👍👍 If you go to this lookout, dont forget to go directly right when you got op from the stairs. The main lookout is OK but if you follow the small path for 100 meters there is a wooden lookout which was way nicer. People often mention view, Salento, stairs,

For the low amount of effort it takes to get to the view point there's really no reason not to do it. Is it the most spectacular view? No. You'll spend an enjoyable 20 minutes up there and move on. It also gives you a good image of how the town is laid out. Instead of going down the stairs to get back go left down a little side trail. There are a few shops including an amazing ceramics shop that actually has high quality souvenirs made right there.

Great place for sightseeing. You can see a lot of the mountains here. The restaurants around here have several vegetarian and vegan options. It's a bit of a hike to get up here, but it's worth it.

Nice viewpoint of Salento and surroundings. Worth the climb. Only 200-something stairs. Go for it!

Just ok, not very spectacular, but as it will only take you 5 min max its also a small effort. Go here if you have some spare time during sunset.

6 flight of stairs, 242 steps to the top for the view of Salento. The Salento 3D letter signage is no longer there. - 2022/08/06

Nice viewpoint with a couple of stalls to purchase snacks and drinks. This viewpoint primarily looks over the town

Great place to overlook the city. Also nice for sunset, but the sun hides behind some trees, so you will just see reflection on the city and surrounding mountains.

A moderate hike up to the top but a very nice view of Salento and surrounding mountains. The top is very simple and a little run down.

To go up there are several sections of stairs that are a little steep. There are seats to rest between sections. At the top you can enjoy a good view of the city and, in the opposite direction, of the mountain range.

A very beautiful, picturesque place that preserves its traditions and architecture, very commercial.

If you visiting Salento you must watch the sunset from here, it's just amazing. Besides climbing the stairs will help you burn the calories you probably would have eaten on the way up.

Viewpoint from which you can see almost all of Salento. Upstairs there are street vendors with many products. You have to climb a lot of stairs but it has good views and steps to rest at the top

Definitely worth all the stairs. Once you have your photos from the top, follow the path down through the play area to the north to get to the second view point which is better. Then you can also follow the road down from there and avoid the stairs.

Great place to visit to get a glimpse of the valley. If you want a better view you will have to actually go to the Cocora Valley Trail. There are two ways up. You can go up through the Calle Real or through a path that connects the Mirador de Salento with Mirador Alto de la Cruz.

After you catch your breath after the steep climb you’ll appreciate the beautiful view from up top. On one end you’ll see the village and where you came from, and on the other the green valley that surrounds the village.

Nothing remarkable but a nice view of the village.

👍👍 At this viewpoint you have an amazing view over the nature around Salento. I also recommend walking around this area because there are fewer tourists here. There is a path between 'Mirador de Salento' and 'Mirador Alto de la Cruz' that is not shown on Google Maps. You should visit both viewpoints b...
