I didn't like the food at this restaurant and can't in good faith recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food. I was looking forward to eating here but was disappointed. It is a shame since this place has such a nice terrace and is located conveniently by the movie theater. The margherita pizza was very dry and tasteless. The crust was all wrong, the mozzarella bland and a little burnt. The mini lox pizza was terrible. It tasted like a cheap frozen pizza. The beignets did not taste like beignets at all. They were also too dry and tasted stale, it was hard to chew and eat. They tasted more like stale deep fried french toast sticks. My reference is the OG beignets of New Orleans. The spaghetti squash tasted okay but the texture of the squash was a miss. Parking at Courthouse Plaza lot is free 8am-8am on Sundays (all day) and free 12pm-8am on Saturdays

The only half-way decent pizza I’ve been able to find in Arlington. The crust and sauce are good, the toppings are alright. I got the sweet heat, it was good but not much spice to it. The wine selection is ok. This would be a fun place for after work drinks or to bring a group of friends.

What a great experience! Juan the bartender was fantastic! He is personable, efficient, attentive and funny. He made our time here fun. The food was also delicious. We were so full! I appreciate the great hospitality and atmosphere. Props to Juan!

I'll start with the good. The ambiance and beer list are absolutely fantastic, and their happy hour(3-6) seems to be a good deal. That being said, I have eaten here 2 times over the last 6 months, and their food is borderline inedible. I had the exact same pizza hoping it would change, but I literally couldn't finish it. If you knew me, that would be all you would need to know. My girlfriend also thought her lobster roll (pictured) was "off." I give 3 stars because if you are just coming here for drinks, then you're going to have a good time I believe. Just don't bother with the food. I try to leave only positive reviews to counteract people who only leave negative reviews, but this place needs to change. I want it to be good so bad, but it just is not. That being said, Vanesa, our waitress, was attentive and super nice.

The vegetarian pasta and soup here were excellent with good service. However, -1 star for serving water in single use plastic cups even for a sit down restaurant

(Sep 2022) Update: they use cooked spinach (still tastes gross). They made their knots bigger so they stay softer. But I only order selectively. Got chicken parm which tasted good but it was slightly burnt. I go back more for the pizza rolls, knots, and parm when i get sporadic cravings, it’s close, and not as many options with similar menu without paying way more. I definitely miss NYC. Increased to 3 stars from 2. I at least appreciate their response and offer despite not having taken the offer. One good thing is the atmosphere with outdoor seating is always nice. (Jan 2022) I’ve been going to this restaurant every so often for three years. It’s good. BUT, I’ve been more and more wary of going because I’ve had some more off experiences. 50% chance my garlic knots are reheated and hard as a rock. Sauce can be pretty acidic so if you get heartburn, prepare. And recently, after taking few-months-long hiatus, I got a pizza that was missing a topping and they used some kind of frozen/canned spinach which tasted like fish!!! $16 personal pizza and I’m at my end of “bad days”. For not going very often the scale has tipped towards “not going back” with their cost-saving options. I’d be happy to pay more for guaranteed quality. Not hit-miss gambles of canned garbage.

The pizza was amazing, I came with a friend to on the 23rd to have dinner and Juana one of the servers was really good, super nice and very attentive, knew what she was doing. Overall this place was amazing and I enjoyed going eating there, I would definitely come back and also would recommend.

First time going to Fire Works. They nailed the food and the drinks we got were delicious. Love a great neighborhood restaurant. Service was a little choppy. Didn't see the our wait staff much. Understand when a customer rolls in with little kids that the table tends to be a little more high maintenance but that is part of doing business. The kids were well behaved and you should always bring extra napkins and check in drinks regularly. Would highly recommend the pizza, truffle fries, and Mac and Cheese (comes with tomatoes in it, FYI.)

Great tasting pizza with a choice of sizes starting from 10” onwards. So you could order for one or more people without worrying about wastage. Great bar and excellent service.

First of all, at least there was no hideous mural with the goat kid from Narnia a mermaid and a cowboy like another local restaurant. This decor is modern fresh, bright and clean. The beer selection was amazing and my bourbon cocktail was delicious. The pizza looked handmade by artisans who studied in Italy. My smoked chicken pasta tasted light yet earthy with spinach and bacon surrounded by juicy chicken strips. I highly recommend this place. A highlight of my trip to DC.

