One of the most famous presidents of the United States of America. Did not complete a full term as president but is the well known and famous in the world. We lived visiting the Cemetery today having Family who served.

Must visit in my book, seeing a the man and women risk their lives to protect our great country and freedom is very emotional. We need to teach future generations the great values and teach them to cherish the lives they will have and enjoy so they can pass it down to their youngs and continue to thrive this country. These man and women deserve the continuation of the great success of this great nation they die for!!!🙏🙏🙏

Arlington Cemetery was an amazing and somber experience! A reminder that freedom isn’t free! Seeing the eternal flame and Kennedy’s gravesite was a reminder of the danger and sacrifice involved in being president. Though we bicker politics, the fact is we have brave individuals who are willing to sacrifice to keep America free so that we can even have different points of view. At the site, there is a wall of presidential quotes. A line forms to see these. There are many veterans here, some wear identifying articles like hats and pins. My advice is be respectful, let them go first. Many are very emotional.

Great memorial, saw the laying of the wreath and this is a very prestigious honor to get. We got in for free because we were with a school group on spring vacation and will be back in someday.

A must if you are in the area. Pretty big place so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. The trolley is a good option if your group has people that tire easily or they are unable to walk for a long period of time, or if it is really hot outside. Other than that the walk is not super bad especially on a windy day.

Beautiful eternal flame inside the Arlington National Cemetary. The grave site of President John F Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.

Very emotional place to be and almost surreal to stand over the grave of this amazing man. There is a hop-on hop-off bus that drives through the garden for $18. I dont recommend that unless the weather is to bad, to hot or if you´re a handicap. Parking is available for $3 per hour. Clean and nice restrooms are inside the visitors center.

Very surreal somber experience. Very interesting though. I did not realize that Jackie Kennedy was also there. If you are in Washington DC, you must take a trip over to Arlington cemetery. Worth it.

It is a spiritual experience to visit this sacred place. Spend a little time and learn about Kennedy before you come to get the most out of it. Best of speech excerpts are engraved in the granite nearby. Sad and sweet to see Jacqueline Kennedy they're too now. Along with some children. Kennedy was a great president, a good leader, and sometimes the Good die Young. "Has anybody here seen my good friend John? I looked around and he was gone..." I shed a tear when I listen to this 1960s ballad by Dion. Give it a listen and let it pull on your heartstrings along with the reverent beauty of this amazing place that helps fuel a sincere and healthy patriotism. Getting in was free but parking cost us about 10 bucks. Well worth it. Go for a leisurely stroll or take their trams up the hills. Make sure you are at the tomb of the unknown soldier at the top of the hour to see The changing of the guard, or the laying of a reef by an old veteran or two.

It was an adventure going towards his grave. It is indeed a beautiful place. Lots of people going here as well. There is a paid parking garage for visitors but it is in reasonable price. Love the place overall.

Before completing our short visit to Arlington Cemetery just after 5 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon in early June, my son & I hurried up to see the President John F. Kennedy Grave Site. We had the place to ourselves to gaze down on the graves of the former president and his wife. Other family members are also buried close by. The eternal flame adds that poignant touch to this special place It was so silent and peaceful up there. And I'm so pleased that I had the chance to visit such an important last resting place of such an iconic leader of the United States of America during truly difficult times.

An impressive and moving place when you look at the huge amount of people who gave their lives for the different wars they fought in. Besides that you will also find the graves of some important people who played an important role in the history of America and the rest of the world like JF Kenned.

It was very beautiful. If you need to go for a walk/run this is perfect. They have many different areas in the cemetery. It’s definitely a whole day trip to enjoy everything to do there. I would say just make sure you have good walking shoes since you will go up some hills and walk all around.

Completely sobering experience. Cut out at least 3.5 hours to do the self- tour of Arlington. It is absolutely worth it. There are a lot of uphill paths. Call ahead to schedule a ride on tour if you are unable to walk. Children WILL get tired... haha! My favorite part of DC!

A simple yet reverent monument for President Kennedy. The view up the hill is nice. JFK's famous speech is inscribed along a wall. No entry fee.

I want to know who was the first person to toss a coin onto Kennedy's grave. It won't make your wish come true, and Kennedy wouldn't care about your 10 cents (Jacqueline wouldn't care either). Is this your way of expressing respect?

What a wonderful experience. There is such a feeling of reverence in this area.

Chills across my skin, a pit in my stomach, and tears in my eyes. Kennedy, his wife, and 2 infant daughters and the eternal flame. Talk to the tour guides and listen to stories and legends surrounding this place. Loved all of Arlington.

A good place for quiet reflection on family, friends, society. Especially on a cool March morning when there were few other tourists.

Having only been to ANC once (at least that I can recall) for an assignment years ago it was great to visit again with the Jr NBA Court of Leaders. One of the first stops we had was the eternal flame for JFK. It was amazing to finally see this in person, I only wish we had more time to take in the entire site before the cemetery closed.

The quotes from JFK resonate with me still today- “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country?”

For a history buff like my husband it was an amazing sight and experience, the memorial was beautiful and the eternal flame and quotes were inspiring.

You feel the peace in you while paying a visit to the site. President JFK, his wife, brother and daughter are all laid to rest in the same site. The forever burning flame ignites a service to this nation and everyone working for the good of the people.

Beautiful place to go and see the sunset. Also a good place to see the Lee house. JFK loved seeing the house and could look at it forever. That is why he is there. So much history and his wife started the flame.

This is the first time I visited a grave of a non friend or relative. While there I could only think of what would have been if this great man would have accomplished had he not been assassinated

The eternal flame is a great honor for our late great president John F Kennedy JFK.
