Spent 11 nights here at the start of December and honestly was such a lovely clean hotel. Maids came every single day part from 2 days of our holiday, fresh towels and clean bedding, extra pillows and blankets in wardrobe. Can’t speak on it being hot in the hotel room as either it was because we went in December or personally I felt the rooms were just naturally cool. If I went to this hotel again I wouldn’t go half board as the evening food wasn’t the best defiantly needs a whole new menu, maybe more Spanish dishes as I don’t think many people want to go on holiday and eat Shepard’s pie but breakfast was nice. Hotel attracts all types of people from older generations, to family’s to large group bookings. Never heard anything of a night as felt very much that you was in your own apartment. After staying at Aguamar I would consider coming back to this hotel but only bed & breakfast as it was a gorgeous hotel within 10 minutes of the beach and if your able not that far from everything. Very much needed chilled holiday!

One of the Best places in Tenerife. Friendly stuff, clean, good diatances. No bigger problém. One Word - amazing hotel.

Very clean apartment. Quick check in and helpful staff at reception. Daily service from the maid plenty of towels provided and kept the apartment neat. Good pool area and drinks from the bar. Very well located with plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby and Los Christianos bus station to get around. Ceiling fans kept it cool enough, no air con, would have been nicer if there was air con. Would stay again.

If your return flight is late in the day and you check out at midday, unlike the previous years and the surrounding hotels, Aguamar will no longer store your suitcases.you will be left to either leave your belonging unattended in the lounge in a corner or to drag them around with you under the hot sun. This is enough to ruin your last day on the island especially when they don't tell you and you find out 90 min before check out when asking.Go to the H10 on the corner instead who will store it in the room for you.

Currently sat on the balcony of room 210, The room is very clean, the staff are very friendly, the pool is very good (apart from allowing the 10am rugby scrum for the sunbeds) the food is fine with a decent choice and the location is great, just a 10 minute stroll to the beach/harbour. Would have been an extra 3 stars but the beds are awful! The kids beds are so solid and the pull out camp bed is horrible with about 2mm of mattress. Not slept a full night since arriving. £2000 spent and I’d rather sleep on the floor and might just do that with 4 nights to go… surely a company this size can invest in some better beds! Would love to return but come on holiday to rest and relax, not to get 4 hours sleep each night.

Apartment was clean but so so hot at night. No air con just a ceiling fan in the bedroom and the main room. Sleeping was a struggle. Bar cafe was good and pool was clean. It was my husband’s 60th while we were away and we had champagne delivered to our room which was really lovely x

Staff friendly Food and drink excellent Pool good size Good location, not far from beach and center. Room was okay, beds were hard though. Rooms were cleaned 4 days in a row then not cleaned for 3 days. View from the balcony was of a wasteland across the street. Walls are paper thin and can hear people walk past in the corridor. If your room is on the side of the main road then prepare to be woken up every few hours. 4 stars.

We stayed here for 1 week from 16th sept, we booked with Jet 2. Very misleading from jet 2 that it doesn't say on their website that this apartment doesn't have air-conditioning. It does show ceiling fans in the pictures but I think it should be printed in bold on their website about this as it is very misleading. When we arrived at the apartments we said we wanted to do the bed and breakfast as the dinner was too late at 7pm for our 14 month old son. The next morning we went to have breakfast and it was awful, the Sausages are Frankfurt , the eggs were the only thing that looked about normal in a fry. We couldn't eat it so I got my money back straight away for the breakfast. The first 3 nights our 14month old really struggled with the heat, so bad that he was sweating and overheating, in only a nappy and he wasn't sleeping at night. I went to Eduardo jet 2 the next morning and he was very lovely and got an air-con man to come to our room that afternoon with a portable air con. We paid 60euro for this for the rest of our holiday 4nights. Had I known there was no air-conditioning I wouldn't have booked this place. It's fine for my partner and I but not young babies or toddlers especially when hot. The air con man was lovely though and it was a god send, it was worth the 60 euro.The pool area is definatley smaller than the photos but in September there was still enough beds and room in the pool. The pool area is very clean and nice and taken care off everyday. The cleaner lady, I didn't get her name but she goes above and beyond for you, she is so lovely and cleans your room as quick as a whippet and does a good job. The rooms are small and basic but they have everything you need. The staff before I even arrived were very helpful, I had requested a travel cot by email and this was all set up and waiting for us, I'm very grateful for that. If this complex install air con I would definitely stay again but until then I won't. It's a great location, bars and restaurants straight across and to the left, 15 min walk to beach.

