Came here on a whim with my boyfriend. It is a very spacious restaurant with super friendly staff. Our waiter attended to us very quickly and went above and beyond in servicing us. I ordered a salad to start which came with a delicious creamy dressing. For the main course I got the duck, which was impeccable. It came with vegetables, rice & beans. It was so good and filling that I was too stuffed to order dessert, but they were so kind to bring us some fruit towards the end. This is such a wonderful restaurant that delivers an amazing experience. Will definitely be returning!

Great friendly spot conveniently located 8 minutes from the Westchester airport. From the moment you walk in you can just feel the authenticity. We were seated and immediately served bread and Portuguese sausage slices which was nice because we were hungry. The only reason I give 4 stars is because we had told our waiter upon sitting down that we truly only had about 30 minutes before we needed to go to the airport to catch our flight. He said no problem but then did not come back to take our order for more than 15 minutes- which is a bit long even if we didn’t have a flight to catch. I ended up waiving down another employee and explained the situation to them. They took our order and had the food on the table within 5 minutes! It was excellent and the second server who helped us was very great. Hope to visit again when we are not on a time crunch.

A little island of Europe at Silver Lake, an excellent restaurant. Clean, nice interior with double-tableclothed tables, examples of Portuguese tiles, attentive, experienced and polite waiters. Within minutes you feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere. You always get something extra, a bit of a nice surprise: extra side of rice and bean; grapes on ice after your meal; they bring out the irresistible choice of desserts on a plate to your table for you to choose, and then add extra fruit to what you order. The food is excellent! My favorite is the mahi mahi with shrimp sauce. This place can unwind you after a stressful week on a Friday evening; and is big enough for events, wedding dinners.

This place was randomly chosen and I have to say.. incredible! The food was amazing, great wine selection and and overall beautiful experience. Thank you Manny, the owner was the perfect touch to our end of an evening for sure. Life’s too short, enjoy yourself! We will be back!

I was taken here for my birthday and we brought a birthday cake. The servers was excellent!!! The food was very good. My scallops was a little over done but still tasted yummy. The potatoes with the chicken was a little bit too salty for my friends mom but she said her dish was very good otherwise. The seafood salad was really yummy. The trout with almonds was really good too. The server cut and set up the cake wonderfully. This place is a definitely go back to and definitely recommended this place. This place is exceptional. My new place to go.

I chose the place for family Thanksgiving dinner based on its quaint location and reviews. We all were impressed with the menu and a recent visit too Portugal. The 4 course menu had many delicious sounding dishes so choosing was hard. We chose soup, sautéed portobello mushrooms, whole sardines, clams, grilled seafood combo and bouliabase. All soups, juices and sauces were very watery and tasteless. So was the potato garnish. The sardines and grilled seafood were well cooked and good as were the veggies. No complaints on the desert buffet. The atmosphere was great and the service was very attentive. Unfortunately, the food disappointed the 4 of us.

Had a birthday dinner with my daughter. Food was very good. The waiter accidentally spilled wine all over us. It stained our clothes. He offered to pay for the cleaning but we were polite and declined. While the waiter was apologetic, the management never addressed it or offered to compensate for the mishap with a free drink or desert. Charged us full price. Probably because it’s managed by a woman. Most women in management positions don’t know how to run a business.

I heard so many amazing things about this place so I decided to go and check it out. It will say the decor is a little dated, not that that matters to me. The food was excellent and very fairly priced service was excellent. Do you will only one thing that me and my dinner partner were not thrilled with was the classical rock cover tunes that were played. Something a little bit more restaurant like would have been appreciated. I'll definitely go back and I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Excellent seafood. It was a little strange that they served us grapes that look like they should have been thrown away with the brown ends.

Look out! Very mixed bag here. Used to be an excellent restaurant with delicious food, not so much anymore. My wife ordered new England clam chowder, was surprised to find no clams. Salmon pastrami, capers, red onion. No cream cheese, or sour cream. Toast as hard as a rock. Waiter responded this is their usual fare. We won't be back.

We sat at the bar which was nice. We started with the octopus which is very good. Then we had bouillabaisse for dinner with rice and beans. It was tasty. I can't wait to go back

If it wasn’t for the slow, inattentive service, I would have given it 5 ⭐️. It took us a very long time to order, and just as long to receive our food (it was a Friday night, perhaps they were too busy or short-staffed in the dining room and kitchen?). I was really impressed to see that the owner was working as a waiter and he even offered us an extra espresso and after dinner drink, you don’t see that kind of old school dedication very often. The staff is very friendly, but at a fine dining establishment one would expect their wine and water glasses to be refilled. The complimentary appetizer (chorizo) was delicious, and the bread was good quality. We had the octopus appetizer, halibut, and filet mignon. All was excellent, except the filet mignon was rather chewy and under cooked. The espresso was perfect, like you would get at a bar in Europe. I would definitely dine at Aquario again, just hope that the service would be better. They also offer valet parking.

Normally I go to a restaurant, if there are 3 things I like to try, it is considered a good restaurant. Aquario has 10+!!! Absolutely love the Portuguese/ Brazilian cuisine! A fantastic blend of land and sea! The cocktails are awesome. The ambience is at the right level of formality, not too fancy, feels like life.

This was our first visit to the restaurant, which was recommended by two friends. We were very impressed. The food was exceptional, as was the service from our waiter, Tony. The prices were very reasonable, we did not feel rushed. The menu includes many interesting fish items that may be difficult to find in other restaurants in the area. We will certainly be back again!

We were passing by traveling to Allentown PA. We we attracted by the restaurant name. It serves indeed a Portuguese cuisine not so much a Brazilian cuisine. Tony, the server was awesome!

Step into a little slice of Portugal at this charming restaurant in New York. The seafood dish pictured is a symphony of flavors, perfectly cooked.

First off, I have to say that the food here is excellent. However, if you're going on a busy night make sure you allot at least 2 hours to be done with the complete serving of your meal, including paying the check. Even more time should be allowed if you're a party of 4 or more and have to go somewhere afterwards. The food is great, but the service needs a tweaking or two to prevent disappointment in the wait time it takes to finally enjoy it. I would have given a 5 star review because the do put out a tasty bread basket before dinner and fruit and cheese after dinner, but the service was overwhelmed and didn't come back in time.