The Happy Hour is worth it here. However, I recommend sticking only to the $6 Flatbreads, which are a great deal! The Blue Cheese chips ($5) were okay, but needed way more blue cheese/sauce. The pretzel with beer cheese ($5) was also okay, it came out practically burnt and the beer cheese is sweeter than I thought it would be. The fried zucchini ($5) was good, but a little too wet for my liking. My biggest hiccup was that they had 11 heaters for their indoor/outdoor seating. They could have achieved the same effect with 5-6 heaters considering it is a small space. It was unbelievably hot, to the point where it was uncomfortable by the time we left.

We ate at Fireworks Pizza the other night for the first time in over a year. We were amazed that Evan the manager pulled together a table for 8 adults and 4 kiddos in the best spot ever on the outdoor patio! Vanessa our top notch server was constantly checking on us! Matt our friendly bartender was helpful with suggestions and Julia was our most pleasant hostess. The food was delicious as always. Fireworks Pizza you are the best. We will always recommend you to all our friends and we will keep coming back. Thanks so much.

Got 2 large Hawaiian pizzas, pizzas came incredibly hot and they were super good, price was about 23$ each or so. They were ready in I think around 20 minutes from calling till when we walked over and got them.

I always have a good meal here. The rotating specials and keep things interesting in addition to the wide selection of specialty pizzas and other dishes. The service is pretty good. Food comes out quickly and the floor is covered adequately as far as I've seen. Great place to go as a group or for a date too

Outstanding service and pizza! Kid friendly with a kid menu. Beer choices were very good and our server went out of her way to be good to us (kids had a change of heart about a meatball on their pasta and our person took care of it). We were staying next door at the Residence Inn and this was a hopping place. We sat indoors but there was some great outdoor seating too (longer wait). Very busy on a Friday night but the staff kept things moving. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good pizza and some unique beers.

Huge pizzas for the price you pay! You can customize them or choose from their vast menu. The desert I got was the peach crumble and it was really nice. Nice vibe after work, would visit again.

This place was great! Overall I'd have to say 4 stars because of the service. The food was great, and the crust was legit. I really think it was just our waitress that didn't really come to our table that much. Now usually I take into consideration how busy it is, how many tables she has, or if she is new. In my opinion non of these applied. I saw her multiple times talking/joking around with another waiter, and walking around aimlessly. Most of the time another person filled up our water and such. I don't want anyone to think this is a bad place, and I encourage you to go to this place, because every other waiter seemed to be doing their job.

I love this place! In addition to the large assortment of specialty pizzas and other food, rotating specials keep things exciting. The service was great too. Fire Works Pizza is definitely a great spot to go with friends and family.

Great pizza! I recommend beating the dinner crowd if it's cold out because the indoor seats seem to fill up quick. By the time I left around 5 or 6 it was pretty packed! I tried a pizza with honey on it and loved it. 😋 the strawberry smash cocktail was pretty good too, just pretty small and full of ice haha.

Pizza was good. Dairy free/vegan cheese was available so my dairy allergic family members could enjoy the pizza. Staff was polite but service was very slow. After the meal, I waited 30 minutes for a slice of mouse cake to-go, which I think just had to be cut and put in a box. However, I'd go back and try it again as long as I was not in any kind of a hurry.

We ordered this pizza that tastes like tacos. Did not disappoint. The garlic knots and pizza was on point. Just what we needed to feed a bunch of people! Quick service and friendly staff!

Slow service but was able to order multiple items at once. Food came out hot. Managed expectations as I've been before and would go back. Great brunch deal!

Took my son's 14 year old friends here for a birthday party on a Saturday night and it was PERFECT. We had a party of 11, and they handled it very well. Service was super friendly and accommodating, pizza and appetizers were solid. Food arrived promptly and the water glasses were all kept full. Creative work on the jalapeno poppers. I would absolutely book this place again for a large party. Thanks!!

The service here was phenominal. The food was delicious. They have a great menu with many food and beverage offerings. We had a large family gathering of 20 or so people and the server who supported our group was so efficient. The food came out so quickly. I think it helped that they just brought out food as it was ready rather than trying to wait for it all to be ready and then bring it to us. We had a separate room for our group and they even divided up the bill for us. (We had been to a restaurant the day before where they said they couldn't separate the bill for our large group. 😒) Fireworks Pizza was a great experience in the city of D.C.

I had the PIG NEWTON it comes with Pesto / Parmesan / Gorgonzola / Prosciutto / Arugula / Figs / Balsamic glaze. The wood fire oven is nice. The crust on the pizza is airy and chewy I just like mine a more moister.
