Extremely noisy place. It's right above Avenida Bolivar which is a very busy road at all times of the day. We first got a room with a street view and it felt like we were in the middle of a highway. We asked for a room change in the morning which must be a common request because I didn't even get to explain why! Then they gave us second room from the street but it didn't help much because the corridor is open to the street. Also, we originally booked two nights and later added on third night and got charged a high price for the additional night! It's a shame, otherwise it'd be a good place, with clean rooms and nice staff.

After a really rough day we ended up in this hostel without planning to and we felt sooo welcome. It's a really nice hostel and the owner Maria is amazing, she helped us a lot on the next day. Even though the city is more like a layover place, we would totally stay here again 🤗

I missed my last bus to Salento and decided to stay at this hostel overnight on a rainy day. Staff was extremely helpful and they all speak very good English. Hostel is very funny and very clean. I would definitely recommend a stay for solo travelers in this hostel.

Incredible experience. Very clean and modern. We had a massive private room with two queen sized beds (for two people) and a huge bathroom. Very clean. A bit hot but they provided fans. Also a TV which was nice for a hostel it felt like a hotel. The staff was extremely helpful with providing suggestions. They hooked us up with a great coffee tour with Don also through Caficultur in Buenavista. And they also let us use their bathroom after we had checked out to refreshen up before our bus back to Medellin. Not that centrally located, but the city isn’t that big so it’s easy to get around. And the area the hostel is in feels safe and a bit less hectic. Plenty of restaurants nearby and really close to Parque de la Vida.

Really great hostel staff is super friendly 25000 a night for a dorm room and I had it to myself most of the time. The hostel is very new and fresh. Super clean and the little dog the cruises around is a bit shy but very friendly. One thing it could benefit from is being in a more touristy place because then they would be very very busy but if you're looking to stay in Armenia you won't find a better place

Wanderlust Hostel was great. They let you keep your things there even if you aren't able to check in. Everything they have us very modern. They also have a cute dog that will watch you eat.

Wanderlust is THE BEST option if you are planning to visit the Quindio province. The hostel is located on the main street of Armenia, but besides that it has many points to highlight. First of all, we appreciated the comfort and the cleanliness of the dorm and the common areas. The dorm was spacious and meticulously designed for travellers (I loved the gently space of the closet under the bed to organize my stuff and the fact that each bed had its own plug). Also the common areas are great. A part from the kitchen and the comfy space in front of the recepcion, there was a lovely sitting room with a TV and sofas to enjoy reading a good book or watching a movie. I have to point out the outdoor spaces as well, because you can find a nice patio and a garden with nice paintings on thw walls and a hammock from which you can see the best sunset in Armenia. There is also a vegetable patch which reflects the hostel's concern for the environment and their project of sustanability. Secondly, Armenia is just the perfect place to stay and visit all its sorroundings. The coffee area and Salento and the Cocora Valley can be easily reached by the bus that stops just a hundred meters away from the hostel door. It is also remarkale that most of these touristic places are less than 1h away from the city. Thirdly, I have to talk about the Wanderlust team, because every single person who works in there is great. They are always willing to help their guests and guide them to make their trip much more interesting. It's always good to count on some local advise and that is how we discovered the most amazing experience we've ever had: a coffee tour made by Leo, a peasant with a thrilling lifestory to tell his visitors and an expert in the coffee making process. One more thing about the staff in Wanderlust is that they always have nice gestures such as leaving different fruits on the kitchen's table for everyone to enjoy them. We loved making orange juice every morning with the delicious Colombian oranges. Finally, I would remark its pet friendly condition. Although this time I wasn't travelling with my dog, I know how hard it is to find a place suitable for our four feet friends, so I would definetly choose Wanderlust to stay with my pet if I bring him in another occasion. Also there's the thing about Arya, the one in charge of the hostel security. Arya is a lovely Boston Terrier who welcomes you every time you walk in the hostel. I loved her company while lying on the puffs or sitting on the sofa. I'll miss all the Wanderlust team so bad, including Arys!! So, it is easy to feel cosy and stay longer than the days you had planned, as it happened to me and my boufriend. All the best for all of you and thank you!! <3
