Great place with almost no tourists, beautiful nature, a lot of birds and amazing waterfall in the middle of jungles. The road to the place is rough but doable on a regular car. Please note that you can’t go on the track to the waterfall without a local guide, since it’s a protected area. Entrance + guide cost us 15000 COP

If you are a person that loves the nature the forest and endemic animals this is your place in the coffee region of Colombia. This is a obligatory place to come if you love really the natural things that the nature can share with you. Over here you can have all the view of the different 3 types of forest that exists over here and that this natural park has renovated and had conserved in the best way possible. There are 3 different walks that you can have here in this splendid natural park knowing that you are going to see awesome birds of a lot of different species of all the colors shapes forms and all the callings that they do in the forest. Also it is really possible to see the howling monkeys that normally they are near and as this you can take some good photos of theme and you can see also their behavior in nature, and ofcourse you can maybe hear the howling of this ones. This place presents to be a eco-hotel also so give it a chance and stay in a beautiful house in the nature far from the city and near to the mother nature.

You can enter only on a guided tour which runs at 10:30am everyday. There may be additional tours at 3:30 on weekends too. Check the Colombian government website for up to date info. Tours are in Spanish only. Our guide was wonderful and very patient, he spoke super slowly and clearly in Spanish so we could understand. The road in is absolutely beautiful. Very fun to cycle with a gravel bike. We saw a family of 6 howler monkeys by the bridge along the road in - amazing.

Beautiful park, really nice ranger. The guided tour took 1.30 hours and we were able to spot some monkeys and birds. The road is not in very good conditions

Great place to breath fresh air, to do ecological walks, to be in contact with nature and stay apart from civilization for a while. It's great for bird watching and other animals too, as howling monkeys and gray Foxes. It is also very affordable and it has good food.

A wonderful place with a lot of fauna and flora, a very large and nice place to practice for a walk and a good chat along the way, which makes it a very pleasant place and one of the best in Pereira
