We went here for breakfast as it was close to our resort. The food was really delicious, the hotel had a pleasing ambience and Good taste of food. We ordered their fish curry with pal Appam, puttu and kadala curry . All the dishes were authentic taste and good proportion size as well! Not costly and a decent price for all the dishes. Must try when visiting chertala!

These are best from apsara. We ordered fish curry ( Idont remember which fish), beef fry, prawn roast, fish fry(netholi ) for two of us. Almost around 900 rp.. yaa best resturant in cherthala, for this kerala nadan meal we skip kochi restaurants 🙃 the place was highly recommended and the problem are Some items on the menu are not available, less gravy in curry like fish or whatever that's all.

We decided to have lunch from here. It was around 4 pm. We ordered Gobi Manchurian, Fried Rice, Porotta, and Chicken Curry. The quantity of the food was average. The rice and the manchurian were served in a small bowl. The porotta was crunchy and good. Chicken curry was not great. It had coconut roasted and grinded (thenga varuthu-arachathu) added to it. But the flavor was similar to fish curry. Ironically, their fish curry photo looks like chicken curry. We also had a glass of horlicks. Served in a tiny glass again and charged a lot.

Items are tasty.. but they charge high.. Like for example, a fish fry (single piece) costed me Rs130/= where as the cost of the same fish per kg (5 or 6 pieces will come in a kg) on the same day was below Rs200/= Ofcourse i returned the parcel for another dish which was comparatively cheap. So you can imagine their pricing policy and attitude..

Update on 2nd Feb: Service got improved. Washroom area is cleaner. Yet, it could have been better design. Food was moderately good. Not exceptional. But they shows a good consistency. New experience: Service was bit delay because of the crowd. Toilet and handwash area could have been better.

The frontage got renovated recently and that gives a fresh look! Parking is crowded during peak hours. Since the beginning, they serve fresh and quality cuisines. Portions are in considerable size too. You can get the best crispy Kerala porotta & Yummi beef roast in town here. Fish masala & duck roast were delicious too. However, I doubt the maintenance side of this joint. The upgraded washrooms weren't kept well. Management has to pay more attention to the cleanliness of your property, I feel.

During the journey to Ernakulam.We visited here during lunch time. We ordered meals , porotta , beef fry , chicken curry , chicken biryani, and beef curry. Everything tasted really good. The hygiene was well maintained. Their beef fry and porotta is too good. I really loved it. I think the meals were average. Not too many varieties unless everything was nice. The shop is not open on Sunday. Their service was also very nice. We could write over suggestions in a register. The quantity was average. But the quality was very nice. Highly recommended. Overall a good experience. The place has a lot of parking. When we visited, it was very crowded.one of the best hotel in cherthala

One of the best hotel I ever visited in Kerala. Very good service. The lady waiter was extremely warm and welcoming and explained us about the culture and history of this 35 year old hotel. We tried a beef roast, beef pepper fry, porotta and kallu appam. The beef roast was unmatchable. It was best beef roast I ever had from any hotel in my life. The beef pepper fry was also great with taste of pepper and garlic. The kallu appam resembled the taste of my grandmother's appam. The ambience, vibe and the culture matched the food. The food is prepared and served with love and we would feel it rightly. Must visit hotel for beef roast in Alapuzha. Highly recommended. Ample parking space. Neat and tidy

This place is very neat and tidy, they got a special interest in keeping their surrounding well maintained. Taste of Food were petty average.

The best Beef Fry I recently had. It was perfect with the flaky porotta and pazhampori. We had chilli chicken which was good too. A must visit place for all those Beef Fry fans.

Enroute Ernakulam to kollam we visited this place for lunch. First of all the drinking water superb in taste it was a mix of ginger jeera and elaichi. Meals was ok and fish curry was good. It's heavily crowded and most of the seats were full. Since it's located in NH the parking will be easy. The staff's were very friendly and cooperative. Fish item rates are little High when compared to others. Need to concentrate on the hygiene little more. Most of the people were having biriyani from then. The restaurant was exhibited with latest movie ads and theatre names with timings.

