Casual to upscale seafood place with pleasant and relaxing atmosphere with spa like music. They had about 5 different types of ceviches and the one I tried was delicious. We also had these breaded shrimp on top of fried plantains. So good! Service was just a little slow but we were not in a hurry.

Really nice place to have food. The ambience is quiet pleasant. Each and every component of the interior is spectacular. Coming to the food, the cuisine served here is inspired from the Pacific. I had tried the prawns, and it was really well cooked and delicious. Being an Indian, I found the taste quite similar to the traditional food in South India. Also I had the blackberry juice, with grapes, cinnamon and honey. It's a real delight to the taste buds. A must visit place for anybody who wants to try something that's really traditional and different.

The owner flies in the seafood direct from the Pacific coast of Colombia through local fishermen that his sister organizes. It doesn't get fresher or more local than that! If you're unsure of where to eat make sure to head to Bakuru, you won't be disappointed. Also ask for a round of viches (photo), tropical aromatic drink.

Amazing food , everything is delicious and very innovative. If you like sea food and fish is a must visit. Chorizo from smoked tuna and ceviche for appetizer are amazing. We dined 6 people and all main dishes were delicious, tried all deserts and all were present suprises .

This place is a true gem! The tables, water and beer glasses, and table decoration are handcrafted, and you’re surrounded by photographs of the region that inspires the food - taken by the chef himself. And the food is outstanding! We had 2 ceviches, the camaron cream, patacones with shrimp covered in coconut, followed by a vegan tropical main dish, a seafood stew and pork ribs. We couldn’t resist getting two desserts which were a wonderful end to the already great evening! Every single dish was an explosion of taste and you feel like having visited the northern region of Bahia Solano. This place was an incredible discovery for us! Please do yourself a favor and go there if you’re in Armenia! Thank you Tatiana for an unforgettable time!

This restaurant is a jewel in the Quindío. You can't fail with anything you take there. I've been coming back over and over trying different dishes anytime and everything is just perfect. You won't find such flavors and quality around. The desserts as well. Some of them are quite unique from the house. The people are also super helpful and nice to speak with. The shop with handmade and organic products is something very special as well. Couldn't help myself either to get plans, organic tooth paste and even a mirror. This place is an entire experience. 100% recommended.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Colombia over the years and I have to say this place is one of the top 5 restaurants in the country. Andres the owner has a real passion for food and culture of the Choco region. We really enjoyed the Cazuela, Coconut Langostines, Tuna Machedo, and smoked tuna sausages. The coconut cake was an excellent desert. If you are in Filandia, this is a must visit!

I recently ate at Bakuru and absolutely loved it! They serve traditional Colombian pacific dishes, but with a unique twist that really sets them apart. Awesome fish and seafood flavors, everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and I was so impressed by how different it was from typical Colombian cuisine. It's perfect for large groups, so don't hesitate to bring all your friends.

Bakuru is a special restaurant where we enjoyed unusual dishes, unique to the Pacific coast. I would not miss it if visiting Filandia. The botanical boutique in the back corner of the restaurant sources essential oils from all over Colombia and with these creates the mist wonderful face oil.

Amazing restaurant. The food was amazing. Pacific coast inspired cuisine, flavor was delicious. If you like seafood and you are visiting filandia you cant miss this restaurant. Service is fast and very respectful, also if you love dogs and the owner is there, Alfredo the french bulldog will greet you.

The atmosphere, service and food was perfection. From the very beginning we were greeted and had the chef explain the origins of the recipes and the source of the ingredients. They had an English menu available and communication with the chef and servers was very easy. We started with fantastic cocktails that featured a balanced blend of fruit, liquors and herbs. I would highly recommend the calamari, tuna ceviche and soup appetizers. All of the entrees we ordered far surpassed our expectations. The meal was finished with an avocado and chocolate popsicle, some sort of coconut bon bons and a corn cake in a sweetened milk sauce. Every dish was plated beautifully and the drinks were served in unique upcycled glasses on a wooden base. The best meal we had travelling in the Quindio region.
