I have stayed at this hostel many times both in the dorm and in private rooms. I love everything about it. The location is perfect right by the main square and the hostel itself is beautiful. Its a very calm place, perfect for reading a book, playing cards or drinking some wine. The staff is also amazing, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Salento.

A girl from the staff were super unfriendly. I never seen something like that in all south america. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT A CHILL STAY AT SALENTO. I was kicked from the hostel a mid cooking lunch just because they forgot to tell me at check in that after checkout I cannot use the kitchen. And that's not the first occasion. They forgot to tell so many things, and later they were mad for not knowing that. As another example, the kitchen closes at 22, but of course they didn't tell that at check in, and at 22:10 I was sent to eat outside. I have to say, the hostel itself was good. Nice facilities, clean and good location. The rest of the hostel staff were friendly. It's just the last occasion that left me astonished.

Hostal Tralala Is located very close to the main square, on a quiet street in the lovely town of Salento. The rooms are very nice and comfy, and although the whole building is old and not very soundproof, the noise is not a problem. The staff is super friendly and any information you need is easily available. The wifi is great and reliable. Super hot showers are an AMAZING respite from the chilly rains that are common

This hostel was incredible…. Extremely helpful and friendly. I stayed in a private room with a wonderful hot shower. You can rent rain boots and they offer free coffee. Really above my expectations!

Brilliant brilliant place! <1min from the main square where all the willys jeeps are, very clean and with great hosts. They offer (very useful) welly boots to rent at a very cheap prices and a brilliant laundry service!

Great service and help with sightseeing. Staff was very friendly and kind. Rooms were comfortable and the bed even had a duvet. Only thing I didn't love was the limited privacy with the on-suite bathroom and our room was right beside the entrance stairs so it was a bit loud. Overall great value for the cost and I would return!!

One of the most well-thought through hostels I've ever stayed. They know exactly what a traveler wants and needs, for a very fair price. Hot showers too!

Pretty hostel in a great location also helpful and friendly staff. Our private room was next to the kitchen and on the corner of the building next to the street so it was noisy - with earplugs it was fine though. Excellent value. Highly recommended! 👌🏻

Nice hostel, good location, but very noisy! Read on... The hostel is in a great location in the town, very close to the main square (1 block) and it had plenty of good amenities (including two kitchens!), plus nice shared spaces. There are also enough shared bathrooms for there to rarely be an issue. Unfortunately, the rooms are very noisy! You will be able to hear perfectly everything that goes on both outside and inside the hostel, even down to the quietest conversation. The same is true for anyone outside your room. If you are not the heaviest sleeper, it might be best to stay outside the town. The walk is fine!

Clean, comfortable beds, well equiped kitchen

Had a lovely relaxing stay at this hostel for two nights. Warm welcome in a safe environment and cosy house. I had a single room with en-suite bathroom, the shower was strong and hot. Wifi a little weak in the room because it’s on the outside well and on lower floor, but great everywhere else. Lovely place!
