Mele Bistro is a real GEM! This was definitely our most enjoyable dining experience while visiting Arlington. Mele’s menu features homemade pastas, fresh meats and vegetables. The outdoor seating area was comfortable and pleasant, and the wait staff was both friendly and entertaining (especially Frank). We really enjoyed our meal here and look forward to returning on future trips to Arlington.

The menu was intense! Each meal was named to include location of ingredients which was very helpful for seafood. Just put you at ease that ingredients are fresh. And so many delicious options for meat, pasta and seafood dishes. Our table loves our entrees we didn’t care for the cheese plate but the eggplant mozzarella was amazing and they loved the fried calamari. The staff was super nice and very efficient. The restaurant was packed when we arrived with reservations but they got us seated quickly and moved tables around so get the best fit (the place was packed!) While we waited we were watching the plates go past which gave us ideas on what to order. We will definitely be back.

I must say, it was an amazing experience. A friend recommended the restaurant, and I am grateful for the suggestion. The menu is quite extensive and has a great variety of dishes to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for pasta, seafood, or meat, they have something for everyone. The salads were also a highlight, fresh and flavorful. What stood out for me was the personal touch provided by the owner, who came to our table to greet us and talk to us about the menu and where everything was sourced. The service was impeccable and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a date night or a night out with friends. I highly recommend Mele Bistro to anyone looking for a great meal and a wonderful dining experience.

We came on a busy Saturday evening. Was seated within 15mins. Our waiter was pretty good..busy but good. We waited longer than we would like for our food, but no different than anyone else that arrived around the same time as us. It was very good and we will be back to eat there again. Our reservations were for 7pm and we chose the outside seating which I highly recommend. However, by the time we were served it was cold (outside), and most or us had our jackets on as we ate. The manager was excellent - he sets the bar as what you'd expect when you go to a nice place to eat. Great restaurant...you will not be disappointed!

Mele Bistro is a must if you are in the Arlington area. Well seasoned steaks, hot olives, warm bread, perfectly cooked gnocchi, creamy risotto, and so many more choices. The owner is charming and attentive, and the patio has a great ambiance. Can't wait to go back!

The restaurant was really, really good!. As soon as we stepped inside the restaurant, every single waiter made us feel welcome. The food was amazing, we ordered a calamari with white wine sauce and it was superb. We also ordered a dish from the exotic menu (fusili with sea food) and amount of sea food was generous. We will definitely come back again.

Foos was excellent. Frank, who I assume is the owner, was talking to every table and checking on them constantly. He had a story for everything. Was sincere and happy to have you there.

Went here for my anniversary and I must say, my husband did a great job choosing this place. Customer service was amazing. It definitely makes a huge difference. The ambiance was great with all the Christmas lights and decor inside. Everything we got was amazing! I definitely would recommend this place.

This place is such a gem in Arlington. The food is delicious - high quality ingredients and well prepared - and staff are so warm and friendly. The ambience is cozy and unpretentious inside. When it’s warm out we love to sit outside where it has a European sidewalk cafe vibe along with neighboring restaurants but none of the partying foot traffic some other areas get. We have been going here for years and always have a great time.

One of the great places to eat in Arlington. The staff is always so welcoming and the food is some of the best in the area. Try this place out and you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant is one of the hidden gems in Northern VA and we're delighted to have found it. The food is both healthy and absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is very nice and cozy, but above all what distinguishes this establishment is amazing quality of service. From the minute you walk-in, the personalized attention and very warm welcome you receive make you feel immediately at home in a family-type environment far from the commercial vibe of most restaurants these days. The Manager, Frank, is a delightful and fun gentleman with a warm and engaging mediterranean personality who is also extremely knowledgeable and caring. Aside from warmly greeting us on arrival and seating us, he came by a few times throughout the evening to check on us, made sure we were comfortable and happy, provided great advice on the different menu alternatives, all the while with a great sense of humor. Our waitress, Stephanie, was equally nice, attentive and diligent throughout the evening. Overall, we had a great time, enjoyed delicious food, appreciated an outstanding level of service in a very cozy place. Many other places would charge quite a fortune without any of these, yet this great restaurant provides all of it and still at fairly reasonable prices. We're sure to be coming back over and over!

Fantastic Italian bistro where the food is amazing and the service is excellent We had the good pleasure of meeting the owner who is such a gentleman, he made sure we felt at home and was so kind to my daughter and I. He also ensured all the guests’ needs were met and paid attention to all the details. We ordered a couple of pastas and they were both well executed. The desserts were decadent. What else is there to say? Make sure you visit, and make reservations before you do!

There are not enough stars in the sky that I need to rate my experience here. Work had me separated from family on Thanksgiving. So fortunate to find Mele. I was welcomed into the restaurant as I if was a returning family member. Food, especially the stuffing, was superb. Left with a warm heart and a little tear in my eye.

I usually do not leave reviews but this was a very postive experience. I ordered a steak which was perfectly cooked and it came with two sides, both the fries and mash potatoes were delicious and flavorful. The host was very energetic, welcoming, and very likable coming around to make sure everything was good. The appetizer bread was fresh, warm, and soft. Overall a very good experience and I would highly recommend.
