Terrible service , over charged , refunded, Then a month later when back in the UK charged again for the rental period . in total a 70 Euro rental and so far they have taken 600 GBP. The branch wont deal with you and just refer you to speak to Head office in Madrid to rectify the problem. Currently dealing with Europa car UK to sort this out. Lady with glasses said her name was Emma who did speak English advised she cant help and i need to speak to Head office. I used Europa car as its a world wide brand i thought i could trust but in reality there service doesn't compare to anything i have received int he UK and struggle to get money back that was wrongly taken through there own fault. There are many others in the area i would avoid this branch.

We rented a Renault Clio here. The car was clean, quite new and well equipped as I would expect it from Europcar. However the staff was not on the top of things during the check-in. They mistakenly said it is a petrol car, which could have caused troubles if someone is not taking attention to the sign on the cap or don’t know the difference between petrol and diesel cars. I need to mention that they called me after an hour to let me know about the mistake. When we brought back the car the guys in the parking lot were quite rude as if we should know were to exactly park the car in the crowded garage. There was no final check on the car by the staff, which is obviously making the process faster, but it could also cause troubles if you don’t notice a new scratch etc.

Kind staff, good cars at good price. Taxis are very expensive, rent a car.

Good luck returning the car on sunday, the office is closed without informing you. There is a small paper at the door telling you to park the car in front of a hotel and leave the keys in “our” mailbox(is that the mailbox from Europcar or from the hotel??). After driving around for +/- 35 minutes trying to find a parking spot the parking guard helped us to park the car in front of the hotel.

Got a great deal from europcar all inclusive insurance with nil surcharge if damaged for €49 24hrs. Fast friendly service wouldn't use anyone else

Easy collection and drop off. The office in playas las Americas is central with a narrow steep ramp you have to walk down and back up when collecting and returning your car, beware if you have any mobility issues.

Fast, easy and well priced car rental in Playa de Las Americas, Tenerife. Very courteous staff, clean and tidy vehicles. A great experience!

Fair play to the guys on desk they were helpful on desk…. But don’t get a manual car! Didn’t have the great experience! garage hard work to get out of, let alone incline on way out far to steep!! Especially if getting use to the car first time. Burnt clutched out no spare end of adventure 🙁… best getting car from airport depo not great!

Friendly staff and easy process Only downside is we requested a Seat Ibiza and got a Citroen C3, which we felt was significantly slower than if we got the Ibiza but that is the only complaint I have. Staff was understandable that parking is hard to get in the area so we were able to park at a certain street, document where we parked and sent it onto the employee we were dealing with. It was an easy process and it was nice to have understanding.

We have rented a car for two days. The information we became upfront was very clear. The price is very reasonable and more important no hidden costs. The co-workers were very helpful and polite. The quality and cleanliness of the car were very good. See you next time at Europecar.

shame on us, we have confirmed online booking with credit card and when we collect the car they forbid us to pay with the same card used for the booking, on the site no notice of all this! they invite us to pay cash and after making us withdraw and having us repeat the whole line they forbid us once again the cash payment, the girl at the counter is really inexperienced and clumsy, uninformed about everything and always on the phone, they made us lose two hours due to their inexperience and rudeness, we then rented the car from the nearest company in less than half the time

The whole interaction with the folks at Europcar Playa De Las Americas, Tenerife was friendly & helpful. The price was good, the car was virtually brand new. The staff went above and beyond to help us, with the paperwork, bring the car to us, making suggestions of places for us to explore on their island. We highly recommend them.

Had a good experience. Fast and easy pickup, even faster and easier drop off. Cheap rental price, but very high deposit(800eur) if you don't take their insurance, which is fair. Car was almost brand new, just 12k km.

They canceled my reservation and did not want to give my deposit back, without giving me a reason. Racist people at the counter behaving very badly. I later wrote them a bunch of emails and no one answered.

Loved this beach. Water was gorgeous and cool. Sunbeds only 12 euros. Cocktails €5.50

Good rate for one day's rental but the car (Clio) had seen a bit too much already with some 45k on the clock already (which is a bit much for these roads). Not even nearly all damages were listed at the car's rental agreement. Anyway, after all, no problems or complains and everything as expected. (btw. exit from the parking garage is very tight)

Took a long time to take care of the paperwork despite having a reservation, the exit of the garage is too steep considering you're driving an unfamiliar car for the first time

Bad service. Got a car from them and the tank wasnt full, didnt pick up the car until two days after and the hotel staff was saying if we dont move the car they will drag it away and we already returned the key and europcar didnt answer the phone (never the whole trip). The worst part about this is that they took 300 euros in deposit for insurance if anything happens to the car and we delivered the car in fine shape. They havent sent the money back and it has been a week! Dont go there.