Good rooms, with all facilities for self catering. Cooker, kettle, microwave,fridge, television, two single beds in bedroom 1 and bed settee. Dining table four chairs. Generally good. Staff very friendly. Reception most helpful. Breakfast average, evening dinner average. Location not great but for self caterers very good.

Very clean and well maintained apartments with hard working staff. The rooms were nice but very warm during the night with only ceiling fans for cooling. I would recommend self catering or bed and breakfast after staying half board, we eat out on a number of occasions because of the limited choice. There is a lot of local restaurants. No ongoing building work at present, but behind the hotel does look like its due to be developed at some stage.

Lovely hotel! Staff were very accommodating and the rooms - Spotless. Cheap poolside drinks and breakfast buffet. Only pitfall was the noise of surrounding building work - started at 10am every morning! And the Double bed was actually two singles. Other than that, I would definitely recommend staying here :)

We just came back from aguamar went over Christmas for husbands birthday on Christmas day apartments are basic but comfortable enough ....really clean cleaners are so nice hard working reception staff friendly and helpful ...husband recieved a bottle and 2 glasses on his birthday day....lovely touch ....thank you xx

My family (2 adults 2 teens) stayed here over the summer. Overall we had a great stay and will rerurn. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all very friendly part from the life guard, who was very rude. Close to the beach, siam park, monkey park, supermarkets etc. You can book all attractions at the main reception and for some attractions a coach is provided to pick you up and bring you back which is handy. No air con in the rooms part from a fan on the ceiling, you can hire a air con unit if you ask at reception. Our room was fully equipped for the week, cleaned daily and fresh towels daily. Pool opens at 10am and closes between 5-6.30. Food was nice at the pool bar, a bit exspensive though for some things. Overall we had a great stay and looking forward to coming again.

A nice enough place, clean with fans rather than Aircon. It's a bit strange you're not allowed in the pool until after 10am and the grumpy life guard starts stacking the sun loungers from 5pm, making you feel like you should be leaving the pool. The front desk is excellent and friendly, but there are two or three others who come across that they wish they didn't have customers and close the bar early because they just want to.

We stayed here for a week and found the rooms to very pleasant with a large enough balcon with some privacy from other rooms. The location is good being a 5 minute walk from most of the shops and cafés. However, we had to pay for WiFi in the room. The prices were reasonable but it kept dropping out every five minutes and the free WiFi at the pool wasn't great either. I personally found the food to be quite nice, but I am quite boring when it comes to food, but the other people I was staying said it subpar, bone cold and tasteless. The kitchen facilities in the room were good, we got plenty of TV channels and the air-conditioning worked good however it was very noise at night. The pool was nice and the sun was on it for most of the day, the staff were lovely and very helpful. Overall It wouldn't be my first choice of hotel but I would stay here if I had to.

Just came back from 10 days stay. If you go in with your eyes open it's a really great experience. Yes there isn't air conditioning and only ceiling fans in the rooms but knowing this going in meant we were fine with this. Every interaction I had with the receptionists were fantastic: extremely friendly and happy to help. Every staff member I met was friendly and said hello. The pool and poolside were clean (again we knew about the sunbeds being put out and taken back in at a set time so we were fine with this.) Our apartment was clean and had a great view. Thank you for a great holiday.

Came here in September for a weeks holiday. Had a lovely time and was quiet compared to other hotels. We went for the half board option and food was okay. It was a bit of a walk to the beach, however its quite a nice walk going through a small park alongside the SOL hotel. Access to Taxi's are very good too, the helpful Lady behind the desk requested a Taxi for me and within 2 minutes it was at the front of the hotel.

My first impressions: Clean, colourful, modern reception area. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Rooms fairly basic, but clean. Kitchen area well planned and useful if you decide to cook your own food. Maybe fortunate to get a room that was quiet for the time I was there. Located outside main centre, but not too long a walk to beach etc. Tried food in restaurant one night, but wasn't impressed - different theme nights in restaurant, so maybe just went on the wrong night. Overall, I would return to the Aguamar for another holiday and would recommend to friends, though mentioning the restaurant experience.

