The Brisket & ribs were delicious 🤤 Smokey, juicy, no need for BBQ sauce. I ordered the wings and was disappointed. But who orders wings at a BBQ joint… lucky my BF shared his meat with me. Sat at the bar and this place gets busy! The parking lot is horrible with ice and idiots that parked in the no parking making it hard for me to exit.

Texas Jacks has great drinks and great hospitality. I really had a great time and enjoyed all the restaurant had to offer. Environment Very spacious place with plenty of seating for dining and an area for dining and plenty of bar space. They have a private/party dining area as well - great for parties and small events. The music is very lively and upbeat that strikes a bit different from the ambiance of the restaurant which I found interesting. Service The owner/manager was warm and hospitable. Very welcoming and made sure we had all we needed. The bar staff was friendly and accommodating. Drinks I only purchased drinks on this trip. The old fashion was pretty good and the smoked effect added a little bit of flare. They were very strong so that is always good. I also ordered the old fashion off the happy hour menu that was just as good. The happy hour special is great especially coming from DC ($8 for a old fashion!) Overall Great place for drinks with a large bourbon menu and a great happy hour thats worth a trip to Arlington.

We came in for dinner on Tuesday night and the food was fantastic. We didn’t expect such a good bbq spot in Arlington but we are glad to have found this place. I’ll say the only thing we didn’t enjoy was the ribs. They weren’t fall off the bone unfortunately. Our service was also great. The waiter was very attentive and our food was brought out very quickly.

The moment you step into Texas Jack's, the tantalizing aroma of slow-smoked meats fills the air, instantly whetting your appetite. The restaurant's rustic yet inviting decor, complete with exposed brick, wood accents, and a bustling open kitchen, sets the stage for an authentic barbecue feast. The star of the show at Texas Jack's is, undoubtedly, their barbecue. From tender brisket and succulent ribs to perfectly smoked sausages and pulled pork, each offering showcases the pitmasters' dedication to their craft. The meats are expertly seasoned with a blend of spices, allowing the flavors to penetrate deep into the meat, creating a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The brisket, in particular, is a standout, featuring a perfectly smoky bark, moist interior, and an irresistible smoky flavor that leaves you craving for more. The menu at Texas Jack's extends beyond meats, with an array of delectable sides that complement the barbecue perfectly. From the creamy mac and cheese to the tangy coleslaw and the comforting baked beans, each side dish is made with care and adds an extra layer of indulgence to the meal. Don't miss out on trying their cornbread with a side of cinnamon butter! The service at Texas Jack's is exceptional, with friendly and knowledgeable staff members who are passionate about their craft. They are eager to guide you through the menu, provide recommendations, and ensure a delightful dining experience. The staff's attentiveness and genuine hospitality contribute to the overall enjoyment of the visit. To complete the barbecue feast, Texas Jack's offers a well-curated selection of craft beers and a thoughtfully crafted cocktail menu. The drinks pair seamlessly with the robust flavors of the barbecue, enhancing the overall dining experience. One important aspect to note is that Texas Jack's can get busy, especially during peak hours or weekends, which may result in longer wait times. However, the authentic flavors and exceptional quality of the food make the wait well worth it.

This was our first time in this specific area and decided to trying out this restaurant. The staff and our server were very nice, friendly and helpful. We actually got there 45 minutes early and they accommodated us, we didn't have to wait and was shown to our table. The atmosphere was warm, cozy and inviting. Our appetizer and meal came out about 10 & 15 minutes after ordering. Food was on point, definitely well prepared and simply tasted good.. I definitely recommend this spot for small and large plates...

I was surprised by the massiveness of the space where there is ample seating (inside and outside), a bar that is fully stocked with any libation you can think of and an open kitchen where you can see how your meat is being smoked. We were beyond spoiled at this event and had the opportunity to try several dishes. The stand out for me, was the chicken taco that was loaded. My meal was accompanied with a red sangria that I consumed way to easily.

Came in for lunch and ordered the meat sampler to split with my girlfriend. Perfect amount of food for two people to split. Really enjoyed all of it and had a slice of key lime pie to top it off! Key lime pie was delicious!

Where: Texas Jacks When: Lunch What: Meat Sampler (Brisket, 2 Ribs, Pulled Pork & 2 Sides) Remarks: Came in around lunch time. Ordered food quickly and within 10 minutes the food was out. On first taste the Mac and cheese is ok nothing spectacular. The coleslaw wasn't sweet which i like and had a very good taste to it. The ribs are VERY good. Matched with their bbq sauce is a great combo. Th3 Brisket was good moist and tender. The pulled pork is also good. Overall a good BBQ spot to try out. Will come back and try other things again. Also their staff was very nice and kind. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had the meat sampler and the pulled pork was good but the ribs and brisket really weren't. The brisket especially was very disappointing as it was dry and tough. The sides were fine, so if you go for other options your experience might be fine (but not great).

Went here last month and really enjoyed the food, the pulled pork was fantastic and the coleslaw was perfect if you like it creamy! It was my favorite! I consider myself a coleslaw connoisseur!! The pickled onions and side of pickles was a great touch! The service was very quick. Will definitely be back!

On December 26, I ordered two burritos, one with fries, one with salad, and an eggroll from Texas Jack through the Toast app. Familiar with their service, I anticipated a satisfying meal for myself and my family, who were eagerly awaiting their lunch. However, upon opening the food, our excitement turned to dismay as I discovered a sizable piece of plastic protruding from one of the burritos. Apprehension set in as I considered the implications for our health, especially for my kids. I promptly called the store and spoke with Brenda, a manager whose condescending and passive tone left much to be desired. Despite explaining the severity of finding plastic in our food, Brenda dismissed the issue with an aggressive stance, offering only a potential refund for one burrito. The lack of empathy and refusal to acknowledge the broader risk to our meal’s quality and safety left me deeply unsatisfied. In a state of disbelief, I called back after uncovering more plastic in the remaining half of the burrito. Nani, another manager, stepped in and demonstrated the leadership qualities I expected. She efficiently addressed the issue, requesting and promptly reviewing the photos and videos I provided as evidence. Nani’s swift response, within 8 to 10 minutes, offered a glimmer of hope in an otherwise distressing situation. This incident raises serious concerns about Texas Jack’s processes and quality control. As a customer, I believe immediate refunds should be the default response to such incidents, coupled with a genuine effort to understand the gravity of their oversight. My trust in Texas Jack has been irreparably damaged, not just due to the plastic in my food, but more so because of the dismissive attitude during conflict resolution. I caution others to exercise vigilance if considering dining at Texas Jack, as the incident I experienced points to potential process and quality control issues that compromise the safety of their meals. My sincere thanks go to Nani for handling the situation with the urgency and professionalism that one would expect from a manager in resolving a customer’s concerns.
