Incredible national park with beautiful landscapes. The paramillo is gorgeous! The summits are demanding but absolutely worth it. I recommend a multiple day trip through the park.

Beautiful park with amazing views. The trek into the park is quite difficult with a lot of elevation change. It's also very muddy! The locals all were rubber boats to walk around for good reason, in some sections of the path the mud is almost knee deep

A very large National park high in the Andes mountains. Famous for the Wax palms, tallest palm trees in the world. You can climb up to top of the mountain on a very rocky trail or go by horseback. Very scenic and lush.

Spontan mit dem Auto hingefahren. Für 178.000 Eintritt zwei Personen mit Auto. Es wird dann in Kolonne gefahren. Vier Stopps bis auf 4450 m hoch. Erklärt wird in Spanisch. Es war ein Erlebnis. Sogar PKW ohne 4x4 waren dabei. Top, wenn das Wetter mitspielt.

Great guides, but it'll be helpful if you know some Spanish. Right now (2018) you can't go to the glacier on San Ruiz because of volcanic activity, but its still worth the trip. You'll see a variety of ecosystems that are vital for Colombia's production of fresh water.

(Translated by Google) Very organized and careful, it is definitely a place that we must visit. I enjoyed his tour too much, there were guides at different stops talking about the place, the formations, the glaciers, etc. Children under 6 years of age cannot enter, nor people with blood pressure problems and over 65. The entrance is controlled and they do not allow it after 2 pm. I was surprised that there is no longer access to what was previously called the refuge (where I once stayed), because there is seismological activity right there. You ascend to about 4500 meters of altitude and the temperature that touched us reached - 2 degrees. You have to bundle up very well, if possible go with thermal clothing.

(Translated by Google) It is a beautiful place, full of the wild beauty of the moor, the guides are wonderful. I recommend going well prepared with warm clothes that you must add in layers as you go up. Due to volcanic activity, it is not possible to ascend on foot or to the glacier.

Incredible place. Beautiful scenery with great tour guides that you can arrange at arriving. The way up is short, the complete abscense of vegetation at the top make it surreal for a tropical country. There's usually no snow, but if you're lucky and get some, it's stunning. If you want to know other white mountains you can go to Santa Isabel snow peak. That's my next destination. You have to make arrangements in advance with official state tour guides.

One of the best places of the world. If you want to come and have a good time with the paramos and the glaciers and a cold but kind climate this will be a perfect place to come and relax from your work, your city or whatever of problems that maybe you have. Coming to this place is to recharge your energy and acquire all the good vibes that the nature and the mountains can give to you. Camp and walk over this place and open your mind to the beautiful things and places that are not often shown to the average people. Profit a awesome moment to share a bit of you with you and meditate what are you doing and what are you needing really.

This is a beautiful park with excellent hikes in the páramo ecosystem. A guide is required by the park and is also needed because they have large 4x4 trucks capable of getting up the extremely challenging roads to the trailheads and lodges. We used Terra Camino Turismo, who were excellent.

Amazing experience at this stunning national park and got to see and photograph the rare Buffy Helmetcrest Hummingbird. I believe it is only found at this park!!

Beautiful winding and dizzing road that can be driven to with amenities throughout. As someone who usually stays on the coast, the change in elevation was definitely noticed upon arrival. The locals sold tea made from Coca, which helped greatly with elevation sickness and the headache I experienced. Beautiful place and very desolate, great place for quite a reflection. Bring sunscreen and cover your face at the peak, burned like a rasin here.
