always great food and service at a very reasonable price.

We went here last minute for my friends birthday and oh dear! How i wish we went to McDonalds instead.. not only were we served out of date prosecco that was out of date by over a year and smelt like old wood , we were served tasteless food and fish that was like a Frisbee. prawns that were chewy and see through to the look .. Now delighted to be writing this review with a runny stomach on the toilet. However the delightful staff brought out a platter of baklava with a candle to sing her happy birthday.

The lamb chops were the best tasting thing over there. Would really recommend.

We had such an amazing meal at Andy’s a few weeks ago! You could tell that everything was fresh and expertly seasoned, we were both very happy with our entrées. Just the right portion size as well, and brilliant starters and wine. The size of the restaurant may be a little daunting for those looking for an authentic Greek meal but I would definitely encourage everyone to give this place a shot.

Very pleased with the diner I had there just before Tier 3. The staff is very friendly. There is a range of differents starters, mains to try! Food is really good and portions are satisfying. You can ask to take the leftover with you when leaving. I would definitely recommend to any friends and go back again.

We loved our visit to This place. We were sceptical because it’s in Camden Town and generally it’s not that authentic when it’s in such a tourist place but this was really good and unexpected! We ordered tzatziki which came with delicious bread, mixed grill meal and moussaka. All of these were excellent - the mains come with a side of salad too. All in one would 100% recommend and the reviews are valid for this place. Finally, the staff are so nice and warm - they really care for the customers good experience, not your usual average priced London restaurant. Such lovely people!

This is a very unassuming place we came across after our planned dinner spot was closed, so we thought we'd give it a go, and I'm very glad we did! The service was a little overbearing at the start but relaxed very quickly. We ordered hummus and tirokaftari for starter which were both really tasty, especially the hummus. For the main I had the mixed grill, and it was all cooked perfectly and full of taste. The wine was also very pleasant and we had complimentary amaretto shots given to us alongside the bill! I'd definitely return if I was in the area.
