Breathtaking memorial honoring women who served in the United States Armed Forces. It is located in a beautiful central location. We were impressed by the entire memorial and large exhibit space inside.

I've visited the this memorial many times over the past 7 years that I have lived in the DC area, but this was the first time my husband had joined me for a visit. We took the metro to Arlington as that is the easiest way to visit both Arlington National Cemetery and the Militay Women's Memorial. Once through security at the cemetery main entrance, it is a short walk to the memorial building. Once inside we were warmly greeted by a couple ladies who asked if we had visited before and if we needed assistance finding anything. I am a member of the non-profit that assists with funding the memorial and registered woman military member; so I am very familiar with the building, but it was still nice to have someone point out exhibits that had changed since my last visit and welcome my husband to this beautiful space dedicated to women's service in the US military. I'm glad we came and we will comeback again soon. Thank you.

The Womens Memorial is absolutely awesome. The staff are superb. Great gifts hope. As a female veteran, and a Chartered Member, I served from July 1972 to 1978, it was great to visit again and celebrate along side of other veterans.

As a Desert Shield and Storm veteran this was an amazing experience and very moving. Women from Deborah Sampson in the Revolutionary War to the 13 women we lost in Desert Storm our stories, our PTSD and our sacrifice needs to be acknowledged. This museum means a lot to us that are here and to those that are our future.

Another awesome stop in DC. This is a "newish" memorial that has been kept in excellent condition. My veteran wife LOVED IT!!! Bonus: great gift shop with really low prices!!!

I salute all women who served and serving in the military. I got a little teary eyed here because I feel so proud to be apart of this group. I am amazed at what we had done and what we will do. This place mean a lot to me.

As a Veteran of the US Army, I am super impressed with this memorial. The exhibits are extensive and creative, and the building itself is just incredible. It is a testament to those of us who served and sacrificed. A must see when visiting Arlington.

This memorials water feature was being worked on. It is hard to tell but on the left hand side is an entrance to women's history with a store. Glad we spotted it and went in. So go check it out we almosted missed it. They are not able to put out signs because of Arlington Cemetery Rules.

This place is breath taking beyond words. To see the level of sacrifice of trailblazers made deserve the memorial and so much more. It's a great honor to meet, walk and live among these treasures who believe/believed in their call to duty and action.

This was a surpise stop while visiting arlington national cemetary. We didn't know there was a women's memorial. It was sad to read how women have been ignored and treated as lesser during history. And these women all volunteered and many lost their lives, just like the guys did. Really worth stopping in and reading each area of history

Beautiful day out and a big turnout for Arlington, but not for this amazing exhibit. Went to DC as a youngin, and wound up in the Army straight out of HS. I went for a small trip down and I didn't know there was even a memorial there. It truly is an amazing tribute to the female veterans and I thoroughly enjoyed the hall. I wish there was more signage for it and a little more admiration towards women in the service. God speed my fellow Veterans!!

A most visit while visiting the area. Excellent experience. There is much to learn about the military contributions women have done throughout history in the USA and still making every day. The museum is well presented, full of character, and very informative. Ms. Donna Houle took her time to be our guide and really made the experience unforgettable.

The museum has free entry, a gift shop, several spaces & rooms and is a straight shot (view and distance) away from the Lincoln Memorial; next to Arlington Cemetery.

It was nice to see a place dedicated to the history of women in military service of our country. My mom is a veteran as well as myself and my sister. Some of the videos here that I can't share need to be seen by more than just the few that wander inside. There were thousands of visitors there today and we were the only ones to visit the women's memorial.

The Military Women's Memorial was worth the trip. The history of past historical events of women that serviced was so moving that it inspired me. I saw how these women paved a way for me as a woman who served in the Navy. Seeing the present day accomplishments of the women who are breaking barriers is making a better future now... for the future Military Women. B. Madonna (Retired Navy) Raleigh NC

Nice to see a place were they recognized the women in the service! My wife, son, and both daughters served...nice to see that their service mattered. Interest facts and displays...sad to know some didn't make it.

Small and quiet place. Interesting that Dubai and Kuwait are top donors for this museum. Not sure if their women's rights records are reflective? Maybe I'm wrong about that. Nice gift shop and clean bathrooms but not a must see item at Arlington.