Neatly maintained restaurant with limited number of seats. Food is very fresh and yummy. Very less amount of oil is used and you won't feel heavy after the meals. Quantity is bit less compared to the price but a very decent restaurant for families. Awesome food taste and very very friendly staffs. I have been a regular customer before and after long time now. They have improved a lot regarding cleanliness and have good seating capacity now. The toilet and washing area is also expanded and are very clean. Eventhough it's near by high way and opposite Indian coffee house, can see that it's crowded always. Quality and quantity of food is what makes it so good. As well as the staffs. I appreciate them being so friendly.

Good service and order was on table very quick. We tried meals, fried rice, butter chicken and chicken biryani with one piece fried Kalanji fish. Everything except biriyani were good. Biriyani tasted or smelled a lot of pineapple essence.

Consider this only if you want to try out a new restaurant.. AC ambience is really good and, I appreciate their service and arrangements. Coming to the most important and crucial part.. The food is not that much tasty, it feels okay. There are no such tastes that prompts an inner call to revisit. Coming to the costs, it's too highly priced. You might be surprised by reading this as the rate is equal to other nearby top notch restaurants but the quantity is too low. Here comes their savings part and the big loss to customers.

Walked into Apsara hotel with fair amount of apprehension after a horrible experience at Travancore Palace Hotel. Fortunately, the warmth of Apsara overcame the bitter Travancore experience. Good ambience, clean atmosphere, friendly staff & yummy food makes Apsara a top notch place. Hospitality of the restaurant staff is good and they pay attention to customers, something which most Kerala restaurant lacks. Don’t be fooled by the exteriors which looks a little shabby because of the road construction. Interiors are tidy and gives a serene ambience Will definitely go back to the place.

Very old facility with good ambience and quality. The hotel felt like old generation hotel with updated quality and gmp standards. All the times satisfied. Only the thing during lunch timing seat and parking availability will be less because of rush hours

This restaurant is located on Kochi Trivandrum highway. Mainly this restaurant for non vegetarian peoples you cannot find here veg dishes where there is no taste of veg food. I have stopped my vehicle here to have dinner, but I cannot find the proper food. Otherwise overall it is a good hotel,it's only special for non veg food you can take care of many varieties available here.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say, their quality of food is truly their unique selling point. The newly added extension with air-conditioned dining ambiance is simply awesome. They now offer over 15 tables, including both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned options. While there's a significant improvement in their dining space, parking remains somewhat limited, with space for 5 to 6 cars. One area that could use some work is the staff approach, which I believe needs improvement. Despite this, I would still recommend it for the delicious food and the wonderful dining atmosphere.

It can be called more as a Wayside restaurant. Renovated space has the availability of AC seating. It appears more hygenic compared to the Non AC seating and has a good ambience.Quality and quantity of the food is satisfactory with reasonable pricing.Toilets are maintained well. They have a decent parking space.

I had biriyani and beef fry today. The quality of food was very bad. Biriyani is spoiled by using pineapple essence. Chicken was not properly cooked. Beef fry is also very bad in quality not cooked properly .. Totally awastage of money and time. Opted here by seeing positive review but in my experience it's below average.

Food delivery is very fast and overall it's very tasty. Had meals, fish curry and chicken biriyani. Pretty good. It's crowded but due to faster delivery wait time is low.

Been cruising around those parts near the hotel, but didn't dine in until last week. Food was quite good, service was nice, the hotel has been there for quite a while and has a reputation to hold. Price of the food is more than average but the quality is excellent. Serving quantity is on lower side. 4 stars for food 3 for ambience 4 for service 2 for hotel management 2 for portion size. Parking is available, washrooms are tidy, the hotel has a soul of its own. 👍
