The service of each clerk is very proactive and friendly. It feels like a small Italian shop. The taste of the food is not as Italian, it is very ordinary. The pizza dough does not display the characteristics and flavor of the 900-degree log oven. It may be due to the different raw materials and fermentation methods. It feels too clean and lacks the flavor of Italian small shops. My favorite for the whole meal is the salad, the vegetables are very fresh. Ice cream and tiramisu and espresso are relatively common. But I would like to express my gratitude to all their employees for their hard work. I hope they can make more wonderful progress in food. thanks.

Let’s start by clarifying that this pizzeria specializes in Neapolitan pizza. A lot of people complain that their pizzas are too soft but Neapolitan pizza are supposed to be thin and soft… if you are looking for thin but sturdy, you want NY style pizza so don’t bother with coming here because unsurprisingly you will be disappointed. We got the Diavola Pizza and the Capricciosa Pizza. Absolutely loved the Diavola. Flavor was on point and so was the overall cook of the pizza. The Capricciosa pizza wasn’t impressive and was borderline soggy. Wouldn’t get that again. So I suspect the simpler pizzas with less toppings / drier toppings might taste better here and the more toppings esp wetter toppings might make the pizza softer / soggy. I’d have to go back and try other flavors to see if that’s true but with how good Diavola turned out, I would go back and give other pizzas a shot when I’m craving Neapolitan pizza. Also, super friendly staff and it’s cool you get to watch them make the pizzas real time on the TV in the dining room!

Delicious. Reminded me of when I went to Naples and ordered 2 pizzas at the top two places. I’d say if you live in the DC metropolitan area you can save several thousand dollars by skipping your Naples trip and coming here. However, it’s easy to enjoy it so much that you’ll use those same thousands of dollars on pizza here. They even have a TV live feed from the main dining area so you can see your creation being made.

The place doesn’t look very impressive, but the food was actually pretty good. The pizza was freshly made, and you can see the oven when entering the door. We also enjoy the brussels sprouts. Since it’s made to order, it takes some time to wait for the food (probably ~20 minutes), so it’s better to come here when you are not in a rush.

Great food and surprisingly no wait time for a table. Staff was very friendly, especially the host. The food was amazing and so delicious. We were a group of four, ordered zucchini sticks for an app and then 3 pizzas and a pasta bowl. Definitely can order 2 pizzas for 3 people. All in all a great experience. The only downside was the waiter never came to offer refills or more drinks. That for me is a big factor in quality of service. The food was great!

First impression of the outside decor was amazing. Yellow Fiat being a mascot was great touch. That being said, their pizza was not as great as their decor. Margarita was OK. Truffle mushroom pizza was disappointing. Mushroom smelled old, and was very vinegary. and quite slimy. I could smell the truffle oil but it was probably touch too overpowering. Cream sauce was too salty IMO, making overall pizza very salty for creamy pizza. Maybe the pizza I chose wasn't their greatest menu but that particular pizza wasn't that good.

Looking for Neapolitan pizza? You will find it here. Thin crust, slightly charred, baked in stone oven. You can see the life feed of the pizzaiolos stretching the dough while you wait, which is not that much, 10 mins. The place offers lots of options for pizza based on 2 sauces: red & white. This time we tried the calabrese and spinach, respectively. The service is fast and good. I see myself returning for more pizza here.

So far so yummy both smelling and looking. Fun place for friends and with outdoor seating. Server served with blank expression but somehow you could see the undertone eye roll of over it and unamused (which is fine bc there’s no requirement that says they have to be any type of way, customer service is changing and that’s ok). The arancini appetizers outshined all the other hot food. Cold pizza tasted better next day when crust softened. Lots of basic wine and beer selections. Limonsecco best drink on table.

Delicious Neapolitan pizza. We especially liked the Onion Tart pizza with carmelized onions, gruyér bacon, and Italian cream.

Best Napoleon pizza in the area. The pizzas were good though one of them was a little too wet, the dough became soggy. Also I wish the AC weren't so cold, because the pizza got cold in one minute. Pizzas were great though very expensive for the portions. Service was great.

Great food and great staff. Came here on Christmas Eve after spending some time downtown and was not disappointed with the reviews. Enjoyed the camera in the dining room allowing you to watch your pizzas being made!!

Great Neapolitan style pizzas for an alright price. The arancini had a really good texture and the service staff was very friendly and accommodating. Next time I go I'll probably try a lighter pizza as the Caivano was very greasy (due to having so much meat) but it was still very flavorful. I do wish the pizzas were sliced into more than 4 slices but that's not really an issue. Not a ton of indoor seating so getting carry out or going during off hours is probably a good idea.

Closest to the real authentic italian pizza I’ve tasted in the area so far. Real firepit charred pizza crust topped with fresh ingredients. These are not your typical salty, greasy, and dry pizza. These are baked to its perfection with simple but perfectly seasoned fresh and juicy ingredients. They would definitely taste better when dining in than delivered since pies are so delicately baked to its perfection. Good wine options and loved the italian vibe in the dining area. Will definitely come back to try all of their pizza!!!

Pizza is top notch. Best in the dc area. The dough is chewy but not overly so. They get some nice char on the crust. Prices are good. Not a giant increase because they said that there was inflation. Did they not get the memo that they can charge more and blame it on the economy? Anyway just my rant. Get the meatballs too. And the arugula salad.

Everyone was recommending this place for good pizza. It is brick over pizza and very delicious. Though I am picky about pizza so I only gave this 4 stars because I think the crust could have more integrity. We also got arrancini which were good too. The staff was nice and the place was small but the vibes were good. All in all I'd recommend this place.

Friends introduced us to this great place last weekend. We're already planning our return. We each had made-to-order personal pizzas and shared. Every bite tasted better than the last. All of the ingredients are great and the crust is just about the best I've ever tasted. Try this place. You won't be sorry.

How this restaurant was ever certified as Vera Pizza Napoletana is crazy. The Margherita pizza is nothing like what it should be. There are other VPN certified restaurants to visit. Stay away from this one if you are seeking true Neapolitan pizza.

When you visit after moving 2000 miles away, it’s one of those places you get excited to visit. The sausage arancini has a wonderfully salty, crispy crust with a gooey center. It’s seriously hard to go wrong. The margherita pizza is simple and delicious. The onion tart pizza is surprisingly sweet and savory with the caramelized onions and bacon atop a tender crust and Gruyère cheese.

Excellent pizza. We split two plus an appetizer and had plenty to take home. Great wine pairings as well. Cute outdoor seating area. The staff seemed knowledgeable about the ingredients of the pizza which shows they definitely know their product.