Stayed for 7 days in a 6 person apartment at half board. Nice and clean pool and terrace, definitely quieter in January but chucked you out at 5.30pm even when the sun was hot. Breakfast was nice with good selection but dinners could be hit or miss. Food was dry, but there was still a lot of options without much repetition and themed nights were fun. Apartment just like the photos, quite plain and dated but did the job. Good kitchen facilities if you did self catering. Cleaning times were a bit late and cleaners were there when we would usually come back to the apartment around 5-6pm. Our main concern was the bathroom which was not shown on photos, sliding saloon doors with no lock and about 1ft of space underneath, let's say you could definitely hear and smell everyone's business! It was truly a bonding experience for us 😂 All in all, location was great, chill atmosphere and nice staff.

Pros: Great location. Good rooms. Cleaned 5 days a week. Cons: pool very deep, extremely cold and mostly shaded during the day. Beds not very comfy. All balconies mostly shaded all day. Room Wi-fi very expensive.

Lovely basic hotel, nice pool area and bar. Very close to restaurants, bars and the beach. Someone stated previously no where to store luggage, this has changed they give you a key card to the luggage room where you leave it and collect when needed. Friendly helpful staff, not bad for a family or couple.

We stayed here at the end of August, we as a family of 4 had a great time, the rooms were more than adequate, although the ceiling fans were a godsend, having a 6 year old with us the pool was a great little area for her and us to relax and play about. We found the food fresh and tasty, all the staff are a credit to the hotel, we will return, thanks for a lovely holiday.

We stayed there July 2022 (Two adults, 3 kids - 17, 15, 11) Hotel is very clean, maid cleaned our room 9 out of the 11 days we were there. There is no aircon in the rooms but two giant ceiling fans. (I was very worried about this but it was actually OK). Pool was nice, sun loungers get setup each morning at 10 which stops people putting towels on them early. Area. Good sized supermarket 3 min walk, lots of bars and restaurants close by, beach was about 10 minutes walk but fine. Taxi to Americas about 6-8 euros if you want something more lively. No entertainment on in the hotel in the evenings so you have to go out, no kids clubs or anything, it did have a soft play room, a naff crazy golf and a pool table. We went self catering, we had the buffet breakfast one morning. Kids enjoyed it because they got to eat lots, but I didn't think the breakfast was particularly good and glad I didn't choose the food option. This hotel was a lot cheaper than others in a similar area, for that reason I would definitely recommend it. If it had aircon it would have been perfect for us.

Have just returned from a weeks holiday and can't fault anything. The location is perfect and the self catering apartments are well equipped with a microwave, kettle, toaster, hob and fridge with freezer compartment. They even provide a washing up sponge, liquid and a tea towel. There isn't air conditioning which was bearable at the end of May. I would definitely return.

We spent 7 nights here and it was amazing. We had our room cleaned and the beds made every day. The rooms are basic, but have everything you need. There’s also a fan in the living room and 1 in the bedroom so you will never get too hot. The walk to the beach is about 15 min which is perfect. We ended up extending our holiday for another 2 nights, unfortunately the hotel was booked out and we had to go somewhere else, which despite its rating of 4 stars, it doesn’t even come close to Aguamar. The view from the room was also incredible. One minor issue is that the beds are on wheels so when you try to put them together there’s a chance they will pull apart during the night. Will definitely be back here!

I really enjoyed my stay here! Staff where friendly and a good laugh, the room was spacious and plenty of storage space the kitchen area had everything you need in it to prep small meal via microwave or hob cooker! The bathroom was a bit dated but it did its job. The pool opens at 10am, the staff put the chairs out in a certain order so it fair (so no Karen's are out throwing towels down at 5am) then the pool shuts at 6pm My only criticism would be no air conditioning in the room they only have fans which didn't help much. The location was fantastic there was a few bars/shops and restaurants literally out side our hotel, a 3 min walk there was even more. The coast with more bars restaurants etc is a 8 min walk from this hotel! I'd give my overall experience here an 8/10. I'd like to say I'd return but the no air conditioning has really but a downer on that.

I had a very bad experience with this hotel. They cancelled my reservation without any reason, three days before my check in.

Perfect for Los Christians. Clean and tidy.

The rooms were really clean which is nice. Unfortunately I had to sleep on a bed couch whoch wasn't that comfortable.
