This stupa was built by K.P.S.V.D.Raveendran from their family trust in memory of our independence day on4. 2.1951.And for the people of virudhunagar the reigning collector dedicated this stupa to the country. And the honourable chief minister Perunthalaivar Kamarajar opened this in 21.8.1954.on independence day our national flag hoist in this stupa.
